Kaia Gerber was the spitting image of her mom Cindy Crawford as she stepped out in New York City on July 27. The 24-year-old channeled Crawford’s ‘90s supermodel style in a satin little black dress.
Gerber paired her sleeveless, knee-length shift with pointed-toe mules, evoking a look of her mom’s from 1991. Crawford attended a benefit for AIDS Project Los Angeles in a backless satin halter gown and sharp slingbacks.

Gerber also accessorized with a small handbag and oversized sunglasses, wearing her brunette tresses in bouncy waves.
Crawford shares Kaia and a 27-year-old son, Presley, with her husband Rande Gerber.
In May, Kaia’s family celebrated with her as she toasted the launch of her new Re/Done capsule, The Kaia Edit. They tagged along for the Los Angeles event held in her honor, which also commemorated her joining the brand as an investor, creative partner, and advisory board member earlier this year.

Naturally, all four of them wore denim, with Kaia wearing distressed medium-washed jeans with a backless cropped sweater, an ivory leather handbag, gold pumps, and black cat-eye frames.
As for Crawford, she opted for a denim-on-denim look, tucking a chambray button-down into a pair of mid-rise jeans, rounding out her look with a yellow purse, nude open-toe heels, and stacks of bracelets and necklaces.

Kaia’s accompanying campaign is titled “Short/Cuts,” and per a Re/Done press release shared with InStyle, “unfolds through photography and motion as a series of cinematic fragments built around [Kaia] and the three pillars of the Re/Done universe: Originals, Vintage, and Upcycling.”
“Re/Done has always felt like a natural extension of who I am,” said Kaia. “I’ve worn these clothes for years before any of this became official. Short/Cuts was really about capturing how I actually live in them—the pieces I come back to over and over again.”
