Good Morning America Weekend co-anchor Janai Morgan just broke her silence on reports of her exit from the ABC morning show.

On Friday, April 3, Morgan posted a video message to her X and Instagram followers confirming the news and thanking them for their support.

"I've read every message. And I am deeply grateful for the love," the 36-year-old journalist captioned her Instagram update. "More to come when the time is right ✨."

In the accompanying video, Morgan confessed, "I hoped that we'd have more time. And it's been hard on me that our time was cut short."

However, she also shared, "I have loved my job. It has been a joy to connect with my co-workers and with viewers to help keep you informed and entertained, and to create this community. So it really breaks my heart that I don't get to say goodbye. I'm so sorry that I don't get to say goodbye. It would have been fun."

Morgan continued, "But I have these three young kids, and I have worked weekends their whole lives. And so now, they get more of me. And that is worth everything. So, stay tuned. I'm sorry. I feel you. And thank you to every single one of you who has reached out with such kind and validating words. I have needed and I appreciate it."

Her GMA Weekend colleague, Kenneth Moton, shared his support in the comments, writing, "CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🎉 Proud of you @janai.norman! ❤️The work you put in. And what you accomplished. You survived. You thrived. Can't 👏🏾 wait 👏🏾 for this next chapter…because it's going to be…🔥💫."

Another GMA Weekend co-anchor, Gio Benitez, declared, "Love you so very much 🤍."

MS NOW's The Cross Connection host Tiffany Cross shared, "We love you and thank you so much for all you brought to our screens. I understand more than most how you feel. I can't wait to celebrate your next chapter 🙏🏽💞."

CNN's NewsNight host Abby Phillip echoed, "❤️❤️ proud of you and here for you. We know this is just the beginning.."

Meanwhile, ABC meteorologist Brittany Bell commented, "You are such a light on and off camera. Your warm personality always made it easy to fill in and I know it made viewers feel right at home seeing you on screen. Your next chapter will be even better ❤️❤️❤️."On April 2, a source familiar with the situation told Parade that Norman's contract was up and not renewed. ABC declined to comment.

Kim Zolciak has been ordered to attend "parent therapy" sessions amid her ongoing custody dispute with ex Kroy Biermann.

In a temporary parenting plan obtained by PEOPLE on Friday, April 3, Cobb County Superior Court Judge Kellie S. Hill ordered Zolciak, 47, to complete all four sessions between April 3 and Monday, April 13, while her and Biermann's children are out of school. "All four children shall remain in the Father's physical custody" during that time, the judge ordered, per the parenting plan.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and Biermann, 40, share four children: Kroy "KJ" Jagger Jr., 14, Kash Kade, 13, and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 12.

The Guardian ad Litem (GAL) is then required to "independently verify" that Zolciak attended the therapy sessions, per the document. PEOPLE has reached out to the court-appointed GAL for comment.

"Once Mother completes her four (4) sessions as required, the parties shall resume operation under the existing Court Ordered Parenting Plan, which otherwise remains in full force and effect until further agreement and/or modification by this Court," the order reads.

In a statement shared with PEOPLE, Zolciak says she signed a temporary custody order at the end of January that orders her and Biermann to complete two counseling sessions per month for two months, and then one session a month after that. She notes that she was unable to attend previous sessions from Feb. 26 through March 28 due to "contractual filming obligations" out of the country.

She says that Bierman has their four children the upcoming week for their spring break, which was previously "his designated parenting time under the existing agreement," and she will complete her counseling sessions during that time.

"For the avoidance of any doubt, I have not lost custody of my children, nor has there been any modification to the custody agreement outside of the agreed-upon temporary order," Zolciak says.

PEOPLE has reached out to reps for Biermann.

The week prior, Biermann and Zolciak entered into a temporary parenting plan where KJ and Kash would remain in Zolciak's physical custody, and Kaia and Kane would remain in Biermann's physical custody. That plan was entered by the court on March 3 and went into effect the week of March 30, per the order.

The latest development comes days after Biermann filed for sole custody of the former couple's four children, claiming that she has been "wholly unavailable" to them.

In court documents previously obtained by PEOPLE, the former professional football player filed an order for immediate change in custody to obtain sole custody, as well as all decision-making authority, for all four children.

Biermann claimed that Zolciak entered their temporary mediated parenting plan in "bad faith," alleging that she knew she couldn't adhere to the terms of the agreement. He claimed she "almost immediately" left the country for extended periods, making her "wholly unavailable to parent the children in any fashion" under their agreed-upon parenting plan.

He added in the documents that she was out of the country from Feb. 26 to March 29, albeit one night on March 9, and missed numerous weekly family therapy sessions.

In April 2023, after about 12 years of marriage, Zolciak and Biermann filed for divorce for the first time. However, in July 2023, a source told PEOPLE that the couple called off the divorce and were "trying to make it work for the kids." In August 2023, Biermann filed for divorce for a second time.

Biermann then filed for sole legal and physical custody in May 2023, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE at the time. TMZ was first to report the news.

Ernie Hudson has built a screen career chasing ghosts, solving crime and taking part in dozens of other professions. He can do his own stunts too.

In the latest episode of CBS' Boston Blue, Hudson's character of the Silver family patriarch, Rev. Edwin Peters, gets a little more physical than usual.

Released on Friday, April 3, "Beautiful Broken Things" finds Rev. Peters shot at during a community event, later revealing the truth about his wife's death (which he never told his daughter, DA Mae Silver), and eventually coming face-to-face with a life-or-death situation right inside his own church.

But with a little help from Boston Police Department detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and fellow BPD standout Lena Silver (his granddaughter, played by Sonequa Martin-Green), Hudson's Rev. Peters wastes no time throwing a situation-diffusing punch and marking a first for the actor in the crime drama.

"It was funny," Hudson, 80, tells PEOPLE of filming the scene. "When they brought a stuntman in to throw the punch and I go, 'Really, guys? I mean, I think I can throw a punch.'"

"We weren't sure," Hudson recalls of the response he got. "I'm like, 'Really?' I turned 80, but something about that number, it's big. And it's even big for me. Sometimes people assume that maybe you can't do something, but I've always tried to stay ready, so to speak."

Known for his decades onscreen in Ghostbusters, Quantum Leap, The Crow and beyond, the actor tells PEOPLE he "always hoped for the role to come along" where he "really got a chance to show" what he can do.

"I was always afraid of not being prepared and not being in shape to do it. So I've never allowed myself to get too far out of shape or too heavy," Hudson says of keeping fit. "And I've never been lost. I've never been too heavy. I've maintained my weight for all these years because I think it is my responsibility as an actor to bring.... This is my instrument, so to speak."

He adds, "Part of that is I just learned to maintain a little bit throughout the day as opposed to getting the chance to go to the gym. Most people want to save up and think that they're going to do it all at once or they'll put on a lot of weight and then have to fight to take it off."

Before boarding Boston Blue, Hudson says he wasn't quite sure what to expect from his character's physical scenes. His latest episode was a welcome surprise.

"To see the Reverend sort of dig down and get physical, I didn't expect that. So it was a lot going on and it was a chance for me to ... I was worried in the beginning. I didn't want to be stuck just at the dinner table and to say something old and wise and that was it," he says. "So it was nice to get out of the house and be active. I was really excited about it."

The star, like Rev. Peters, is a grandfather himself. He's also a great-grandfather. As he now plays the head of a family, with a newly revealed secret at play, Hudson tells PEOPLE that families are "never quite as simple."

"They look like they're so together, but when you look inside, there's a lot going on," Hudson adds. "I was happy that they brought in some issues on the show, didn't make it just simple. We're all just a happy family and we have Shabbat dinners and there's no.... But there are issues and there are disagreements and there are hurt feelings. I'm glad that they want to show the roundedness of the character and the family in the show."

While time will tell if Hudson gets to throw another punch or two in Boston Blue, the actor is hopeful for more of a spotlight on "the community that he serves, that he loves, that he protects" in Rev. Peters' future.

Boston Blue airs Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.

When Ye returned to Los Angeles for his first full live show in the United States since 2021, it was as if time hadn't passed.

The hip-hop mogul, formerly known as Kanye West, hit the stage at SoFi Stadium on Wednesday, April 1, for his first of two shows following recent performances in Mexico City and China, and his first apology in years for the antisemitic messages he spewed. The rapper previously shared rhetoric widely deemed as antisemitic on social media, used a 2025 Super Bowl ad to redirect viewers to a website selling a $20 swastika T-shirt, and dropped a song praising Adolf Hitler.

In a lengthy advertisement from The Wall Street Journal's Jan. 26 issue addressed to "those I've hurt," Ye stated he was not an "antisemite" and detailed a rocky mental health history, which included his bipolar disorder diagnosis, that he said fueled his behavior.

"My words as a leader in my community have global impact and influence. In my mania, I lost complete sight of that," he wrote.

What did Ye say at his concert?

At Wednesday's show, Ye did not address any controversies; instead, he focused on performing 32 tracks, including many from his new studio album "Bully," which dropped on March 28. The show also featured guest performances from rapper Don Toliver, who played the "Donda" track "Moon," and Ye's 12-year-old daughter North West, whom he shares with Kim Kardashian.

Ye's only commentary at the show, according to The New York Times, was berating stage technicians over the pace of the lighting.

"Is this an 'SNL' skit or something?" Ye said on stage as the crowd laughed, the Times reported. "Stop doing the vibrating, Vegas lights, bro. We went over this in rehearsal."

The Los Angeles Times' music critic Mikael Wood said the show had a tense, unsettling environment as Ye reportedly scolded people on stage, including collaborators and dancers, in what Wood described as a "bully's arena."

"The show felt less like a concert and more like watching a superstar bully everyone in his orbit," Wood's review reads.

The Hollywood Reporter's Ethan Millman called Ye's live vocals "muddy at times as well," emphasizing the difficulty in distinguishing his actual voice from his recorded vocals and backing tracks.

Variety's Steven J. Horowitz also highlighted the backing vocals being louder than his and stated that the stage fog blocked the crowd's ability to see him.

"But that was of little concern to those who seemed to forget about the very heavy baggage accompanying the performance. It was an evening to remember the greatness of Ye as he once was, and perhaps still is: imaginative, boundlessly creative and transformative," his review reads.

What did concertgoers say?

Based on several reviews of the show, the audience seemed thrilled to see Ye return to the United States, with some saying that his new "Bully" album brought them back to the "old Kanye" era, according to Millman with The Hollywood Reporter.

Ahead of the show, fans seemed willing to separate Ye's past actions from his music and ability to put on a good show.

"We know his medical history and why he has his rants, he talks about being bipolar," 32-year-old Chris Gutierrez told the Hollywood Reporter. "We're coming here more to appreciate the music."

Gutierrez said he understands why many former fans stopped listening to him after his recent controversies.

"It's hard, I get it. I come from a psych background," Gutierrez told the Hollywood Reporter. "I don't know if he was lucid enough or he wasn't. But we're here more for the music."

Julian Caratachea, 20, also emphasized separating the process of separating art from the artist to the New York Times.

"His music never did nothing to us," Caratachea told the Times, expressing excitement for Ye to do more live events. "As long as you're here for the music and you're not here just on your opinion of something, then that's all that matters. That's what's going to bring us together — the music."
