Piers Morgan questions the Sussexes’ privacy and security stance after Meghan’s family post
Morgan took to X to respond to a Daily Mail report about Meghan Markle’s latest Instagram post. In the video, Markle shared a glimpse into the family’s UK return, featuring moments of them splashing in puddles, Lilibet riding a bicycle, fishing, enjoying country walks, gathering around a bonfire, walking their Labrador, and more. She also added a British flag and a heart emoji to the video.
Morgan responded to the Daily Mail’s report, which was headlined, “Harry and Meghan’s ‘cosy’ Instagram glimpse of their new life back in Britain is an attempt to relaunch their ‘wounded’ brand after failing to conquer the US, PR experts say.”

He questioned the Sussexes’ calls for privacy and security while pointing to their decision to share glimpses of their family life online. He wrote, “So they demand privacy and want taxpayer-funded security to protect them… whilst simultaneously posting footage to social media that reveals images of the children and where they’re all living.”
Morgan’s remarks come after a recent report revealed that Harry and Markle’s children, Archie and Lilibet, had changed schools due to security concerns. A spokesperson close to the Sussexes said, “The decision for the children to move schools was taken following a discussion with the family’s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements.”
The spokesperson added that the couple remain appreciative of the love and care the school showed their children. They also clarified that the decision was not a reflection of the school’s environment or the exceptional care the children received. The school switch reportedly came just days after Archie and Lilibet had begun attending the institution.
