Kathie Lee Gifford isn't looking for love! After losing her beloved husband, Frank Gifford, in 2015, searching for Mr. Right isn't on her radar, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

"I am not dating anybody right now, and I don't want to date," said the 72-year-old grandmother of five.

"I'm not looking, and I don't think I'll ever get married again. I had an opportunity for that to maybe happen, and it didn't work out. Frank will always be the love of my life. If God wants to do something miraculous, like give me another great love [then I'm open to it]. And so I leave room for the miraculous to happen."

Love Lasted Until His Death

Frank Gifford remained Kathie Lee Gifford's greatest love, as she said she has no plans to date or remarry.MEGA

The couple met in 1982 during Kathie Lee's stint on Good Morning America. At the time, former New York Giants star Frank was on Monday Night Football's broadcasting team.

Despite a 23-year age difference, the two fell head over heels and wed in 1986. They welcomed son Cody in 1990 and daughter Cassidy in 1993.

They remained deeply in love until the day Frank died at 84 on Aug. 9, 2015. Kathie Lee found him after he'd suffered a heart attack.

"Cody was home from school, and we tried to resuscitate him," she recalled.

"The EMT guys came and they said, 'Mrs. Gifford, we want you to know your husband, he never suffered. He never saw the ground he fell on.'"

Frank's CTE Diagnosis Changed Everything

Posthumous brain scans revealed Frank had stage 4 CTE, prompting his family to donate his brain for research.MEGA

After Frank passed, posthumous brain scans revealed he had stage 4 CTE, a progressive, degenerative brain disease often found in athletes with a history of repetitive brain trauma.

The family donated his brain to science to be studied for CTE, she said.

Since leaving the Today show in 2019, Kathie Lee has increasingly made Nashville, Tenn., her home.

Kathie Lee Embraces Life's Precious Moments

Following her departure from the 'Today' show, Kathie Lee said she now focuses on finding joy in the present.MEGA

With a showbiz career of nearly 50 years behind her, Kathie Lee recently put a whopping $100 million price tag on the palatial estate in Greenwich, Conn., that she shared with NFL Hall of Famer Frank.

Today, Kathie Lee said she focuses on the present, adding: "I need to find joy in the moment I'm in right now, because none of us know when is our last breath."

The Packers could use a boost.

For the first time since 1990 (excluding the Covid-affected 2020 season), the Packers operated at a loss — and CEO Ed Policy believes some changes may be necessary going forward.

“It’s like other teams have access to this ATM machine that we just don’t have right now,” Policy said Friday, according to the .

Packers CEO Ed Policy believes the team needs to make some changes to compete in the long-term Icon Sportswire via Getty Images

“We’re going to have to be more aggressive with revenue generation going forward,” he added. “We all know the cost of competing in the NFL is going up, and other teams have access to capital sources that we just don’t have.”

Green Bay is the only publicly owned franchise in the NFL and reported $753 million in revenue against $754.1 million in expenses.

Revenues increased 4.7 percent from the prior fiscal year, and net income also increased by 54.8 percent.

Nevertheless, at a time when the league’s ownership is increasingly being influenced by private equity investment, the Packers’ unique ownership structure is seemingly making life more challenging.

Green Bay has just under $281.6 million committed to its active 53-man roster, according to Spotrac, which is 21st of 32 teams.

“I feel very good about the Packers’ financial strength and condition in the medium term and the short term, certainly,” Policy said. “But we are keeping a very close eye on some of these long-term trends, looking at how they impact us and our financial health in the long term.

“We do have to make sure that we’re always in a position where we can continue to invest wisely in whatever it takes to field a championship-caliber team, whether that’s player costs, football staff or facilities.”

The executive added that the team has no plans to sell naming rights to the historic Lambeau Field.

Policy also acknowledged the Packers cannot easily raise money by selling minority stakes in their franchise, as other teams can.

Despite their apparent financial challenges, the Packers have been extremely consistent of late.

They have made the playoffs in four of the past five seasons — with a 50-34-1 record in that time — though they’ve won just one playoff game in that span.

Asha Parker-Wallace says playing Nala in Lion King is the highlight of her career to date

When you think of theatre, the West End comes to mind, a hubbub of voices as the audience enters, curtain up; for many, a creative heart of London...

The sweeping hills of Shropshire might not come to mind as quickly in this context - but maybe they should, as Shrewsbury is emerging as a training ground for musical theatre talent.

Several local performers have recently secured lead roles in the West End.

Among them, Stephenson Ardern-Sodje, who took over the title road in the musical Hamilton last month, having first performed it a decade ago.

Meanwhile Asha Parker-Wallace, who also first trod the boards in the town, is playing Nala in the Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre.

Paying tribute to her Shrewsbury upbringing, she said: "There's places where you can go to work on your craft and they're actually fantastic places to be."

In his first job out of drama school, Ardern-Sodje was third cover for Hamilton as part of the original cast, and ended up being called on to perform.

"Going on for the first time as Hamilton is something I'll always remember," he said. "This really does feel like coming full circle now."

Stephenson Ardern-Sodje first appeared in the West End as Hamilton a decade ago

His earliest experiences were in Shrewsbury amateur dramatics, and he remembered being in productions at Severn Theatre and in Les Mis at his sixth form college.

Unsure how to turn his hobby into a career, taking part in an open casting call for Hamilton changed the course of his life.

"They liked me and actually sent me to drama school to study," he explained.

He has since performed Shakespeare at the Globe and played Simba in the Lion King, also appearing in the role at Manchester Arena in front of 12,000 people, "which made me feel a bit like a rock star".

He said his drama and music teachers at Wakeman School and Arts College had always championed him – as had local am-dram director Alex Hinton who still travels to watch him on stage.

"Having people there, just to know it's possible, is a really big key to open the door," he said.

"It's a real shame that's not something that's necessarily available to kids and adults all over the country."

Parker-Wallace signed up to Stagecoach performing arts classes when she moved to Shrewsbury, which she said awoke a love for musical theatre.

She later joined local company Curtain Call Studios, which she described as "fantastic". It was there that she first thought: "I need to take this seriously... I think I might have a talent for it."

A former pupil of Thomas Adams School in Wem, she signed with an agent while still at drama school and booked Burlesque, her first show, a couple of weeks before graduating.

Appearing on the West End stage after dreaming about it for so long was "actually insane", she said, "like an out-of-body experience". "I think I cried."

Lion King was the first show she had ever seen, as a six-year-old in London with her parents.

"I remember watching it and feeling so inspired by the performers on the stage," she said.

"Now I can be in the position where I can potentially inspire the next generation of people to pursue a career in this, or to pursue their dreams."

Ahmed Hamad, who is starring in Operation Mincemeat, also hails from Shrewsbury

Ahmed Hamad, who is starring as Charles Cholmondeley in Operation Mincemeat at the Fortune Theatre, also highlighted the number of lighting designers and directors from Shrewsbury.

Another Curtain Call alumni, he put it down there being "so many" theatre groups in the town comparative to its size.

The performer, who has Sudanese and Saudi Arabian heritage, said he felt fortunate to be working at a time when opportunities were open to him.

"If this show had been done maybe 20 years ago, I probably wouldn't have been seen for it," he said.

"I remember saying to my agent after graduating, 'I'd love to be in shows like Hamilton and Lion King, but I also don't want to be in a show just because of my race'.

"I also want to play roles that haven't been played by a black person, North East African, Middle Eastern person."

England players celebrate their win against Northern Ireland at the Hydro Arena

England opened their Commonwealth Games netball campaign with a comprehensive 83-34 victory over Northern Ireland in Pool A.

The 2018 champions flew into a 24-7 lead before Northern Ireland managed to slow England's scoring.

However, the Warriors were unable to overcome the gulf as third-ranked England took the opportunity to rotate their squad in the second half.

Experienced shooter Eleanor Cardwell came on after half-time to score 35 of her 37 shots, a higher amount than the Northern Ireland team combined, as England's class told.

The Roses are seeking to regain the title they won in the Gold Coast after failing to make the podium four years later in Birmingham, but have experienced a rocky build-up to the competition.

Only two of the Roses' 12-player squad have experience in the Commonwealth Games - Cardwell and captain Fran Williams - after injuries to gold medallists Helen Housby and Natalie Metcalf, who withdrew with a calf injury on Monday.

The side's head coach Jess Thirlby stepped down from the role in March because of family reasons, leaving assistant Anna Stembridge to take interim charge for a second spell after a stint as head coach from 2011-2015.

England will next play reigning champions Australia, who stormed to a 99-38 victory over Tonga, at 11:00 BST on Sunday.

Hosts Scotland fell to a 74-44 Pool B defeat by 2022 bronze medallists New Zealand in the opening match of the competition.

The second season came to an emotional finale that left the fate of several couples up in the air

Ransom Canyon has come to another emotional conclusion for its second season.

Season 2 of the Western romance drama, which dropped all eight episodes on Netflix on July 23, picked up where the first season ended and continued following the members of the Ransom Canyon community in Texas.

Similar to the first season, the series stars Josh Duhamel as Staten Kirkland, the owner of Double K Ranch, who is in a will they/won’t they relationship with his high school crush, Quinn O’Grady (Minka Kelly). Of course, in true drama fashion, Staten and Quinn’s relationship is far from straightforward, and they each find ways to avoid revealing their true feelings for each other.

Meanwhile, Staten and Quinn’s dynamic isn’t the only complicated one. Lauren Brigman (Lizzy Greene) finds herself in a love triangle with brothers Lucas (Garrett Wareing) and Kit Russell (Casey W. Johnson), and Ellie Estevez’s (Marianly Tejada) relationship with Yancy Grey (Jack Schumacher) gets thrown for a loop when his dangerous ex-wife Sidney (Heidi Grace Engerman) appears.

Although the series hasn’t officially been renewed for season 3, showrunner April Blair teased to Deadline that she’s hopeful for a third season and is already figuring out the “next story.”

Here’s everything to know about how Ransom Canyon season 2 ended.

Warning: Ransom Canyon season 2 spoilers below!

Do Staten and Quinn end up together?

Throughout the first two seasons of Ransom Canyon, Staten (Duhamel) and Quinn (Kelly) have struggled to find their happy ending.

In the beginning of the season, Quinn and Staten hit the pause button on any potential romance because she left to work as a pianist in New York. To further throw a wrench into the situation, she meets the British heartthrob Oliver (Ben Robson), who seems to be perfect for her.

“On paper, Oliver is probably, arguably, the better choice,” Blair told Entertainment Weekly. “[He] represents this other part of her life that is equally full and rich, and is just all in, and doesn’t question his own feelings or hers.”

Although Oliver seems to be Quinn’s match, she ultimately turns down his proposal and breaks up with him after realizing she still has feelings for Staten. Even with both Quinn and Staten single, they still have difficulty committing to each other. Staten feels like he isn’t good enough for her, while Quinn is scared of giving him her heart.

Luckily for the couple, Quinn’s mother Claire O’Grady (Patricia Clarkson) sees how the two are meant to be together and intervenes. Claire, who was previously opposed to the relationship when they were in high school, tells Staten to fight for her daughter.

The two meet up at his cabin, where Staten finally breaks down his barriers and tells her, “Fate kept us apart for a reason. Amalah and Randall [his late wife and son], I don’t regret a single moment of my life with them. Fate was making us ready for each other.”

Staten and Quinn fully commit to each other, and Staten asks Quinn to move in with him.

“I think, moving forward, there will be hurdles and challenges, but it’s not about breaking them up,” Blair told Deadline of the couple. “It’s two seasons to bring them together, and I don’t want to just keep doing that to people, apart together.”

She continued, “A relationship, finding each other and falling in love, is actually the easy part. It’s making a life with someone and figuring out who they really are deep down, what are the skeletons in their closets, and ‘Can you love someone at their worst?’ ”

Who does Lauren end up with?

Another love story that’s far from over is the sheriff’s young adult daughter Lauren trying to find her person too.

Prior to season 2, Lauren was dating her high school sweetheart Lucas, but their relationship was far from perfect. When the second season picks up, it’s revealed that Lauren has developed a strong bond with Lucas’ older brother, Kit. In the midst of the love triangle, Lauren and Kit kiss, Lucas sees and subsequently sleeps with Lauren’s friend Ashley (Jennifer Ens).

In the emotional finale, Lauren’s dad, Sheriff Dan Brigman (Philip Winchester) learns about Lauren and Kit’s kiss and encourages him to flee town. Kit listens to Dan and decides that the responsible thing to do would be to move away and not be with Lauren. Lauren rushes to find him and sees Lucas instead, but their interaction helps her realize she wants to be with Kit.

Lucas appears to understand as he tells Lauren where Kit is getting on a bus, so she runs to him and tells him that she’s “not letting you go.”

“What [Lucas is] realizing is he needs to stop focusing on Lauren and winning her back,” Blair told Deadline. “He needs to have his own sort of experience and figure himself out. We have a lot of fun with that in season 3. Let him have his you know his own bad boy era. Moving forward, in our idea of season 3 — we’re just in the room — it’s a potential season 3 right now, but the idea is that Lucas is hurt, but he’s trying to put on [a brave face].”

What happens to Sydney?

Yancy (Schumacher) and Ellie (Tejada) are another Ransom Canyon couple who have had no shortage of ups and downs over the last two seasons — from past secrets resurfacing to sketchy business deals.

However, by season 2, Ellie is pregnant with their child and has accepted his proposal, after all. Just when the two seem to be getting into a groove, his secret ex-wife Sidney (Engerman) shows up and causes chaos. Not only does Sidney refuse to grant him a divorce, but she also convinces him to scam a senator into buying worthless land. Ellie even goes along with it in the hopes that Sidney will agree to the divorce and leave for good.

In the midst of the con, Ellie encourages Yancy to fake he went through with the scam to Sidney in order to get her to sign the divorce papers. Sidney believes him and agrees to the divorce and to leave town.

Unfortunately, Sidney returns in the nick of time to find out the tables had been turned on her. She gets upset and confronts Ellie, which causes her to fall and go into early labor. Sidney flees before police can find her and her future with or without Ransom Canyon is unknown.

“Who knows? The best part is nobody knows,” Blair told EW. “I have this vision that she’s in the wind, changed how she looks, and is grifting. She’s like a black widow ... She’s deep undercover. Somewhere fabulous though, I’m sure.”

What happens to Ellie and Yancy?

Ellie is rushed to the hospital for her early labor, where doctors were luckily able to treat her placental abrasion and safely deliver the baby and keep Ellie healthy. Ellie and Yancy welcome a daughter and name her Isabella.

However, Ellie and Yancy’s future isn’t as guaranteed. After giving birth, Ellie comes to the realization that she now has to protect her daughter, as well as herself, and may not be safe with Yancy. She checks out of the hospital by herself and decides to break up with Yancy over the possible danger he poses to her and her daughter’s lives.

Ellie returns home, and when Yancy finds her there, he also sees Ellie’s ex Kai Flores (Justin Johnson Cortez) protecting the house.

“The end of season two is a sign of things to come, which is that scene on the porch between Kai and Yancy,” Blair teased to Deadline. “That’s the beginning of a new story. We’ve hinted and had these little Easter eggs in two seasons that Kai and Ellie have this history that Kai was a bit of a bad boy back in his own day, like reformed, but he’s always been very steadfast and truly concerned and loving of her.”

She continued, “I think we’ve got to the end of Season 2 where Ellie is faced with a choice: is it now that her daughter is here and she’s making decisions that aren’t just about her, is she going to choose her head or her heart? Is she going to choose the guy that she feels safe standing watch on her porch, or is she going to choose the guy who makes her weak in the knees?”

Blair said that the final scene with Kai, Ellie and Yancy is “really the launch of the next story.”

Katie Lee Biegel, the ex-wife of Billy Joel, has said Chevy Chase was “not so nice” to her when they met at a party that she and Joel hosted.

The Food Network star married the “Uptown Girl” singer in 2004 when she was 23 years old and he was 55. They stayed married for five years before divorcing in 2009.

Biegel, 44, recounted some of her notable celebrity encounters over the years on a recent episode of her All on the Table with Katie Lee Biegel podcast.

“My celebrity run-in that was not so nice was Chevy Chase,” she said, recalling an “old-school keg party” that she and Joel had thrown years earlier.

“At the end of the summer, we decided to have a kind of tear-the-house-down party, keg party, and I had Jell-O shots, kegs. It was a very star-studded party,” she said.

The occasion soured, however, when Chase “shooed” Biegel away after mistaking her for staff, according to the TV chef.

“My ex-husband was standing talking to Chevy Chase and his wife and I had a tray of Jell-O shots,” she said. “And I went up with the tray of Jell-O shots and said, ‘Do you guys want a shot?’ and Chevy thought that I was the staff at the party. And he took his hand and shooed me away.”

The Independent has contacted a representative of Chase for comment.

The star of films including National Lampoon’s Vacation (1983), Caddyshack (1980), and Fletch (1985), Chase has earned a reputation for being difficult, with a number of feuds reported over the course of his career.

John Belushi, Bill Murray, and his Community co-stars Joel McHale and Donald Glover are among those to have had run-ins with the actor.

Speaking in his documentary last year, Chase seemed unphased about the conflicts. “It’s just Hollywood stuff,” he said. “It never really bothered me.”

Biegel had a more enjoyable encounter with The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart, who “could not have been lovelier” when they met back in 2003.

“When I worked at the fish market in Sag Harbor back in 2003, my first summer in the Hamptons, my very first customer was Jon Stewart,” she said. “And he could not have been lovelier. He was so nice. He was patient with me.”

Chevy Chase pictured in December 2025 (Getty)

Biegel and Joel separated in 2009. The musician opened up about their relationship and his alcoholism in his HBO Max documentary last year.

“She kinda gave me an ultimatum,” he said in Billy Joel: And So It Goes. “Either you do something about your drinking or this isn’t gonna work out.”

Joel poured water on rumours that Biegel was having an affair, calling such speculation “a bunch of bulls***”.

“We just drifted apart from each other,” he said. Biegel also suggested that the singer resented her for pushing him to go to rehab, after which it was “hard to recover” their connection.

“I don’t think either one of us wanted it to not work out, but it just became obvious that it wasn't working,” she said. “And I remember one night we had dinner and I said, ‘Bill, I’m unhappy.’ And he said, ‘Do you wanna get a divorce?’ And I said, ‘Yeah,’ and he said, ‘OK.’ And that was it.”

Joel remarried with Alexis Roderick in 2015, with Biegel tying the knot with television producer Ryan Biegiel in 2018.

I try to stay kind of ready in case something comes along. So I do a lot of biking. I do less running than I used to, but I still love to go for a run if I can. I try to get weightlifting in. I love CrossFit. I’m also into Pilates whenever my schedule allows, but I just try to do a little bit of everything.”

The entrepreneur also advocated the need to switch up your fitness routine from time to time. She said, “Once your body gets used to something, it stops responding. So people might go to the gym and get on the elliptical, and for the first two months they’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, yeah, I’m seeing changes.’ They might lose some weight or gain some muscle here or there, but ultimately your body’s going to get used to that.”

Many internet sleuths and plastic surgeons have suggested that Lara looks drastically different when compared to her pictures from before. An earlier August 2025 The List news report revealed a side-by-side comparison of the First daughter-in-law’s face that revealed her face and lips looking fuller in the current times than what they did a few years ago.

Lara, who is married to Donald Trump’s third child, Eric Trump, also sports a more refined nose and a smoother skin tone now, and has also adopted the blonde hair color popular among some prominent MAGA figures.

Cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Mariano Busso had also hinted to the publication that the Lara Trump Collection founder might have undergone a “multitude of treatments” over the span of many years to achieve the infamous “Mar-a-Lago” face. However, it cannot be denied that Lara Trump has achieved that sculpted and toned physique with quite the dedication and hard work.
