Christopher Polk / Getty ImagesWhile some celebs shine a spotlight on their kiddos from the first ultrasound through their college graduation, others take a different approach. When privacy becomes an issue, these famous parents keep their little ones out of the public eye. Whether they absolutely refuse to post pics on social media or get creative with emojis, here are 15 celebrity moms and dads who won’t reveal their children’s identities online and why some stars just don’t care to share.1. Kristen Bell and her husband, Dax Shepherd, do more than just keep their kiddos out of social media posts. The celeb parents took a stand against paparazzi snapping pics of their kids (the couple has two daughters, Lincoln and Delta) early on. Over 12 years ago, the pair started the “No Kids” policy, telling Ellen DeGeneres in 2014, “We just wanted to kind of start a public conversation about the fact that children under no circumstance should be followed by strangers, with or without a camera.”

Jc Olivera / Getty ImagesOf their fame and their children, Bell added, “And we made these decisions that we became public figures, and we understand what’s going on, but they don’t…Minors deserve their anonymity until they choose otherwise.”

Axelle / Getty Images2. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher don’t want images of their children “out there.”

Christopher Polk / Getty ImagesBack in 2017, Ashton Kutcher told Arianna Huffington on the Thrive Global Podcast, “We don’t share any photos of our kids publicly because we actually feel like being public is a personal choice…My wife and I have chosen a career where we’re in the public light, but my kids have not.”

The actor added, “So, I think they should have the right to choose that, and I actually don’t think that they should have images of them as children that are out there,” and went on to say, “It’s their private life. It’s not mine to give away.”

Franco Origlia / Getty Images3. Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom does share pics of his kids online. But with one rule.

Thomas Cooper / Getty ImagesThe dad of two has two children: a 15-year-old son, Flynn, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, and a 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, with ex Katy Perry. And while he occasionally posts photos of both kiddos online, he doesn’t show their faces.

Ncp / Getty ImagesBloom gets creative, hiding Flynn and Daisy’s identities behind emojis and carefully orchestrated poses. In other words, you’ll see the back of their heads in most of Bloom’s family photos.

Taylor Hill / Getty Images4. Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are notoriously private about their family.

Sonia Recchia / Getty ImagesMendes and Gosling are parents to 11-year-old daughter Esmeralda and 10-year-old Amada. In 2020, Mendes explained to a fan in a since-deleted Instagram post, “I have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my man and my kids. I’ll talk about them, of course, with limits, but I won’t post pictures of our daily life.”

The Hapa Blonde / Getty ImagesLike other celebrity parents, Mendes feels her children need to give their okay first, explaining in her Instagram comment, “I won’t post their image until they’re old enough to give me consent.”

Nbc / Getty Images5. George Clonney is worried about safety.

Max Mumby / Getty ImagesGeorge and Amal Clooney are parents to nine-year-old twins Alexander and Ella. But you won’t see photos of these two anywhere. That’s because Clooney has taken a stand for the safety of his family.

Neil Mockford / Getty ImagesIn 2021, the actor explained to the media in an open letter, “I am a public figure and accept the oftentimes intrusive photos as part of the price to pay for doing my job. Our children have made no such commitment.”

6. Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are waiting until their children are old enough to decide for themselves.

Axelle / Getty ImagesThe actress and the performer are parents to 11-year-old Silas and five-year-old Phineas. Last year, Biel told InStyle, “It’s a tricky one, a tricky balance. We do try really hard not to expose them in a way that they’re not comfortable with.”

Jerritt Clark / Getty ImagesEven though Biel and Timberlake rarely share pics of their kiddos, Biel has posted a few family photos on Instagram over the years. But, like other celebrity parents who value privacy, she shields their faces.

Leon Bennett / Getty Images7. Mindy Kaling is another celebrity parent who is all about consent.

Tiffany Rose / Getty ImagesKaling opened up to PEOPLE in 2021, revealing, “I have no judgment for people in the public eye who share photos and videos of their children. My sense is that [my kids] have no real consent right now to do that.”

Jni / Getty ImagesFast forward to 2026, and Kaling does post the occasional pic or video of her kids (eight-year-old Katherine, five-year-old Spencer, and two-year-old Anne) on Instagram. But these shares are typically from the back, hiding her children’s faces.

Cindy Ord / Getty Images8. Adele wants her son Angelo to have a normal childhood.

Denise Truscello / Getty ImagesThe singer is incredibly protective of her child’s privacy. And for a very good reason. In 2014, then-one-year-old Angelo won a five-figure sum in a lawsuit against photo agency Corbix Images, U.K.

Adele’s attorney shared in a statement to the media at the time, “It is a matter of profound sadness that many of his milestone moments, such as his first family outing and his first trip to playgroup, were photographed and published worldwide expressly against his family’s wishes.”

Stefanie Keenan / Getty Images9. Gigi Hadid doesn’t want her daughter to worry about her public image.

James Devaney / Getty ImagesHadid, who shares a 5-year-old daughter, Khai, with Zayn Malik, opened up about keeping her kiddo private on her Instagram Stories in 2021, writing, “You know we have never intentionally shared our daughter’s face on social media. Our wish is that she can choose how to share herself with the world when she comes of age, and that she can live as normal of a childhood as possible, without worrying about a public image that she has not chosen.”

John Shearer / Getty ImagesHadid does post the rare photo of Khai on Instagram. But following in the footsteps of other celebs who aren't into “sharenting,” she doesn’t show the little girl’s face.

Axelle / Getty Images10. Ed Sheeran sets clear boundaries to keep his family safe.

Earl Gibson Iii / Getty ImagesThe musician and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, have two daughters: Kyra and Jupiter. Shheran told 60 Minutes Australia, “It’s a constant conversation if anyone takes pictures of my kids, I go up and have a conversation and go, “Please, can you delete it?” Like, we don’t have their images everywhere. And I’d really appreciate that.”

Paras Griffin / Getty ImagesOf course, sometimes his blunt directions backfire. Sheeran admitted that he’s had some “real arguments” when photographers kept snapping pics of his little ones.

Paras Griffin / Getty Images11. Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are on the same page.

Arturo Holmes / Getty ImagesBoth of these celeb parents keep their kiddos away from social media. The couple, who share six-year-old Raddix, two-year-old Cardinal, and infant Nautas, don’t post their family’s photos of their children online.

Kristina Bumphrey / Getty ImagesCase in point: when the third child, Nautas, was born, Madden shared a “One Piece”- style card announcement on Instagram instead of pics.

Dave Simpson / Getty Images12. Halle Berry crops out her children’s faces.

Berry shares her family’s life publicly. But she prefers to keep her children's faces private. The mom to 18-year-old Nahla (with Gabriel Aubry) and 12-year-old Maceo-Robert (with Olivier Martinez) posted an explanation when her children were younger, writing on Instagram, “I try to find creative ways to incorporate them into my feed because they are the biggest part of my life, but I also work very hard to keep their identities as private as I can considering they are only children.”

Xny / Getty ImagesOf course, now that daughter Nahla is 18, she has her own say on whether her photos are online.

Fjlon3 / Getty Images13. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra keep their 4-year-old daughter Malti’s face out of the public eye.

Jeff Kravitz / Getty ImagesIn March, Chopra explained on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, “As she’s growing older, so her baby pictures we didn’t like care as much, but as she’s growing older, we’ve started to also kind of just deflect a little bit.” But that doesn’t mean they’re sharing full photos of their kiddo online. The actress also said that the couple wants to “Let her have as much anonymity as she can.”

Axelle / Getty ImagesChopra added that they really don’t use emoji camouflage. Instead, “We just do pictures from the back of her head if we’re ever posting her.”

Brianna Bryson / Getty Images14. Julia Roberts waited until her children were older.

Sthanlee Mirador - Pa Images / Getty ImagesNow that Roberts' kids are adults (Hazel and Phinnaeus are 21, and Henry is 19), she has shared a few throwback pics. When her twins turned 19, Roberts dug up an old snapshot with her then-babies and posted it online.

Mike Coppola / Getty ImagesThe once-private parent who almost never shared images of her family online told Extra, “It is something to be celebrated, and I know Instagram is a place where people like to share happy things.” She added, “I love them so much, and I really did just happen to come upon this cute picture.”

Marc Piasecki / Getty Images15. And finally, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to another country to protect their family’s privacy.

Harold Cunningham / Getty ImagesThe Duke and Duchess of Sussex parted ways with the rest of the royals and stepped out of the spotlight. At least, sort of. While the couple does post pics of their children, seven-year-old Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lillibet, they carefully camouflage their kiddos’ faces.

Saeed Khan / Getty ImagesWhen critics slammed the mom for sharing photos on Instagram, Meghan clapped back. A spokesperson for the Duchess told Newsweek, “By obscuring their faces, she is demonstrating the very principle she advocates for: giving children privacy, agency, and protection in an increasingly digital world.”

Marvel Studios plans to bring Avengers: Endgame back to cinemas this September with a new cut titled Avengers: Endgame Encore. A new report now suggests the extended version will pack significantly more material than audiences first assumed for the rerelease.

Avengers: Endgame Encore rerelease rumored to have seven minutes of extra footage

The rerelease hits theaters on September 25, and industry insiders are already detailing what fans can expect, clocking in seven minutes longer than the original 2019 release. According to scooper @Cryptic4KQual, “I hear the Avengers: Endgame Encore will have a new intro, new bonus scenes, and the ending sequence will lead directly into Avengers: Doomsday,” the account posted. “Take with a grain of salt, but I’m also hearing it will be 7 minutes longer than the original.”

The seven-minute reported extension makes the Encore cut well beyond a simple nostalgia trip. This strategic expansion turns the Infinity Saga conclusion into a vital narrative bridge. Co-director Joe Russo previously framed the project as a “critical companion story.” “It’s critically important to re-release the movie, and, in fact, we’ll be re-releasing the film with footage that is set in the Doomsday story that we have added to Avengers: Endgame,” Russo explained (via Comic Book Movie).

Russo elaborated on the unique logic behind the theatrical return. “You don’t always get the chance to re-release because it costs money, so the fact that we can enhance the story of Doomsday by bridging it to Endgame and these characters that we worked with for years that we love so much, and continue their story: It’s a really unique opportunity.”

Avengers: Doomsday is releasing on December 18, 2026, with Secret Wars following on December 17, 2027. The cast list includes Robert Downey Jr., who returns to the Marvel universe, but this time as Doctor Doom. He joins a sprawling ensemble including Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Patrick Stewart, and Ian McKellen, bringing together the classic MCU with Fox-era X-Men characters.

Blake Lively has made her first public appearance following her absence from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s high-profile Madison Square Garden wedding.

The 38-year-old actress was spotted at the World Cup final in New Jersey, attending alongside her own close-knit group of friends, including Libby Glazer, Kendall Arin Glazer, and Emma Gray. Lively appeared in good spirits, smiling throughout the outing and showing no visible signs of the tension following Swift's wedding.

Her appearance comes just days after she was notably missing from Swift’s wedding guest list, which was an absence that has not gone unnoticed by fans, especially given the scale of the event and the pair’s long-standing friendship.

• Jon Stewart bursts into laughing fit over Donald Trump's gaffe on Fox News

• Madonna and Justin Bieber 'created real tension' ahead of first-ever World Cup Final halftime show

Once considered close friends, Lively’s absence has been widely viewed as a reflection of the strain caused by her legal battle with actor and director Justin Baldoni. Swift, who is the godmother to Lively’s three daughters, was reportedly pulled into the situation after being subpoenaed in the case, though the subpoena was later withdrawn.

According to a source, the fallout has left Lively deeply frustrated. “She is sad and a little bit p---ed. No, a lot p---ed,” the insider said. “That friendship was over before but if there was hope, it’s gone. They’ll never be friends again.”

The source added that Lively had hoped to attend the wedding despite the ongoing tension. “She wanted to go. It feels bad to be excluded like that. She had sort of hoped that despite everything, their history was enough that they’d be included, but that’s not the way it went.”

Another insider pointed out that the size of the wedding made her absence even more noticeable. “Madison Square Garden holds more than 20,000 people. If Blake isn’t there, nobody can blame a lack of space,” they said. “The guest list is so massive that Blake’s absence becomes impossible to ignore. People will notice immediately.”

They continued, “Taylor could invite practically everyone she’s ever known. That’s why Blake not getting an invite would speak volumes. This isn’t about logistics or capacity. If Blake is left off the list, it’s personal.”

“The bigger the wedding gets, the worse this looks for Blake,” the source added. “There will be movie stars, athletes, politicians, and music royalty in that arena. When Blake isn’t among them, that becomes one of the biggest stories of the night and Taylor knows it.”

In the days following the wedding, Lively was seen spending time in Canada with her husband Ryan Reynolds, keeping a relatively low profile before re-emerging at the World Cup final.

The tension between the former friends is believed to stem from Lively’s legal dispute with Baldoni, which began in December 2024 when she filed a lawsuit against him and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, alleging defamation and sexual harassment on the set of It Ends With Us. Baldoni denied the claims and filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively, Reynolds, and The New York Times, which had reported on the allegations.

All parties denied wrongdoing throughout the legal proceedings. In October 2025, a judge dismissed Baldoni’s countersuit, and in May of this year, Lively agreed to settle her remaining claims after most were dismissed. She did not receive financial compensation but was allowed to pursue legal fees related to Baldoni’s failed case.

Swift’s reported distancing from Lively followed her brief involvement in the dispute, as well as resurfaced text messages from Baldoni’s complaint in which Lively allegedly referred to Swift and Reynolds as “my dragons.” A source previously said, “Her friends also think that Blake’s ‘I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have dragons’ text to Justin was uncool and unnecessary because she was essentially used as an intimidation tactic. She was referred to as some kind of pet or possession.”
