Rihanna and A$AP Rocky became the subject of fresh internet speculation after a video from their post-Met Gala ride began circulating online. The couple, who attended fashion’s biggest night together, were photographed and filmed inside a sprinter van after leaving the star-packed event Monday evening. The pair appeared noticeably quiet and low-key, which quickly caught the attention of social media users.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s car conversation after Met Gala 2026 sparks feud rumors

In the now-viral video, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky appeared to be having a serious conversation while sitting together after the long gala. Their tired expressions and calm mood quickly led people online to wonder if they had been arguing behind the scenes. The internet started closely studying every look and facial expression in the video.

Some thought the interaction seemed tense, while others believed Rihanna and A$AP Rocky looked tired after hours of being in front of cameras, interviews, and public appearances. At one moment in the footage, Rihanna appeared to give a small smile as the couple walked back into their hotel.

One user joked, “We need a lip reader to tell us what’s being said.” Another person questioned, “Why is this ‘news’ worthy? Most people are tired after a big event.” Someone else pointed out, “Imagine having all those little kids….I’m sure they just wanna get home and sleep for a while before one of the babies wakes up.” Another viewer added, “This is very normal for couples. Why does it seem like an issue with celebrities?”

An insider claimed Rihanna and Rocky appeared relaxed together and were enjoying the night. The two have remained one of entertainment’s most closely watched couples since they first went public in 2020. Over the years, they have balanced music careers, fashion ventures, parenthood, and headline-making appearances while navigating intense public scrutiny. The couple has three children together: sons RZA and Riot, along with a daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers. The couple usually keeps their family life private.

Chris Faison and his former mentor Chris De Leon reunited as band leaders at the 31st annual Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition

Both instructors emphasized the importance of jazz as a communal art form and a way to teach values

The festival featured masterclasses, jam sessions, and opportunities for fostering connections among young musicians and mentors

Just a few years ago, Chris Faison was a high school senior performing at a prestigious jazz competition held at New York's Lincoln Center, with mentor Chris De Leon guiding the way.

This year, the duo returned to the 31st annual Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition & Festival — but this time as friendly rivals leading their own Florida jazz programs.

"As a freshman in high school, I was a decent saxophone player but I knew nothing about jazz. He introduced me to everything," Faison, who now leads Tarpon Springs High School in Tarpon Springs, Fla., says.

"The whole concept of jazz. What it is as an art form but also a communal aspect. We come to class and play music but there was a bigger, deeper meaning and culture behind it. And that's something that now myself as a teacher, it's a culture I try to promote in my own classroom," he continues.

Reflecting on De Leon's teachings, Faison says that the most important piece of advice he carries with him — and something he teaches to his students — is that jazz "should sound good but more importantly feel good."

Meanwhile, De Leon always knew that Faison had potential based on how talented, musical and expressive he was as a middle schooler.

"If I would tell him, 'Hey, go check this out,' he would go deep on that specific thing and he would obsessively listen to it and he was into it at a really, really high level and a really young age," De Leon says.

"I can say this with confidence: the success our band had in 2019 and 2020 had largely to do with him and his fellow leaders in the bands that were driving that energy," he continues.

Now, De Leon is proud of the man Faison has become.

"I'm proud of the human being he is to his kids. He inspires them. He works really, really hard. He pushes them. He's doing everything that I try to do with my students," he says, adding that he loves that he's passing the jazz tradition down.

At the festival, De Leon's band at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, Fla. finished in third place overall — though both instructors view the festival as a way to come together and celebrate the love of jazz.

"It's called a competition, but it's really a celebration of the music and the community. This is an oral tradition type of music, so if people weren't passing it down to the next generation, it wouldn't exist anymore. So it's a lot of love," De Leon says.

This year's festival took place from April 30 to May 2 and students participated in section-specific masterclasses, jam sessions with Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra members, pre-performance rehearsals, a celebratory dinner and more.

With Teacher Appreciation Day happening on Tuesday, May 5, both instructors reflected on the art of teaching — and what keeps them coming back.

"I don't think there's anything more American or more human than jazz because it teaches so many values about listening to somebody else and leaving space for somebody else to express their opinion, even if it's different than yours," De Leon says. "I think that it's really, really important that kids are exposed to this and understand how that's a part of life."

He continues, "When you're here, this place is magical. Kids get to see like-minded peers that look different, but have the same ambition, same drive in life to be really great at something, and they make these amazing connections. Nothing quite like this festival and how it connects people for life."

Faison adds, "This festival was the one thing that we went to where it felt like more than just a competition or the band with the most money. This is a place where every man loves each other and supports each other."

There’s nothing inherently wrong with having low intelligence. Sure, the person may have their fair share of difficulties, particularly when it comes to solving complex problems or managing daily tasks, but a lack of brainpower isn’t morally offensive.

It only becomes an issue when the individual in question comes off as obnoxious about their intellectual flaws. Like when they use TikTok as their primary source of information, refuse to hear other opinions, or the many other examples people shared in this recent Reddit thread.

If you think there are other things worth mentioning that aren’t on this list, feel free to add them in the comments below.

#1

Anyone that uses TikTok as their primary source of information and doesn’t try to look further into any subject.

#2

Not being able to understand that there is usually a lot of nuance in complicated topics. Believing pseudoscience over actual science is also a big one!

#6

When they try to make a point by just repeating themselves louder and louder.

#7

When they can't admit they're wrong about something small. Not the big stuff. Everyone struggles with that. But the little things like mispronouncing a word or remembering a date wrong. If you can't just say oh my bad and move on, that tells me you're more interested in being right than being accurate. Smart people are wrong all the time. They just don't stay wrong.

Being in public and being on a face time call watching a movie or listening to music with out head phones.

#39

Low intelligence is not the same as poorly educated. Someone can be extremely intelligent but not well educated, therefore their grammar, use of certain phrases may not come across as intelligent. I work with a broad variety of the public on a daily basis. For me, I can tell if somebody legitimately is low intelligence or has some cognitive impairment because it seems like they’re trying very hard to understand something but just can’t. I’ll explain something several times and I’ll walk away knowing they are going to try their best but only a little bit is going to be absorbed. I’ve also noticed low intelligence people seem to be attracted to other low intelligence people and vice versa with people of higher intelligence.

Arguing loud without knowing the facts.

#42

Bragging about their IQ.

#56

Believing in pseudo-sciencebelieving that price always correlates with quality.

#57

When they’re right even when they’re wrong. Accepting you were wrong in a debate is a sign of intelligence. Rejecting even the notion shows a lack thereof. You’re not standing up for what you believe in, you’re ignoring any evidence that disproves your original assessment.

#58

If they get angry over seemingly trivial things.

#59

#60

Constant Interruptions, not answering the question that was asked & answering with "but" and than.

#61

Most social media posts.

#62

Someone that only read the headline but is pretending to have read the entire article.

PEOPLE understood that the father and son would not meet up during the monarch's time stateside

Prince Harry popped out for lunch in Los Angeles following his father King Charles' visit to the United States.

On May 4, the Duke of Sussex, 41, stepped out for lunch with friends at Nobu in Los Angeles. The King's younger son dressed casually for the daytime outing, sporting a green khaki shirt with dark pants.

Prince Harry slipped on sunglasses outside of the hotspot in Los Angeles, which is about an hour and a half from Montecito, where he lives with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.

Harry's lunch outing fell a few days after his father traveled to the U.S. for a highly anticipated state visit.

King Charles, 77, and Queen Camilla, 78, were in America from Monday, April 27, to Thursday, April 30, making the trip to commemorate the nation's 250th anniversary with stops in Washington, D.C., New York City and Virginia. From there, the King continued his travels in North America with a solo trip to Bermuda from Friday, May 1, to Saturday, May 2.

PEOPLE exclusively revealed that the King and Prince Harry would not meet up during the monarch's time stateside, with any suggestion unrealistic given the tightly choreographed nature of the trip.

"When you’re talking about a state visit, every minute is accounted for — especially when it’s the King traveling as the invited guest of a head of state," a source told PEOPLE.

The insider added that Harry would not be expected to push for a meeting under those circumstances, noting that there was an understanding on both sides.

"Harry knows how things are and wouldn’t ask for that either under these circumstances," the source said.

A rift has split the British royal family in recent years, with tensions revealed when Prince Harry and Meghan, 44, stepped back from their royal roles in the U.K. in 2020 to carve an independent life.

The Duke of Sussex and King Charles most recently reunited in London in September 2025 during Harry's trip to the U.K. for charitable engagements. It marked their first in-person meeting in 19 months. The father and son last saw each other in February 2024 when Harry visited his dad after Buckingham Palace announced that the King was undergoing treatment for cancer, which continues today.

Prince Harry and Meghan have dedicated their time to charitable and commercial work since they stepped back from their royal roles in 2020, and PEOPLE explores how the couple is rewriting the royal rules in an exclusive cover story.

For some inside palace circles, the overlap between profit and philanthropy remains deeply contentious.

“They are pushing the envelope and making it much more difficult for reconciliation to happen,” says Sally Bedell Smith, author of the Royals Extra Substack.

However, a source close to Harry pushed back, "This idea that he’s going against the wishes of the Queen [Elizabeth] by being half in, half out is nonsense. None of this is being done in the name of the institution."

Severe weather is again in play this first full week of May in the South, including cities such as Dallas, Austin and Houston through Wednesday.

These areas were just some of the areas that got hit at the end of April, continuing the trend of the central U.S. seeing active severe weather since March.

(RECAP: End Of April Severe Weather Outbreak)

The Forecast

Tuesday

Northeast Texas, southeast Oklahoma and much of Arkansas into western Tennessee are in the bull's-eye for the strongest storms. That includes cities like Dallas, Little Rock and Memphis.

The main threats are large hail (possibly over golf ball size), damaging wind gusts and a tornado or two.

This threat is expected to last well into the evening.

Wednesday

We expect clusters of severe thunderstorms over parts of the South from the Tennessee Valley to the lower Mississippi Valley and eastern Texas from the afternoon into the evening hours. That includes cities such as Birmingham, Jackson and Shreveport.

Damaging wind gusts and hail, possibly larger than golf balls, are possible in these storms. Some tornadoes are also possible, especially if discrete supercell thunderstorms are able to form in the lower Mississippi Valley (northern Louisiana, southern Arkansas into Mississippi).

Again, this severe threat is expected to last well into the evening in the Deep South.

Heavy Rainfall, Too

These storms will also wring out some locally heavy rainfall over parts of the South, much of which is experiencing some sort of drought.

Widespread 1-3 inches of rainfall is expected, a good amount for soils to be able to handle the absorption process. We need more days like this to continue to chip away at the longstanding drought.

However, we can't rule out local flash flooding in a few spots, where heavy rain falls too quickly, as we saw last week in places like Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The Setup

There are a couple of factors that are all coming together for this severe weather. We have a subtropical jet that is traveling across the southern U.S. This jet will help enhance moisture across the South.

There will also be a southward plunge of the northern jet stream, known as a trough, coming over the Rockies. The conditions will be favorable for a low-pressure system to form between these upper winds.

That trough will bring in unseasonably cool air while the subtropical jet will enhance the warm, moist air over the South. The clash of these air masses is a classic setup for May, the busiest month for tornadoes on average.

Drag is magic. But it's also tragic if you're Ariel Versace on the receiving end of a hilarious pop off in the midst of Wig Gate.

*RuPaul's Drag Race* season 11 winner Yvie Oddly and Miss Congeniality Nina West stopped by the most recent episode of *EW's BINGE* podcast to tell hosts Joey Nolfi and Jillian Sederholm about a particularly testy, unaired moment that saw the latter queen — regarded as one of the kindest, gentlest souls in the RuGirl family — losing it in the middle of the season's most peculiar controversies.

"Wig Gate was such a big thing for our season," West said, as Oddly chimed in about the "so stupid" moment that, in the simplest of terms, sort of (but then later sort of didn't) involve various queens being accused of stealing Versace's wigs after her elimination. Tensions flared up over the confusion when the previously eliminated queens returned to the Werk Room for the perennial makeover challenge. "I completely lost my cool. All of those girls came back on my elimination episode," West recalls. "At this point, I was really raw. I had a feeling that this just might be my time, I was like, I think I'm going home. It was right when those girls walked in, and Ariel looked over at my station and she goes, 'That's my wig!' and I completely lost my s---. I don't think there were any cameras on me. I was like, I don't know why she would accuse me of stealing, I don't need to steal! Ariel and I have obviously talked about it since, because I popped off as the most Nina West pop off I've ever done."

Oddly also remembers the moment with a laugh, mimicking West's tone as she delivered a fatal, verbal blow to Versace after the accusation: "You cut her off immediately like, 'No, no, no, no, sweetie! That's *my* wig. It, unfortunately, *looks* like it's styled like one of your wigs!'"

Elsewhere on the episode, Oddly discusses an update on her overall health and the status of her Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, what her hot dad has been up to in quarantine, the difficulties queens of color face after graduating from the show, and another tense moment with that dreaded magician who guest-starred on the magic show challenge episode.
