Foster stunned in a gold metallic one-shoulder gown with gathered material at the front and a subtle slit. She accessorized with jewelry by Fred Leighton. Jackman kept things simple, opting for a classic black tux and silver brooch pin.

Monday's appearance marked Foster's Met Gala debut. Jackman, meanwhile, is a seasoned attendee of the star-studded event — which, this year, features the dress code "Fashion is Art," a reflection of the Met's spring 2026 exhibition titled "Costume Art."

This year's dress code is intentionally open-ended, encouraging guests to treat clothing as a form of artistic expression and use the body as a canvas. Tied to the exhibition's focus on the “dressed body,” the theme invites designers and celebrities to explore how fashion interacts with form, rather than simply recreating famous artworks.

Jackman made his first solo Met Gala appearance back in 2024 in a simple black-and-white tuxedo — his go-to look for the annual event.

The solo appearance marked a departure for the star, who previously attended the event several times alongside his ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness. The former couple made their debut at the event in 2004.

Sir Keir Starmer said attempts by Iran to destabilise British society “will not be tolerated” amid suspicion Tehran could be stirring up antisemitism.

The prime minister told a roundtable in Downing Street that the government was investigating whether foreign states could be behind recent attacks on the Jewish community in the UK.

Speaking to leaders of community groups, senior government ministers and police chiefs following a knife attack in Golders Green last week, Sir Keir warned there would be “consequences” if Iran was found to be responsible.

“One of the lines of inquiry is whether a foreign state has been behind some of these incidents,” he said.

“We are investigating, of course, all the possibilities. And we are clear that these actions will have consequences if that proves to be the case.

“Our message to Iran, or to any other country that might seek to foment violence, hatred or division in society, is that it will not be tolerated.”

Describing the situation as a “crisis” in the wake of the attack in north London last week, Sir Keir said new legislation would be rushed through to tackle “malign threats”.

The government has promised a new law to allow it to take action against state-backed groups amid calls for the proscription of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Sir Keir told the meeting that although essential, security is “not enough”, as he vowed to “deal with the forces that drive this hatred in the first place”.

“We’re clear-eyed about the fact that antisemitism does not have one source alone: Islamists, far left, far right extremism, all target Jewish communities,” he said.

“That is why this government has put in place the first co-ordinated national plan to strengthen cohesion and confront extremism in all of its forms.”

Jewish communities across England are set to receive an extra £1 million of government funding to pay for community safety work and projects aimed at countering antisemitic narratives.

The funding follows the £25 million announced last week in response to the attack in Golders Green to provide more security for the community.

Two Jewish men, Shloime Rand, 34, and Norman Shine, 76, were stabbed during a knife rampage through the streets of the north London suburb last week.

Alleged attacker Essa Suleiman, 45, appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday and was remanded in custody.

The attack, which has been declared a terror incident by police, is the latest in a string of violent incidents against Jewish people.

The location of the attacks is near where four Jewish community ambulances were destroyed by fire in late March.

At a roundtable of senior figures from the police, representatives from the arts, higher education, trade unions and businesses on Tuesday, Sir Keir said the government has ordered an independent audit of how allegations of antisemitism are handled.

“This will be a hard-edge review of where systems are failing,” he said. “We will not, and cannot, accept complacency, delays or weak enforcement, and where inconsistency is found, it will be challenged and addressed swiftly.”

He also promised new action to implement a “zero tolerance” approach to antisemitism on university campuses and action in the arts.

Universities will now be expected to “demonstrate action” to tackle antisemitism among students, while the Arts Council will be expected to withdraw funding and claw it back from anyone who is found to promote antisemitism.

“Possibly the most respectable thing Cassie Howard has done throughout the entire series,” one X user said.

Another wrote, “She has been through a lot lately, and I totally understand the decision taken here.”

However, many fans were unimpressed, arguing her choice wasn’t respectable as she was allegedly selling her body for money.

Some also pointed to a later scene where she seduces a social media star using controlled substances to boost her following. As a result, some viewers found Cassie’s storyline disturbing and questioned her choices.

One fan commented, “No, because she left to get into something worse.”

“She went off to sell photos to pay the debt, what’s respectable about that?” a second asked.

Despite backlash, fans hail episode 4 as the best of Euphoria season 3

The continuation of Cassie’s controversial storyline received backlash from a section of the audience, which reflected in the episode’s IMDb rating. The fourth episode reportedly debuted with a 5.2/10 score, making it the lowest-rated entry of the season.

However, the rating has since climbed to a respectable 7.4/10, making it the second-best episode behind last week’s wedding.

On X, many fans called it the season’s best episode, largely because it reunites the core cast: Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow.

“Tbh it’s been the episode where the most happens, and it’s actually very entertaining,” one fan said.

Another commented, “This is literally the only interesting episode so far.”

Season 3 will continue releasing new episodes every Sunday, with the finale set for May 31, 2026.

Tori Spelling is sharing what it was like to watch Love Story alongside her kids

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum spoke with PEOPLE about meeting FX star Sarah Pidgeon and what she enjoyed about the series

Tori Spelling says watching Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette took her right back to the '90s.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 52, caught up with PEOPLE on Friday, May 1 as she reflected on her love of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and meeting Sarah Pidgeon (who played Carolyn in Love Story).

“Meeting Sarah... was amazing. She’s so iconic," Spelling told PEOPLE at the Calamigos Ranch Resort & Spa Leading Hotels of the World Accreditation Celebration.

"I definitely love the fashion," she adds of the FX series. "It took me to some really good memories through the ’90s, so it was nice to reflect back on that and watch it with a new generation and my teens."

As Spelling explains, it was "really cool to be able to tell them stories about going through that time era and making it current now.” Spelling, who shares her five kids with ex Dean McDermott, also revealed that her kids are fascinated with '90s fashion themselves. The actress is mom to teens Liam, 19, Stella, 17, Hattie, 14, Finn, 13, and also 9-year-old Beau.

"My kids are really into fashion, every single one of them in a different way," she says. "Fashion is about how it makes you feel. I think it’s about finding your unique perspective. It can be anything."

Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, which premiered on FX on Feb. 12, stars Pidgeon and Paul Anthony Kelly as John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. It follows the pair's romance in the years leading up to their tragic deaths in a 1999 plane crash. Other stars include Naomi Watts as Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Grace Gummer as Caroline Kennedy, Alessandro Nivola as Calvin Klein, Leila George as Kelly Klein, Sydney Lemmon as Lauren Bessette and Constance Zimmer as Ann Marie Messina.

Pidgeon, 29, recently told PEOPLE that portraying the late fashion icon in the series, which wrapped in March, had her "in constant pursuit of trying to evoke her essence and stay true to the character that I had built off of all the research that I did."

"So I think that was my way of honoring her — a constant pursuit of feeling like I was trying to be as truthful as possible with the script and then the knowledge that I had of her and marrying those together," Pidgeon told PEOPLE at Disney’s Toast to Television red carpet.

The actress also revealed that she "learned a lot" from her experience in Love Story, calling it "really great to play a young woman with so much sort of ferocity in her protection of her friendships, her private life."

"She had very strong opinions, very self-possessed, and I don’t know if Sarah always exhibits those qualities," she said. "And to be able to embody someone with the fearlessness that she did that she had... I hope that it rubbed off on me. I mean, it was wonderful to be able to play that sort of without abandon.”

Fallon's personality and comedy style have always had a flavor of awkwardness, but chewing on an interviewer's microphone at an F1 race wasn't a move anyone could have seen coming.

As for the Miami Grand Prix itself, it was ultimately rescheduled on Sunday after some nasty storms and heavy rainfall pushed through the area earlier in the day. Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes took the top spot on the podium, while McLaren's Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri finished second and third, respectively.

Max Verstappen, the Red Bull racer Fallon said he was pulling for, finished in the five spot.
