Following the announcement that Steinfeld and her husband, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, welcomed their first baby together, the Sinners star's family shared their excitement for the new addition to the family.

In the comment section of the announcement on Steinfeld's official Substack Instagram, her mom Cheri Steinfeld, dad Peter Steinfeld and brother Griffin Steinfeld shared that they're "officially clocked in" and ready to assume their respective responsibilities.

"Cha Cha officially clocked in!!!💕," her mom wrote, revealing her chosen grandma name. Similarly, her dad chimed in saying, "Pop Pop officially clocked in!!😊❤️."

Following his parents' lead, Griffin, 32, who's a professional race car driver, commented, "Uncle Griffin officially clocked in!!❤️❤️😎🫡."

Steinfeld first announced that she welcomed her baby girl with her husband in a post on her Substack, titled "Special Delivery."

"Our baby girl has arrived!!" Steinfeld wrote in the newsletter. "We're feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes."

On Friday, April 3, Steinfeld shared a brief update in another Substack post, writing, "Thank you for all your kind words and messages yesterday! To say we are unbelievably happy and in love with this baby girl would be an understatement.I'm soaking in the newborn bliss, but I'll still be writing here every week."

Back in December, Steinfeld and Allen shared the news that they were expecting their first baby together. The actress shared a round-up of her 29 favorite moments from the past year in her Substack newsletter in honor of her 29th birthday.

At the end of her list, Steinfeld included a video that announced her pregnancy. In the clip, she could be seen posing in the snow while posing with her pregnant belly around her husband Allen, who kissed her stomach.

The couple later shared the video in a joint Instagram post. In the comments, Allen wrote, "I love you ❤️."

In a January press conference, Allen revealed he was excited to be a dad and is looking forward to that next chapter in his life with Steinfeld.

"It's something that I will take with great pride. And we're going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else," he said. "But this is the most important thing I'll ever be in my life, being a dad. And I know I love being a football player, and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. But I'm looking forward to this one."

Steinfeld has also shared her thoughts about motherhood. In a blog post titled "Getting ducks in a row" for her Substack Beau Society, she revealed how her mindset has changed as she prepared to welcome a child into the world.

"While tuning in, I've experienced this surreal, full-body awareness that our world is about to expand in beautiful ways. We're getting ready to meet someone we already love so much," she said. "I've racked my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don't have them yet. Maybe that's the point. For now, I'm blessed to be settling into the feeling."

Steinfeld and Allen, who first started dating in 2023, tied the knot in Santa Barbara, Calif., on May 31.

The invasion is returning to a small screen near you thanks to Ryan Coogler!

The Oscar-winning filmmaker is executive producing an Animorphs TV series currently in early development at Disney+, Entertainment Weekly has learned. Coogler will serve as an executive producer alongside Proximity Media partners Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler, with Iole Lucchese and Caitlin Friedman executive producing for Scholastic. The children's book publisher is the original distributor of K. A. Applegate's 54-book youth sci-fi series, initially published between 1996 and 2001.

The Testaments and The Summer I Turned Pretty scribe Bayan Wolcott has been attached to write and executive produce the series for 20th Television. Proximity Media's Simone Harris, vice president and head of TV, and Dezi Gallegos, director of TV development, will also oversee the project.

The show's official logline reads, "Animorphs follows a group of teenagers who uncover a hidden threat lurking beneath their everyday lives, all while juggling relationships, curfews, and the chaos of high school."

The beloved book series, created by Katherine Applegate and her husband Michael Grant, followed a group of teenagers — Jake, Marco, Cassie, Rachel, and Tobias — who gain the ability to morph into any animal they touch after meeting a dying alien of the Andalite race. They learn that the Andalite has been fighting a parasitic alien race known as Yeerks, who are looking to take over the Earth in a bid to expand their empire across the galaxy.

The teens unite to use their powers within a secret resistance against the Yeerks and to save the world. Casual after-school activities.

The chapter books were first adapted for TV for a live-action series that aired on Nickelodeon for two seasons, from 1998 to 2000. The series starred X-Men actor Shawn Ashmore, Brooke Nevin, Boris Cabrera, Nadia Nascimento, and Christopher Ralph as the titular animorphs. Paulo Costanzo later joined the cast as Ax, a young Andalite stranded on Earth.

The news of Coogler's latest comes after the filmmaker won Best Original Screenplay at the 2026 Oscars for his critically acclaimed vampire period piece, Sinners. Fellow collaborator Autumn Durald Arkapaw also became the first woman to win Best Cinematography in Academy Awards history, while Ludwig Göransson picked up his third Oscar for Best Original Score.

And the film's leading man, Michael B. Jordan, took home the trophy for Best Actor after playing both twins Smoke and Stack.

The series is the second project under Coogler and Proximity Media's TV overall deal with Disney. The director's other project, a reboot of The X Files starring Danielle Deadwyler and Himesh Patel, was given the green light for a pilot by Hulu in February.

Original series star Gillian Anderson has praised Coogler's vision for the new series, telling fans that the project is "different" and "special," so fans should "give it a break."

"We've had a few conversations," Anderson said of Coogler during an appearance at Awesome Con. "He's such a cool guy, and so talented. And the pilot script is really good. I would say, have an open mind and give it a chance, because it's gonna be f---ing cool. It really is."

Lead actress Ferreira opens up to PEOPLE about working with Charli, and reveals that the duo have been friends for years

Charli's role in Faces of Death is the first she ever filmed, and she worked with director Daniel Goldhaber to shape the character

Barbie Ferreira is used to being in the crowd at Charli xcx's concerts, but sharing the screen with the pop star is a different story — and an "honor."

In the new horror movie Faces of Death, the Euphoria alum, 29, and musician, 33, play two content moderators with differing viewpoints. Ferreira leads the film as Margot, and shares a few scenes with Charli, playing the morbidly curious Gabby, whom she butts heads with.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Ferreira says it was "really cool" joining forces with Charli for the feature — which, shot in 2023, technically marking the pop star's first-ever film role — and reveals that the stars have had an off-screen friendship for years.

"I love Charli so much. We've been friends for a very long time, so it was just really cool to work with a friend who I admire and I've always been a huge fan of her music," Ferreira tells PEOPLE, citing her love for Charli's debut LP True Romance, as well as her 2021 appearance on the singer's former BBC Radio 1 podcast series, Best Song Ever.

"So it was really cool to work with her because, obviously, we are in two very vastly different worlds," Ferreira continues, "and I'm used to going to her concerts with my friends and kind of being in her element. And she got to kind of step into like the film element. It was her first time."

The actress adds that it was particularly "cool" to work alongside the musician because they shot just before the 2024 release of Brat catapulted Charli to a new level of superstardom.

"It was really cool to see such a huge pop star at the precipice of this huge moment for her," Ferreira tells PEOPLE, "because she's been such a talented artist for so long, but Brat Summer was really like, 'Wow, she did her big one,' you know?"

"And so it was really cool to work with her. She's such a star and she's just like an incredible performer onstage, offstage," the Euphoria alum says — and she has the concert track record to prove it.

Says Ferreira, "I love going to her shows. I've been to maybe 500 of her Brat shows. I've brought my mom to one in Montreal about the whole cast of Mile End Kicks to one in Montreal. I have the L.A. ones, New York ones, like … I'm just a huge fan, so I was so honored that she wanted to be in the movie."

Faces of Death, which incorporates the 1978 mondo horror film of the same name, was directed by Daniel Goldhaber, who also co-wrote the film with Isa Mazzei. Speaking with PEOPLE, Goldhaber explains that Charli joined the cast because she "was a fan" of his first film, 2018's Cam.

The pop trailblazer, the director recalls, saw that "the movie was getting made and she reached out and was like, 'Hey, can I be in Faces of Death?' And I was like, 'Yes. There is one role we haven't cast. Would you like to play it?' And she was like, 'Great.' "

For her "first real role in a movie," Charli had a ton of control over Gabby, from her clothes to her American accent, the latter of which Goldhaber says was the singer's idea: "That was all her."

"Charli came in and had a very specific idea of what she wanted her wardrobe for Gabby to be," the director says. "She was like, 'I wanna have Marla Singer from Fight Club vibes in this movie.' And I was like, "Great.' … that's just how I like to work with people."

Beyond Faces, Charli's film credits already include The Gallerist, 100 Nights of Hero and The Moment (a mockumentary about her experience during the Brat release), as well as forthcoming projects Erupcja, I Want Your Sex, Dakota Johnson's directorial debut A Tree Is Blue and an untitled project from director Takashi Miike.

Ferreira, meanwhile, appears on the big screen in two projects releasing in April, Faces and Mile End Kicks.

Kylie Jenner opened up about her famed Halloween costumes and corresponding photo shoots that she's become known for on the spooky holiday each year; however, she dropped the scary truth about them moving forward.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 28, revealed on the Big Bro with Kid Cudi podcast that those all-out, elaborate costumes for Halloween are behind her due to the cost it takes to put them and the photo shoots together.

"The amount of money I spend on not only the costumes but the photo shoots, I've retired it," she said of her maximal-effort Halloween looks. "I can't be doing this every year... It's a whole thing," she added.

The topic arose when host Kid Cudi and Jenner were discussing how they met. While they pinpointed their initial link at the Hunger Games premiere, they recalled the "crazy-ass Halloween parties" that they both attended in the years that followed.

"Lots of crazy Halloween parties. You have the best costumes," the makeup mogul told the Grammy winner, who said he's "definitely" done his "best work" at her bashes thrown for the spooky holiday.

Jenner has raised the bar on her Halloween costumes, managing to level up her looks each and every year. She also often pulled out several elaborate disguises during one holiday weekend!

Jenner's retirement from her elaborate costumes seems to have begun in 2025. The year prior, she unveiled a few unrecognizable looks and corresponding shoots that go down in the Halloween history books.

The businesswoman transformed into Demi Moore's 1996 Striptease character, Erin Grant, for one of her many costumes in 2024. She posed in two looks to pay tribute to the Andrew Bergman-directed film, one of which was a recreation of its movie poster.

Moore shared the post on her Instagram Stories, writing, "Love this!!" She also posted her version of the movie poster, writing, "Nailed it @kyliejenner 🎯.

Clearly, Jenner is known for pulling out all the stops for Halloween.

In 2019, she wowed as Ariel from The Little Mermaid, a costume that accompanied at least five others from that year. She had a sexy take on the ensemble, from a sequined, scale-like green skirt with a high slit to a purple shell bra top.

SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — A former guitarist for Grammy-winning Baltimore hardcore band Turnstile has been charged with attempted murder after authorities say he chased down and struck a former bandmate's father with his car, badly injuring him.

Montgomery County police officers responding to a Sunday report about a pedestrian being struck in the Washington, D.C., suburb of Silver Spring found William Yates, the 79-year-old father of lead singer Brendan Yates, injured in a front yard, according to charging documents.

Yates' family said guitarist Brady Ebert, a neighbor who parted ways with the band several years ago, had struck him with a car, police wrote. Yates' daughter, Erin Gerber, told authorities that she and her husband were getting their kids out of their car when Ebert drove up honking at them and yelling obscenities, then drove into her father.

In video footage obtained from a neighbor, Ebert could be seen driving a gold Buick LeSabre and swerving toward William Yates but missing him, according to the charging documents. Yates then threw a rock at Ebert's vehicle and Gerber dragged her 3-year-old son onto the lawn to avoid being hit. Ebert then turned sharply into Yates' driveway and struck him as he was trying to run away, investigators wrote. Ebert finally drove across the lawn and left.

Yates told a detective that as he was injured on the ground, Ebert returned and yelled that he "deserved it" before driving off again, according to charging documents.

Yates said Ebert used to be in a band with his son and had been causing problems for his family since being kicked out. He said Ebert had been taunting them for long time, but that his behavior had been escalating.

Ebert, 33, was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault, court records show.

During a bond hearing Thursday in which he appeared via video, Ebert called William Yates a "maniac" who threw a rock at him asked the judge to watch the surveillance footage, saying it would "contradict" the authorities' narrative of what happened, The Baltimore Banner reported.

But prosecutor Dominic Plantamura said the footage shows it was a "clearly targeted attack" and that Yates is lucky he wasn't injured more seriously.

Ebert's lawyer, John Costello, acknowledged Ebert's contentious history with his former bandmate, but said, "That does not, in this instance, warrant extra detention." Costello's office declined to comment to The .

The judge ordered Ebert held without bond.

According to Plantamura, William Yates was injured so badly that a bone stuck out of one leg.

In a statement, Turnstile said it cut ties with Ebert in 2022, "in response to a consistent pattern of harmful behavior." It said a boundary had to be set after he began threatening violence. While Ebert's "baseless tirades" continued in public since then, the band said it didn't address them to protect his privacy. Threats escalated in recent months and then there was a physical attack on Brendan Yates' father this week, the band wrote.

"We are grateful that Mr. Yates survived, has successfully undergone surgery, and we're hoping for the best possible outcome in his recovery," the band said. "We have no language left for Brady."

Turnstile were underground stalwarts until their 2021 album "Glow On" launched them into mainstream consciousness. They cemented their status this year by winning Grammys for Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance.

Here's what to know about Simone Henault, the seemingly new woman in Chris Rock's life.

Per her LinkedIn, Henault attended St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, from 2009 to 2013.

She earned a bachelor's degree in public relations, advertising and applied communication.

At the time of a 2021 interview with Max Effort, Henault was based in Austin. According to the profile, she has "roots in New Orleans and New York."

She worked at Google

Henault was a creative producer at Google from 2021 to 2025, per her LinkedIn. At the tech company she was part of the Waze team.

Prior to Google, she was a senior creative producer at brand agency 19th & Park Inc., The Fader and Cornerstone Agency.

In early 2026, Henault announced she was starting a new chapter in her career.

"After years creating within incredible teams, I'm now focused on connecting brands, artists, and global communities through culture, experience, and vision," she wrote in a LinkedIn post. "Open to collaborations, direction projects, cultural advisory, and partnerships in art, music, fashion, wellness, and global lifestyle."

She is a DJ, creative producer and content strategist

According to her Instagram bio, Henault is a a DJ, creative producer and content strategist.

Henault has DJed at exclusive social clubs such as Shoreditch House in London and Soho House, and at various events around Los Angeles. She also shares her love for music through playlists called Monafide Soul Series on Spotify.

"Looking back on all the sets I had an opportunity to do around LA and I can't wait for more," she captioned a November 2025 Instagram post. "Thank you for everyone who danced with me and allowed me to explore a full range of sounds. Feeling invigorated and energized about what's to come, stay tuned 💭🤍."

She and Rock were spotted together in March 2026

In early March 2026, Rock and Henault were seen leaving Giorgio Baldi, an upscale Italian restaurant in Santa Monica, Calif.

Later that month, the pair were spotted again in New York City, where they were photographed holding hands and kissing in a park in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan.

She has a Substack and she enjoys traveling

In addition to being a DJ and creative producer, Henault has been an "avid writer" in her journals since she was 12.

"It's always provided me a safe space to reflect on my thoughts, make sense of the world around me, and speak my dreams and visions into fruition," she posted on Instagram in January 2026.

Henault has shared her writing via a Substack. In 2024, she wrote about her first experience attending the Burning Man festival, and her most recent Substack article was posted in January 2026, in which she wrote about "the art of the Yearly Recap."

Henault also loves to travel, posting pics from her international trips on her Instagram, and even revealing some of her "travel essentials."

"These are some of the things that always bring me back to myself while I move through new places," she wrote in a June 2025 Instagram post about what she packs.

Both Selena Gomez and Olivia Rodrigo wore girly pink minidresses with contrasting white accents yesterday.

Rodrigo had on a Peter Pan-collared dress for her third album's cover art.

Gomez, meanwhile, chose a satin-pink Prada minidress for Rare Beauty's event that evening.

Just hours after Olivia Rodrigo released the cover art for her third album, which featured her in a pink Peter Pan-collared minidress, Selena Gomez went out in her own girly pink look from Prada's spring 2026 collection. The Rare Beauty founder stepped out for her brand's True To Myself Natural Matte Longwear Foundation L.A. launch event, wearing a satin minidress with a white embellished neckline. She accessorized with hoop earrings and white heels.

Rodrigo's dress also had contrasting white accents with its folded sleeves and bold collar. Fans noted it was similar to the dress she wore on Saturday Night Live in 2023:

This isn't Rodrigo's first pink minidress of the season, either. She wore a more formal pale-pink look from Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party last month:

While minidresses are a staple for celebrities in warmer weather, Rodrigo and Gomez's matching pink moment hints at the color having a girly comeback this spring. Last year, a paler version of the hue—ballet pink—was on the rise as fashion lovers embraced balletcore.

Gomez's appearance comes weeks after she spoke to People about her current beauty era, describing it as "classic, maybe a little hot. I feel flirty," she said. "I still feel young, I think. I like a little flirty, classic look."

She also reflected on her broader career plans, telling the outlet that she feels empowered when she's "doing work within my community. I think that's the best part is being able to connect with people and that's what I'm so excited about. This next era will be very much me just embracing everyone, hopefully."

Her beauty brand's newly launched matte foundation was literally years in the making. Rare Beauty shared photos of Gomez testing the product not just during her September 2025 wedding but also as far back as April 2024 during her NBA game date with Benny Blanco:
