Zendaya, Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon stunned on various red carpets for "The Odyssey."

Christopher Nolan's latest film "The Odyssey" has received a lot of controversy online, but the stars of the project are still bringing their fashion A-game to the press tour.

Zendaya has continuously stunned on the red carpet as she channeled her inner Greek goddess, while Anne Hathaway styled her pregnant belly beautifully in various flowing gowns.

Despite backlash over her casting, Lupita Nyong'o crushed it on the red carpet, whether she's in a floor-length sheer gown or in an asymmetrical short white dress.

Nolan is in hot water for many of his decisions in the making of the film, including casting choices, historical inaccuracies throughout and use of modern dialogue.

Here are some of the best looks from "The Odyssey" press tour.

Zendaya stunned in a backless white dress with a halter neckline, which she paired with a white headscarf.

Fresh off the "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" press tour, Zendaya stepped onto the carpet at a series of events promoting "The Odyssey," in a whole new batch of jaw-dropping looks.

She started off the new press tour channeling her character in the movie, Athena, in a loose-fitting white Jacquemus gown with a halter neckline and a dramatic low back.

The actress paired the look with a white headscarf and a diamond ring, but the true star of the show were her gold disk earrings, which are reportedly 2,000 to 3,000 years old, dating back to the first millennium.

Her stylist, Law Roach, posted a video from the red carpet on Instagram, and fans could not help but gush over the look. One fan wrote, "Can't possibly be more stunning," while another added, "I am more excited about what she’s going to wear next than anything I have ever worn. I would like to request a coffee table book."

Zendaya walked the carpet at the premiere of the movie in a white dress with a structured torso and fringe skirt.

Zendaya followed that look with another stunning gown at the world premiere of the movie in London, England.

The Schiaparelli dress featured a sculpted bodice with mirrored details, a lace-up back and a halter neckline, made to resemble ancient Greek statues, as an homage to the themes of the film.

From there, the dress transitioned into a loose beaded hombre skirt with fringe, which went from white, to gray and then blue.

Her stylist went through a lot to ensure Zendaya was able to wear this dress, which had just made its debut at the fashion houses runway show a few days before, telling fans on Instagram he traveled to Paris on a private jet to personally pick up the dress for the actress for the premiere.

Zendaya walked the carpet at the Paris premiere of the film in a white dress with ruffles and a cutout on her abs.

The "Euphoria" star did not disappoint when she walked the red carpet at the Paris premiere of the film in yet another white dress, this one featuring sheer lace.

Zendaya posed for photos in a sheer white dress with a large cutout on the torso showcasing her toned abs. It also featured a thigh-high slit, as well as large ruffles along the sleeves and on her shoulders.

She paired the look with white pumps, a statement necklace and a few rings, and styled her hair in an updo with a braid across the top of her head. She kept her makeup look natural, except for blue eyeshadow and dramatic eyeliner.

Roach shared a video of Zendaya at the event on Instagram, with fans writing, "PLEASEEEEEEEEEE let us breathe for just one moment law," and "Gets better and better ❤️."

Hathaway turned heads when she walked the carpet in a white mini dress with a halter neckline and ruffles.

Anne Hathaway turned heads when she arrived to the London photocall for "The Odyssey" in a flowing white dress.

The pregnant star posed for photos in a white, off-the-shoulder Blumarine Resort gown with a halter neckline and sheer balloon sleeves, with ruffles which flowed down to the ground.

She styled the look with brown knee-high suede boots, mini gold hoop earrings, a gold watch and multiple gold rings. She kept her makeup natural, and wore her long brunette locks down her back in a center part.

Hathaway posed for photos in a flowing blue dress with a floral embellishment.

The "Devil Wears Prada" actress sported another flowy dress at the London premiere of the movie.

Hathaway, who announced she was pregnant with her third child in mid-June, posed for photos in a strapless blue Dior gown with a pleated skirt and a floral embellishment on the chest.

"I saw this dress, actually, when I was looking for some options for ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ press... And I fell in love with it," she told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere. "And I said, ‘If it’s alright, would you please wait for me and hold this for me? Because in a few months I think it’s going to work.’"

She paired the look with red lipstick and minimal jewelry, including multiple rings and drop earrings.

Hathaway showed off her baby bump in a brown dress at the Paris premiere of "The Odyssey."

The star's baby bump was on full display when she walked the red carpet at the Paris premiere of the film in a brown floor-length dress.

She cradled her bump as she posed for photos in a custom brown Louis Vuitton dress that featured small ruffles along the neckline and a leather top, which transitioned into a flowing pleated skirt.

Hathaway styled the look with multiple rings, a pair of diamond earrings and a dual-toned statement choker, which featured silver designs and a blue jewel in the center. She wore her hair curled and in a half-up, half-down style, and went for bold lashes for her makeup.

Damon looked dapper while posing for photos in a red suit.

Matt Damon was all smiles as he walked the red carpet at the premiere of "The Odyssey" in a dark red suit.

The actor portrays Odysseus, a legendary Greek king of Ithaca who was instrumental in their win during the Trojan War. The upcoming epic details his 10-year journey back home to Ithaca following the end of the war.

During a recent appearance on Amy Poehler's "Good Hang" podcast, Damon shared what it was like preparing his body for the role, calling it a "complete lifestyle change."

"There's no planning it," he said. "Any other time I tried to do something like that, it was always like, well, ‘My time, my workouts’… and this was like… just put your foot on the gas and that's it. And that's the only way to do it, and eat a little less."

Theron stunned in a black dress, which she paired with white opera gloves.

Charlize Theron started the press tour at the world premiere in London, in a sleek classic black Givenchy gown.

The black velvet dress featured a draped halter neckline, with a ruffled peplum effect at her hips, as well as a thigh-high slit and ruffled fabric draped over her back, essentially making the dress backless.

She paired the dress with white opera gloves which puffed up on the forearms and diamond dangling earrings. She kept her makeup look natural except for red lipstick, and wore her hair in a deep side part and a micro updo.

Theron posted photos from the evening on Instagram, captioning the post, "This is how you do London 🤍." Fans immediately took to the comments section to shower her with praise, with one writing, "So it's true : you ARE the most beautiful woman alive🌹," and another adding, "Gorgeous as usual ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥."

Theron posed for photos in a sheer white dress with a plunging neckline and black lace designs.

She followed that look up with an equally stunning Givenchy look at the Paris premiere of the movie.

Nyong'o wore a completely sheer white dress to the premiere of "The Odyssey."

Lupita Nyong'o walked the red carpet at the London premiere of "The Odyssey" in a risqué look.

The actress posed for photos in a completely sleeveless sheer sparkling silver Chanel dress with dramatically cut openings on the sides showcasing her toned arms and abs.

She paired the look with dramatic eye makeup, as well as diamond jewelry, including a bracelet, rings and earrings.

"We have launched! The Odyssey 🩶 London Premiere," she captioned her Instagram post featuring photos from the evening. "Looking fabulous 🔥🔥🔥," one fan wrote in the comments section, while another added, "Our beauty Helen of Troy 🙌❤️."

The Princess of Wales presented Jannik Sinner with the Gentlemen's Singles Trophy after he defended his Wimbledon title in an enthralling final this afternoon.

The world No1 triumphed 6-7(7), 7-6(2), 6-3, 6-4 against the second seed in a contest defined by powerful serving, Alexander Zverev's courageous efforts, and a fateful fall in the third set.

This victory marks Sinner's fifth Grand Slam victory.

As Catherine entered the court, wearing an elegant olive green dress and signature Wimbledon brooch, she shook hands with the young ball boys and girls.

She first presented the runners-up trophy to Zverev, giving him consoling words after his spirited performance, which, in the end, fell just short.

"We came into Wimbledon never reaching the quarter-finals, and we've played our first Wimbledon final," he told the Centre Court crowd.

"At 29 years old, this is the first time that I believe I can actually win this trophy, so thanks to you (my team)."

The Princess of Wales then presented the coveted trophy to Sinner, offering her congratulations to the Italian.

Catherine had presented Sinner with the same trophy this time last year, after he defeated Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz to become the first-ever Italian to win at Wimbledon.

Sinner spoke admirably after he secured the defence of the prestigious tournament: "Sascha, I would like to start with you and your whole team and your family.

"You reached one of your main goals in winning Grand Slams... If you play like this, I'm very, very sure you're going to have this one at home as well.

"Amazing, keep going. I know the goal for you is to become No1 in the world — you're very, very close."

In the opening set, Zverev's first serve proved formidable, landing at 74 per cent, as both competitors held their own on serve to force a tiebreak – one in which the 29-year-old German came out on top.

Sinner returned in the second set – again, poised for a tie-break as neither player seemed willing to give up their serve – to narrowly win and level the final once more.

However, the match's decisive turning point arrived in the seventh game of the third set.

Jannik Sinner | Source: REUTERS

Zverev, holding break point, slipped while attempting to retrieve a drop shot and appeared to hyperextend his right knee.

He remained on the ground momentarily, clutching his leg, before rising to continue.

The injury's impact became increasingly apparent on his service motion, preventing him from extending fully into his delivery.

A double fault followed, then a forehand drifted marginally long to offer Sinner an opportunity to break his serve – one in which he duly accepted to storm into the lead for the first time.

As the fourth set commenced with the clock passing 7pm, time pressure mounted with a potential roof closure looming.

Sinner has never won a match exceeding three hours and 50 minutes, yet it was Zverev who appeared more affected by the ticking clock.

The German resumed his aggressive forehand assault, firing three consecutive winners to reach deuce in Sinner's opening service game.

The champion responded magnificently in the seventh game, producing a superb lob followed by a commanding volley to earn the crucial break for a 4-3 advantage.

A penetrating return pushed Zverev deep, and a forehand winner sealed Sinner's triumph.

Sarah Ferguson was married to ex-Prince Andrew from 1986 until their divorce was finalized in 1996.

The couple were exiled from royal life in 2025 following revelations about their association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

When Andrew proposed in 1986, he gave Ferguson a 3-carat Burmese ruby engagement ring with a cluster of diamonds, forming a flower-shaped design.

Sarah Ferguson got engaged to now-ex Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in 1986, following about a year of dating. Her ring from the former royal is one of the most unique in royal history, although it symbolizes a union marred by scandals. Over the last decade, the exes have become disgraced for their associations with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, among other controversies.

Per Vanity Fair, Ferguson and Andrew knew one another as children before reconnecting in their 20s and becoming romantically involved. Although much attention was lavished on their July 1986 royal wedding, their married life was complicated by scandal. The former couple finalized their divorce a decade after saying their “I do’s.” To the world’s surprise, they continued to live together at Windsor’s Royal Lodge from 2008 until early 2026, when Andrew’s brother King Charles reportedly accelerated their eviction.

After the ex-prince’s arrest in February 2026 on suspicion of misconduct in public office connected to his communications with Epstein, Ferguson’s whereabouts were unknown for months. April 2026 brought an update: per People, the disgraced former duchess was reportedly spotted living in the Austrian Alps.

The mystery surrounding Ferguson remains, however, as the artifacts of her time with the Crown—including her royal engagement ring—are continual subjects of fascination. Ahead, learn more about Sarah Ferguson’s engagement ring and what happened to it following her divorce and fall from grace.

Ferguson’s ring features a central ruby encircled by diamonds that resemble flower petals.

Rather than go for a diamond solitaire, Ferguson and Andrew “wanted something that was slightly unconventional,” he told reporters during their 1986 engagement interview. “It’s something that we discussed in the last few weeks, and we came to the mutual conclusion that red was probably the best color for Sarah [who has red hair]. And that’s how we came to the choice of the ruby. And then the extra bits around the outside.” He added that he made sketches of the design before the ring was made, with the diamonds resembling “rugby balls” in his drawings.

According to jeweler Maxwell Stone’s Crisscut Magazine, the ring features a 3-carat Burmese ruby surrounded by 10 small white diamonds in a cluster setting and set on a gold band. The design resembles a flower in shape—making it similar to Princess Margaret’s ruby engagement ring, which is shaped like a rosebud.

Another royal with a ring like Ferguson’s? Her and Andrew’s daughter, Princess Eugenie. According to People, Eugenie’s proposal piece from now-husband Jack Brooksbank is a blush-colored padparadscha sapphire flanked by a cluster of brilliant-cut diamonds.

It’s worth an estimated $93K, making it one of the least expensive royal engagement rings.

Maxwell told Hello! in 2025 that the ring reportedly cost £25,000 in 1986, but its royal history and inflation make it worth “in the region of £70,000,” or $93,000, today. For a royal engagement ring, that’s peanuts. Queen Elizabeth’s 3-carat diamond sparkler is worth an estimated $250,000, while Princess Diana’s sapphire bauble (now worn by Kate Middleton) is valued at over half a million dollars.

Ferguson continued to wear her ring after her divorce from ex-Prince Andrew, until around 2003.

Ferguson and Andrew separated in 1992 after six years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in 1996. The estranged couple continued to co-parent their two daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and on several family outings, Ferguson could be seen wearing her ruby engagement ring. She was photographed sporting it while dropping Beatrice off for school with Andrew in September 2000, and during a book signing in January 2003. Yet on subsequent public appearances, her hand was bare or adorned with other rings.

Ferguson’s engagement ring hasn’t been seen in public since 2003, and she hasn’t commented on its whereabouts. It may have been privately sold. Another possibility is that Ferguson gave the ring to one of her daughters or is saving it as an heirloom for one of her grandchildren from Eugenie and Beatrice.

Maid of Stone has been one of the post-lockdown success stories

Music festivals have been under threat for years, with dozens calling it a day and many others seemingly just about hanging on for dear life.

The trend shows no sign of ending. Red Rooster, which was held for more than 10 years near the Norfolk/Suffolk border, called in the liquidators earlier this year.

Kernowfornia Festival, which was due to take place in Cornwall in September, has been cancelled after just a year, blaming "recent financial developments". Kernowfornia was the successor to Making Waves, which itself pulled the plug back in 2018 because of debts.

But the picture is not just doom and gloom. Among the bad news are success stories, with some independent festivals thriving.

The number of tickets at Nene Valley Rock Festival is capped at 1,000 a day

Nene Valley Rock Festival will be held at Grimsthorpe Castle, near Bourne, Lincolnshire, in September, with FM and Focus two of the headliners.

"We limit our tickets to 1,000 a day," says director Tony Castle.

"We've all seen pictures of Glastonbury where most of the crowd might as well have stayed at home and watched it on TV because they are only watching it on a big screen. Limiting our tickets is a bit of a risk because of finances, but we want to provide a boutique, intimate experience.

"Our success is based on providing our customers with what they actually want as opposed to being a large organisation that is in it for money. We are non-profit making and none of us draws a penny. That allows us to plough every penny we get back into the festival itself."

Things such as providing decent loos with an on-site cleaning team have proven popular, Castle says, as have the free shower facilities. Meanwhile, feedback from the first years prompted the organisers to introduce glamping tents, including some that come with real beds.

It has all helped create "a hardcore of supporters" who will buy tickets before the first bands are announced.

"We have their trust that we'll put on enough bands that they want to see," says Castle, who adds that a cut in VAT for independent festivals would help.

Glamping options were introduced at Nene Valley Rock Festival following audience feedback

Another festival that is relatively new on the scene is Maid of Stone in Kent, which takes place next weekend for the fourth time.

The 5,000-capacity jamboree in Maidstone – which this year will feature the likes of Saxon and Uriah Heep – is on the site of the former Ramblin' Man Fair, which went bust and never restarted after lockdown.

Ramblin' Man had a bigger capacity and attracted bigger acts – Whitesnake and ZZ Top were among its headliners – but it was always going to be tricky keeping it alive without the tens or even hundreds of thousands of attendees that the likes of Glastonbury, Reading and Download pull in.

"Festivals are struggling, there's no denying it," says Maid of Stone's Chris Wright.

"The UK alone has lost over 100 since 2024, and I expect the impending recession and fuel shortage issues will add to that this summer."

Maid of Stone will take place again in Kent next weekend

Wright adds: "Standing as an independent is hard in any industry, but when you're in a niche industry a few companies have way too much say and control, and it's difficult to navigate around that."

It means "smart business decisions" are crucial.

"As a company, we have had 10 years of creating small community type events and reinvesting any money made back into the company," he says.

"This has allowed us to purchase and own a fair amount of equipment and infrastructure. This helps massively, as the cost of that equipment has doubled in recent years, and it gives us an advantage over someone, say, who is starting out on a year-one show."

Red Rooster has been cancelled this year

John Rostron, chief executive of the Association of Independent Festivals, says there have been 30 cancellations or postponements so far this year but about the same number of events have started up.

"The good news is that many independent festivals are thriving, having had their strongest sales in a long time (for some, ever)," he says.

"There has been a record number of sell-outs and [festivals] selling out early, driven by factors such as how more easily affordable it is to buy a festival ticket with a payment plan.

"But the emerging narrative this year is how tough it is for those independent festivals financially. Margins remain tight, and the biggest challenge is cashflow – so even sold-out festivals are struggling to find the money to get their gates open."

The scene at a previous Rock N Roll Circus

Artists and their management don't always help, Rostron says.

"Topline talent is charging up to double what they were in previous years, and agents are trying to push for payments earlier without good reason.

"More established festivals are able to hold their ground and are able to split payments… but some agents are pushing independents, particularly newer events, for 100% upfront fees, which is crippling promoters who buckle to those unnecessary demands."

A bit of help from the taxman would also help, he says.

"The external intervention we need is from government in the shape of grassroots music festival tax relief. Festivals eat and drink risk, but tax relief mitigates some of that risk."

Rock N Roll Circus is being held in Norfolk and South Yorkshire

Karen Johnson is the spokeswoman for Rock N Roll Circus, which will be held in Norwich and Sheffield next month with James, The Streets and Richard Ashcroft among the bill-toppers.

She says there has been "a creeping dominance" of the larger festival promoters, and the increase in large arena shows for big-name artists has also taken up a greater share of people's spending power.

So what can independent festivals do to help keep the show on the road?

Rock N Roll Circus, as its name suggests, mixes the traditional elements of a music festival with the thrills of high-wire and fire displays.

Johnson says: "Offering value for money seems to be a thing this year, providing choices – day festivals in parks, for example, where the costs of travel and camping are less and where audiences can cherry-pick the artists/genres they like best but still have a festival-style experience."

None of this is to lay the blame at those festivals that have had to call it a day. It is a tough environment, and when a venture fails the biggest losers are often the people behind it, who sometimes lose millions of pounds.

It no doubt keeps the brains behind many of these events awake at night as they work tirelessly to thrive – or, as Nene Valley's Castle says, to "just survive".

Ferrell explained that he voluntarily gave up on competing with his kids. “It hurt too much to play against them, so I just kinda quit,” he said. “They never really beat me, I quit.”

In an interview with *Entertainment Tonight* at the same event, Magnus called his dad’s SKIMS ad “super sexy,” while Mattias opined that the comedian “got a great body” and added that “we thought he did a great job with that.”

Ferrell responded to his sons’ positive feedback in a separate interview with the same outlet. “Well, they’re right,” he said. “I mean, that’s the right answer.”

The *Stranger Than Fiction* star also reflected on what it felt like to bring two of his sons to the premiere — and explained his third son’s absence from the festivities.

“It’s kind of unbelievable,” he said. “I’m very proud of them. I’m proud of all three of my sons. I’m sorry Axel can’t be here, but he’s in Richmond playing basketball right now.”

He continued, “He’s dunking on people in Richmond, Va. No, but it’s really fun that they’re able to be here and have such a good time.”

Allie Eklund is opening up about the way her hopes for the future made her realize she needed to leave her relationship with The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys star Steven McBee Jr. in the past.

“When I think about my future kids, that is what keeps me going,” Eklund exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, July 10, while promoting her personal business venture, Triple E Mercantile, a collection of goods inspired by her family’s private Texas Hill country ranch, home to more than 100 animals.

“There’s nothing I miss about that relationship or look back and want again, or in the future that we had planned, because I refuse to put my kids through some of the experiences that I was experiencing behind closed doors, and that’s what — that’s the only reason why I’m able to say no,” she continued. “There were things that I was putting up with myself privately that I chose to protect him on.”

She reality TV star added, “But when I, after this has been brought to light, and I’m watching this play back and remembering, you know, some of the bad that did outweigh the good — in no world would I want my kids to experience some of the things that I did.”

Eklund and McBee Jr.’s now defunct relationship is currently playing out in season 3 of the hit reality TV show, which premiered back in June. The pair famously split in April of this year, after McBee Jr., 33, publicly accused Eklund of cheating on him after attending Stagecoach. Eklund denied the allegations and McBee Jr. eventually apologized for his comments, revealing he would be seeking therapy while attending a wellness retreat.

While discussing her breakup, Eklund told Us that she finds it all very “interesting,” considering it was her ex-boyfriend’s “choice to bring this to the internet,” referring to his public infidelity accusations.

“If it would have been up to me, I would have protected him. And I did choose to protect him in multiple scenarios throughout our relationship, where I had found text messages and gotten messages and phone calls, and things were said to me,” she continued. “You know, he had said things to me and treated me a certain way, and I continued to protect him. So when he chose to bring this last fight to the internet … the vulnerability that came from that experience has ended up leading me to [a] connection with women around the world that I couldn’t have imagined.”

Who Is Allie Eklund? What to Know After Steven McBee Jr. Accused Her of Cheating at Stagecoach

Eklund explained to Us that thanks to fans sharing their “similar experiences” and telling her that by detailing her personal story she has “given them strength in this scenario to move forward and get out of relationships where they were being treated that way,” she has found purpose in her pain.

“There’s only so much that we can do, and we can love someone from afar,” she explained. “But when it continues to happen over and over again, it’s a pattern. And I would encourage women to walk away from similar behavior. And I have, which has been crazy — that people have communicated that this has impacted them in that way, I never could have imagined that, and for that, I’m thankful for the experience.”

The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys airs on Bravo Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
