The Bachelor alum, 30, said "yes" to boyfriend Nathan Nel after seven months of dating. She announced the happy news on Instagram on Sunday, Jan. 25, sharing a video of the romantic proposal.
In the clip, Nel can be seen getting down on one knee in a scenic setting in what appeared to be his native South Africa. He and Gordon then kissed and hugged as they soaked up the moment.
"My soul forever intertwined with yours @natenelnel," Gordon, founder of the Rhode Island-based vintage store Folk Vintage, wrote in the caption of her post.

In text over the video, she added: "No one tells you the feeling you get when the person you love more than anything in this world asks you to spend forever with them. It's not about the ring, or the wedding, it's about the mutual commitment, the spiritual intertwine & excitement for forever as a unit."
A number of Bachelor Nation stars shared their love in the comments of the post, including Hakeem Moulton, who wrote, "Congrats queen!!!" Katelyn DeBacker said, "Love love love!! Congratulations, Syd."
Following the engagement, Gordon — who vied for Joey Graziadei's heart on season 28 of The Bachelor — shared a glimpse of her sparkly engagement ring on her Instagram Stories.
She wrote over the clip, "3 years ago I got an empty heart tattoo so that one day when I found my person my heart would be filled."

Gordon first revealed her relationship with Nel, a wellness coach and founder of Vitālis Wellness, in a series of TikTok videos in August 2025. At the time, she said that while the pair had only known each other for two months, she "already knew that he's the one."
The former reality star went on to share that she met Nel at a festival in South Africa after running into two people she had met in the U.S. who introduced her to the wellness coach. Once Gordon returned home, she and Nel continued messaging each other, and Nel soon invited her to come back to South Africa.

The pair quickly fell in love. "I know this man better than I've known the guy that I was in a relationship with for four years," she explained on TikTok. "I met his whole family, I met all of his friends, and we aligned in every single way. I truly did not know that a love like this existed until I met Nathan."
Gordon then revealed that the pair were moving in together in Newport, R.I. "Many people think that I'm crazy and that I'm moving too fast, but honestly, I am a firm believer that when you know, you know," she said. "And when you love somebody, you will literally do anything for them. Now this man is moving here. He's moving to Newport with me."
In an update on TikTok on Jan. 3, Gordon shared that she and Nel were returning to South Africa. Over a clip of herself applying lip gloss, she wrote, "30, no kids, don't own a house, and moving next week to my favorite place in the world (Cape Town) to open up my second vintage shop."
She added in the caption: "This is your sign to follow that dream no matter how insane it may seem. So excited for this new chapter in Cape Town."
