A rising star is enjoying the spotlight on this season of The Pitt, but you may find it hard to put your finger on where you've seen her before.

Annabelle Toomey arrived on scene bright and early in Season Two, portraying patient Kylie Conners, a little girl brought into the ER by her father's girlfriend after she fell down the stairs.

She presented with a laceration to the chin and a chipped tooth, but the medical team also uncovered bruising all over her body and a significant amount of blood in her urine during their examination and assessment.

It turns out, Kylie was seen in the emergency room several times, raising red flags in addition to her multitude of injuries, leading staff to get social services involved with the concern that she may be a victim of abuse.

However, the young girl was also observed to have a high pain tolerance, not even flinching when poked with a needle. This development led many fans to suspect that she may end up being diagnosed with Congenital Insensitivity to Pain, a rare disorder in which a person feels no pain. (You may recall an early episode of Grey's Anatomy guest-starring Abigail Breslin, whose character claimed to have superpowers and invited people to punch her in the stomach to prove it—she had the same thing.)

If you, too, have spent the past episodes racking your brain while trying to pinpoint just what you know her from, we've got you covered.

What Else Has Annabelle Toomey Been Seen In?

This little powerhouse hasn't been seen in much, but if you're scratching your head wondering wear the heck you've seen her face before, we'd wager to say it was likely in the One Chicago Universe, having first played Harper in a 2024 episode of Chicago Firebefore returning the franchise in 2025 for a two-part episode of Chicago P.D., where she played Marie Pappas/Zoe Cassidy.

First appearing in the fourth episode of Chicago Fire's 12th season, called "The Little Things," Toomey played a little girl named Harper, who was found hiding in a closet after the crew extinguished a small fire outside of the family's garage.

Harper was believed to be playing video games in the basement at the time of the fire, and Stella noticed the shoulder of her coat was singed, so she started asking Harper if she knew anything about how the fire started.

Her mom shut down the line of questioning, but Stella remained suspicious about Harper's involvement, and keeps poking around until Harper's mom confronts her, admitting that Harper's become troubled since her parents' divorce became contentious. She was worried that Stella's investigation could cause her trouble in court, where she felt her ex was just demanding custody of their daughter to hurt her mom, rather than out of any care for their child.

Stella tried to emphasize the danger that Harper was putting herself and others into, but her mom begged for Stella to drop it, and let her handle things on her own. Unfortuantely, things did not get handled, and Harper next set fire to the house. Stella found her hiding under the bathroom sink while the rest of the residence went up in flames, and putting her mother into the ICU.

Her 'Stellar' Work on 'Chicago P.D.' Had Fans Raving

Not long after, she appeared on the 10th and 14th episodes of Chicago P.D.'s 12th season, portraying the kidnapped daughter of serial killer Thomas Cronin and earning high praise from fans for her "stellar acting" and "phenomenal performance."

In fact, even Patrick Flueger said she was "so good, she's almost intimidating."

If you need a refresher, Cronin targeted her mother but showed Zoe, whose real name is Marie, the small mercy of taking her with him.

Cronin took several more lives throughout their years together, but always brought her along when he ran—until one day, Ruzek conducted a wellness check and found her playing alone in a house with multiple bodies.

Zoe was placed in a foster home, but Cronin tracked her down and killed her foster mother, taking off with the girl once again. Zoe is able to leave a trail of clues, and Ruzek and the intelligence team track her down and rescue her, eventually reuniting her with her grandmother.

Toomey got her start on television in the 2021 miniseries Dopesick, appearing in two episodes as Thompson and Catherine Brownlee.

You may also recognize her from her more recent appearances in The Bear, playing Eva in four episodes of the viral series alongside Chicago Med'sOliver Platt and Sarah Ramos, or Mayor of Kingstown, in which she can be seen as Molly in six episodes.

And, with how slow things go in the emergency room, you can probably expect to see her for a few more episodes of The Pitt.
