A major egg recall has been issued over dangerous misbranding and undeclared allergens in one of the country's largest egg supplier's products. The liquid egg products have been voluntarily recalled by Minnesota producer Michael Foods. Due to a labelling mix up the company's 'Breakfast Blend Scrambled Egg' product was accidentally put into cartons labeled 'Fair Meadow Foundations Whole Eggs with Citric Acid'. The scrambled egg product contains milk, which does not appear on the label of the carton, the US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) warned in the recall notice.
