Both Morse and Rife have supported each other at their respective shows

Matt Rife may be used to taking center stage, but he also has a leading lady in his life.

The comedian has been dating his girlfriend, Mariah Morse, since at least March 2025. Rife and Morse confirmed their relationship in the spring and have since shared several pictures spending time together on vacation, with their dogs and at his comedy shows.

While Morse has supported Rife with his comedy, she has also secured a successful career as a personal trainer, nutrition coach, bodybuilder and fitness content creator. When she isn't hitting the gym and posting recipes, she's spending time with her dog, Kona.

Throughout their relationship, both Morse and Rife have shared photos with each other on their social media pages. In September, Morse posted several pictures with Rife to celebrate his 30th birthday.

"Everyone knows you for your punch lines, charisma, your jaw line, or good looks.. BUT not everyone gets to see your 2 am zoomies, the way you go out of your way to make a stranger smile, the way you remember the little things, the way you light up any room you walk in, and your heart of absolute gold," she captioned the post. "Loving you is the easiest thing I'll ever do- happy birthday."Here's everything to know about Matt Rife's girlfriend, Mariah Morse.

She's a fitness trainer, bodybuilder and nutrition coach

Morse is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach who has been posting about her health and fitness journey since 2024. She offers coaching plans that include individual training, nutrition planning and customized workout plans.

When she isn't helping others achieve their fitness goals, she's teaching her over 200,000 Instagram followers about how she has maintained her physique over the years. Morse uses her social media pages to share videos of her workouts, training sessions and meal plans. She has also posted about being an athlete with 1st Phorm and a partner with Alphalete and DFYNE.

In September 2025, Morse took her athleticism to the stage and competed in the Summer Shredding Championship. She took home the prize for Bikini Overall Winner, and Rife was by her side to support her. Morse posted several photos of the two kissing and hugging after her win.

"Some quick bits just stepping off stage after one of the coolest experiences🥹 so thankful for the incredible people in my circle that have seen me at my very worst and still loved me through it, an able body to do what I love, and being around so many hardworking people that make me want to be better," she captioned the post.

Rife commented under the post, "IM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!!!"

Morse often shares about her and Rife's dogs

Similar to her boyfriend, Morse has one dog, an Alaskan Malamute named Kona, whom she adopted in 2021.

Morse has brought Kona on several adventures with her — including hikes, road trips and celebrating holidays. In October 2025, she put Kona in a crocodile costume while she wore a zookeeper outfit to dress up as the late Steve Irwin and his crocodiles.

Morse also reflected on her love for Kona while making an Instagram video encouraging others to get a dog in their 20s. She captioned the post, "not me in tears making this reel while she's alive and well sitting at my feet. We really don't deserve the unconditional love of a dog."

In addition to her own dog, Morse has also embraced Rife's beloved dog, Hammer, and shared photos with the pitbull.

Morse and Rife sparked romance rumors in March 2025

Morse and Rife first sparked romance rumors in March when they were seen holding hands while walking into a club in Rhode Island with friends. The two were also photographed smiling together in a group photo with friends later that month.

On March 31, TMZ confirmed that they were officially an item, but Morse and Rife kept their relationship off social media for a few months.

She confirmed her relationship with Rife on Instagram in May

Although Rife and Morse initially kept their romance off social media, she shared her first Instagram post with him in May. In the post, she featured photos of the two holding hands, laughing and her supporting him while he got a tattoo.

Meanwhile, Rife included Morse in his first post in a group photo in June. For their first Halloween together, Rife shared a picture of Morse sitting on his lap while she dressed up as the horror doll Annabelle.

She has supported him on his comedy tour

While Rife has embarked upon his national 2025 Stay Golden Tour, Morse has been by his side for several shows. Over the last year, she has shared pictures of her attending various shows — including stops in Las Vegas and Florida.

Meanwhile, Rife has posted a backstage picture of himself and Morse holding hands at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

"im the luckiest girl in the world," she commented under the post.

When Billy Crudup met George Clooney 15 years ago, the aura was real.

"It was pretty clear: He's George Clooney through and through," Crudup says of his costar in the Netflix dramedy "Jay Kelly" (in select theaters now, streaming Dec. 5). "He truly understands the space that he occupies and has found a remarkable comfort in it."

Flash back 40 years or so, though, and it's a much different Clooney. That guy is bombing auditions, including a reading for Francis Ford Coppola where Clooney's agent told him the next day that "The Godfather" director thought he was drunk. Unlike his title character in "Jay Kelly," who rides an accidental first audition into A-list status early in his career, Clooney didn't find fame until he was 33 as the star of 1990s medical drama "ER."

A role he knows well: George Clooney stars as an aging movie star in the new Netflix dramedy "Jay Kelly."

"That's late in Hollywood life to get successful," Clooney says. "I'd failed so many times. I'd done 13 pilots and seven television series before 'ER,' so my trajectory was very different.

"For me, it was a long journey. It was probably 100 auditions before I got my first paid job. So you get a lot of nos, but nos are helpful. You get tougher skin as you go."

Played by Clooney, Jay Kelly is an aging movie legend who realizes in the twilight of his professional life that he's prioritized work over loved ones. It's extremely meta in the way it follows the actor's existence – director Noah Baumbach even tailored the film to his resident star, making Jay from Clooney's home state of Kentucky. Clooney also happens to be one of the few people who could pull the character off, Baumbach says. "George has this sort of timeless quality as a movie star. He could exist in any era of film history."

Lively and self-deprecating, Clooney talks in depth with USA TODAY about his acting life vs. Jay Kelly's and how he'll know when it's time to ride off into the sunset.

This interview has been edited and condensed for length and clarity.

Movie star Jay (George Clooney, far left) reflects on his life alongside publicist Liz (Laura Dern) and manager Ron (Adam Sandler) in the dramedy "Jay Kelly."

How much do you recognize Jay's life as your own, be it the way he deals with his entourage or asks for another take when he doesn't need it?

George Clooney: Well, I'm a little different than that because when you have as limited an acting range as I have, you really hope they get it in the first couple of takes because there's not a whole lot of options. There's obviously some similarities. The early stuff [in the movie] is really fascinating, acting class and weaseling your way into auditions. I remember I was friends with a secretary at this small agency and I couldn't get in on auditions. You get the breakdown, which would tell you what the auditions were for, and I would then call and pretend to be my own agent and pitch myself to come in and read. If they called back, they would call the secretary at the agency and she would call me.

A piece of cheesecake being everywhere Jay goes is a hilarious running joke. Have you ever had a rider?

I remember I was in New York and the driver, he was pissed at me. I was like, "What's going on, dude?" He goes, "Look, George, I looked everywhere for Fuji apples. I can't find them anywhere." Somebody had asked me at some point, do I want anything in my trailer to eat? And I said maybe some apples. They go, "Any kind in particular?" I was like, "I don't know, Fuji?" Because it was the only one I could think of. And all of a sudden it's in your rider. Everywhere you go, people are climbing mountains to find Fuji apples for you. And I had to go, "Take that out. You are crazy."

A little bit of it happens accidentally with people trying to make everything nice. There's some actors that are literally "I only eat green M&M's" kind of bulls---. I grew up in Kentucky – we try to stay out of trailers. That's not the end all and be all, [me] in a double wide on the set.

Jay Kelly (George Clooney, right) watches his younger self (Charlie Rowe) in acting class in Netflix's "Jay Kelly."

You've inhabited so many different types of roles. What was it like playing an actor?

If you read the ["Jay Kelly"] script, you go, "This guy's a jerk." All of his friends are people he pays, he kind of dismisses everybody. I thought about actors who do jerks really well. Danny DeVito would always be a jerk, but you liked him. Look at how many films Jack Nicholson was just a total jerk, like "Carnal Knowledge," and you still rooted for him. I focused on trying to make sure that this guy was actively, earnestly believing that he's a good guy. If you think he's a jerk, you've lost the plot a little bit.

What kind of roles do you want now at 64? Is there a character actor in you waiting to jump out?

I've been trying to go the route [Paul] Newman did: "OK, well, I'm not kissing a girl anymore. That's getting a little old." You just want to be challenged. I was terrified to do a play on Broadway ("Good Night, and Good Luck") this year. I had a lot of lines. I was worried about remembering my lines because you're 64. What was fun and exciting about it was how scared I was. And it's nice to be 64 years old and not know whether you can accomplish that in a profession that I've been successful at. I'm about to do a movie with Annette Bening – I'm worried about whether I can do it or not because she's such a wonderful actress.

So there's all of those things where challenging yourself is the exciting part still. I don't have to work, and that's a good place to be. I want to be able then to make sure that when I do it, it's for the right reasons.

George Clooney poses with his wife Amal Clooney on the red carpet at a London gala screening of "Jay Kelly."

Jay is coming to the point where he's thinking of ending his career. Will you know when it's time to walk away, or do you want to just keep going till the wheels fall off?

They're falling off already. Leg falls off every once in a while. My dad's [almost] 92 and he still writes. It's important to stay active. I mean, you're a writer. I can't imagine you saying, "Well, now that I'm 70, maybe I shouldn't write anymore." I do feel like because it's creative, you can stay involved and do what you want to do. There's going to be parts for "Grandpa gums bread" and I'll be the perfect guy for it. That's a good thing about the profession that I've chosen.

George Clooney is still looking for new acting challenges at age 64.

Having said that, when I turned 60, I had a conversation with my wife [Amal]. I said, "Look, I can still play basketball with the boys. I play with 25-year-old guys. I can still hang, I'm in shape. But in 25 years, I'm 85 years old. It doesn't matter how many granola bars you eat, that's a real number."

If you give up working, you lose your place in society. But we also have to make sure we are spending time doing things with our family, with the people we love more. Because Amal and I both tend to focus on trying to accomplish things. We've gotten much better at spending time with our kids. Listen, nobody gets it right. I don't get it right. You probably don't get it right. But we do the best we can. I'm not mad at my parents for missing things when I was a kid because they were putting food on the table.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen skyrocketed to fame after playing Michelle Tanner in Full House

The two's last film together was 2004's New York Minute

In 2005, they founded fashion brand The Row, which they continue to run today

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are continuing to build their fashion legacy.

The child stars-turned-fashion designers first became famous in 1987 with the debut of Full House, in which they shared the role of Danny Tanner (Bob Saget)'s youngest daughter Michelle.

The pair spent years in the limelight starring in films together, but stepped away from the public eye at the height of their acting fame and founded their fashion brand, The Row.

"This is the way we chose to move forward in our lives: to not be in the spotlight, to really have something that speaks for itself," Mary-Kate told Vogue U.K. in April 2019.

So, where are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen now? Here's everything to know about their lives today.

Who are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen?

Matt Winkelmeyer/MG19/Getty Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen attend The 2019 Met Gala on May 06, 2019 in New York City.

Mary-Kate and Ashley are fraternal twins from Sherman Oaks, Calif., who first became known for playing Michelle Tanner on Full House — a part they earned when they were just 6 months old.

They weren't the only Hollywood siblings in the Olsen house: Their younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, has starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and in projects like 2025's Eternity.

"[They] were forced to watch all my plays my whole life and go to my dance performances," Elizabeth told The Times in November 2025.

After Full House, the Olsen twins continued acting. They went on to star in more than 30 films together, including It Takes Two, Double, Double, Toil and Trouble, To Grandmother's House We Go and How the West Was Fun.

The sisters' company, Dualstar, was founded in 1993 by their then-manager Robert Thorne, with their father David Olsen serving as president. Ashley now serves as the CEO.

In 2005, the twins launched their fashion line, The Row, under Dualstar. In addition to reaching annual sales of $12 million within its first four years, per Allure, the brand boasts five physical locations, according to Business of Fashion.

"I think in the beginning [The Row] was really a project for us," Ashley told i.D. in June 2021. "It started with [a] T-shirt and then six other pieces fell out of that: tank tops, cardigans, leggings ... But it was really about perfecting the fit and perfecting the fabric."

When did Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen retire from acting?

Ashley's last major film was in 2004's New York Minute, though she had minor cameos in 2008's The Jerk Theory and 2010's I'm Still Here. Mary-Kate, meanwhile, retired from acting in 2012.

At 18, the Olsen twins moved to New York to attend New York University, where they found their true calling: fashion.

"We decided to ... take a step back and figure out what we really wanted to do," Ashley told The Ellen Show in September 2010. "And [fashion] was still something I think we were both extremely interested in."

Acting was a profession the Olsen twins fell into. "I don't think I ever turned around and said, "Oh my god, I'm acting, it was just what I knew, it was what we did," Mary-Kate told CBS in September 2007.

In November 2013, Ashley told Allure that she needed to switch her focus. "I was reading scripts, and ultimately I just said to the people who are representing me, 'I need to do things 100 percent. I don't feel like I can give you 100 percent of my time,' " she said.

By that time, Mary-Kate had stopped acting as well, telling the publication, "I am not great at not being able to control the end product."

Both sisters declined to participate in the 2016 Fuller House reboot.

Do Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen still work in fashion?

Gisela Schober/Getty

The twin siblings continue to run The Row, with Mary-Kate serving as creative director and Ashley as the brand's CEO.

The two became the youngest designers to ever be inducted into the CFDA association in 2009 and won their first of five CFDA awards in 2012. Over the years, they have continued to grow their style empire with other fashion projects, including a JCPenney line called Olsenboye, a T-shirt line at StyleMint and various expansions of The Row.

As the brand's creative director, Mary-Kate puts "a lot of work" into her presentations. "It's hard, it's emotional, it's time consuming, but when it's finished and it's great, you have that moment — it's maybe 30 seconds or a minute long — but you remember that moment," she told i.D. in June 2021.

"I think the reason that we do fashion is to constantly try to fix our imperfections, and you always have next season to do that," she continued. "It's also our job to find every imperfection in there to make sure that we're constantly pushing ourselves and training our eyes and making sure everyone is served."

On Dec. 28, 2022, Ashley married artist Louis Eisner in an intimate wedding ceremony attended by Mary-Kate and Elizabeth.

The private affair was the "perfect celebration" for the couple, who dated for five years prior to tying the knot. "They never wanted a huge wedding," a source told PEOPLE at the time.

The couple welcomed a son named Otto in 2023.

Mary-Kate, meanwhile, married French businessman Olivier Sarkozy in November 2015, but filed for divorce in May 2020.

"She's super career focused and he's very French and wanted her to be more available," a source told PEOPLE at the time, adding, "You can't control a girl who has been on the billionaire track since her 20s."

The younger Olsen twin sparked romance rumors in May 2024 after being spotted in the Hamptons with NHL star Sean Avery, but a source told PEOPLE that the two are "just friends."

"Mary Kate and Sean have known one another for years," they said. "They spend their summers in the Hamptons, and hang out with the same crowds."

They showed their latest collection in Paris in March 2025. In August 2025, the duo was photographed arranging clothing racks at their store in Amagansett, N.Y.

In addition to their professional work, Mary-Kate pursues equestrian endeavors, finishing in second and third place at the 2021 Longines Global Champions Tour in Rome.

Blue Bloods ran for 14 seasons, from 2010 to 2024.

Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, and Bridget Moynahan anchored the CBS series as members of the law-enforcing Reagan family.

Notable exits over the years included for Jennifer Esposito's Jackie Curatola and Amy Carlson's Linda Reagan.

For 14 seasons, the Reagan family patrolled the streets of Blue Bloods' New York City, accruing its share of fallen soldiers along the way.

From detectives leaving the line of duty to family members meeting their untimely demise, the CBS series said goodbye to several fan-favorite characters throughout its 14-year run.

Below, we look back at six of the most memorable cast departures — why the actors left, and what they've been up to since leaving the Reagan family's bubble.

Bruce Altman appeared early in Blue Bloods as Mayor Robert Levitt, a recurring character in season 1. After losing the 2011 election, he resurfaced in season 3's "Men in Black" after his daughter is arrested.

Altman doesn't appear to have addressed his exit from the show, but he's kept busy across TV and film in the years since. He appeared on Mr. Robot (2015–2017) as a disgraced tech CTO and later played philosophy professor Oliver Simmons on Power Book II: Ghost (2020–2024).

Moviegoers might also recognize him as Jerry Roach, the publishing executive from the final two Fifty Shades films (2017–2018).

Jennifer Esposito as Jackie Curatola (seasons 1–3)

During Blue Bloods's first three seasons, Jennifer Esposito costarred as Detective Jackie Curatola, the trusted partner of Donnie Wahlberg's Danny Reagan. Esposito's Jackie left the show halfway through season 3.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Esposito needed a lighter workload after being diagnosed with celiac disease, and her character was subsequently written out in 2012.

The actress took to X at the time. "CBS didn't listen to my doc and I collapsed on set. Which everyone saw!" she alleged. "After a week off my doc said I could return to work but CBS… Implied that I was NOT truly ill and this was a scheme to get a raise!" She also claimed that the network put her on unpaid leave and prevented her from taking other work.

After leaving Blue Bloods, Esposito starred on NCIS (2016–2017), and The Boys (2019–2020). She also made her directorial debut with the drama Fresh Kills (2023).

Despite the bad blood, Esposito eventually returned to Blue Bloods as a guest star in the final two seasons.

Nicholas Turturro as Anthony Renzulli (seasons 1–6)

Emmy nominee Nicholas Turturro, the younger brother of John Turturro, played Sergeant Anthony Renzulli for the first six seasons of Blue Bloods, serving as a mentor to Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) during his early years on the force.

But after a brief appearance in season 6, Renzulli abruptly vanished from the show, with no official explanation from CBS or the actor himself.

Turturro wasn't shy about wanting more screen time. In 2013, he urged fans on X to "write to CBS and Blue Bloods that we need more Renzulli." He even floated the idea of a Renzulli spinoff series, but that never came to fruition.

After exiting the show, Turturro landed roles on Law & Order: SVU (2019–2020), as well as The Family Business (2018–2020) and its 2025 spinoff. He's also racked up dozens of film credits, including the Spike Lee joints BlacKkKlansman (2018) and Highest 2 Lowest (2025).

Amy Carlson was integral to Blue Bloods for its first seven seasons as Linda Reagan, an ER nurse and wife to Danny. Though she weathered more than a few brushes with death throughout her run, she met her demise in an offscreen helicopter crash between seasons 7 and 8.

In November 2017, Carlson confirmed it was her decision to leave Blue Bloods, but expressed a bit of shock over how Linda died. "I feel badly that she dies the way she dies," she said. "I did not know they would do that, I was surprised. I wouldn't have done that."

When asked how she would have preferred to say goodbye, Carlson expressed regret that viewers never got to witness Linda's final moments. "It would've been nice for the fans… to be a participant in it," she explained. "I'm not sure how I would've chosen it but I just know that for the fans to have a way to grieve, to move through it, I think it would've been nice for them."

In May 2018, showrunner Kevin Wade opened up to EW about Carlson's exit. "Amy's departure wasn't planned," he said. "We were catching up after the fact, after the actress decided not to return to the show. It was an offering out of very limited choices, the way that we handled her departure. We then had really 22 episodes to deal with the impact of the death of that character on the life of her surviving husband and kids, which I like to think we did somewhat successfully and paid respect to her character."

Since her departure, Carlson has landed recurring roles on Netflix's short-lived The Society (2019) and the CBS procedural FBI: Most Wanted (2020). Most recently, she played police captain Emily Pearson on the Apple TV+ miniseries Smoke (2025).

For 10 seasons, Sami Gayle starred as Nicky Reagan-Boyle, the daughter of Bridget Moynahan's Erin.

Gayle's Nicky started as a recurring presence, but grew into a major player as her character got older. Gayle left Blue Bloods shortly into season 10 to focus on her studies at Columbia University, but ended up returning for a handful of guest spots.

Gayle's appeared in several films, including Vampire Academy (2014), Noah (2014), and the Netflix romcom Candy Jar (2018). In 2023, she originated the role of Adele in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Bad Cinderella.

David Ramsey joined Blue Bloods in season 2 as Mayor Carter Poole, who held office even after an assassination attempt left him paralyzed from the waist down. Poole stuck around until season 7, when his character resigns from office.

Ramsey went on to star as John Diggle on Arrowverse shows like Arrow (2012–2020), The Flash (2014–2023), and Legends of Tomorrow (2016–2020). Most recently, he appeared on Netflix's The Hunting Party (2025).

NEW YORK (AP) — Oscar-nominated producer Jason Blum is now getting some recognition from the literary world. PEN America will honor him at its fundraising gala next spring with the Business Visionary award. PEN, the century-old free expression organization, also will present author-bookseller Ann Patchett with the PEN/Audible Literary Service Award.

The gala is scheduled for May 14, and, as in previous years, will be held at the American Museum of Natural History.

Blum, the founder and CEO of Blumhouse Productions, has helped oversee films ranging from "BlacKkKlansman" and "Whiplash" to "Get Out" and such horror franchises as "Paranormal Activity" and "Halloween." In announcing the awards Tuesday, PEN praised the producer for "his daring and diverse films that have transformed horror from a niche genre into a driving force of contemporary culture, often with social issues at the core."

Blum, 56, said in a statement that "Horror is so much bigger and broader than people think" and that he was "very proud to have played a part in bringing it to an even wider audience." He then cited an issue at the core of PEN's mission, book bans, which he called the only thing "scarier than our movies."

"A PEN America report from earlier this year found that Stephen King is the most banned author in American schools," he said. "The freedom to tell horror stories is vital to what we do every day at Blumhouse, so I'm grateful to PEN America for recognizing that, and thankful for this honor."

Previous recipients of the visionary award, given for "transformative contributions to the world of literature and storytelling," include Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger, Dow Jones CEO Almar Latour and Macmillan Publishers CEO Jon Yaged.

Patchett, who turned 62 on Tuesday, is known for such acclaimed and popular novels as "Bel Canto," "Commonwealth" and "The Dutch House." PEN awards the literary service prize to "a writer or advocate who has served the literary community through their words or work," and she has a legacy of both.

Patchett is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters and winner of the PEN/Faulkner award for "Bel Canto." Besides her own writing, Patchett has been praised for her championing of fellow authors through Parnassus Books, the Nashville-based store she co-founded in 2011 around the same time two local booksellers had closed.

"I always used to think of myself as someone who should just be in a room, alone, writing books," Patchett told The . "But the bookstore really challenged that and changed me from a person who titled inwards to a person who titled outwards."

Bookselling, she added with a laugh, "just gets me out of the house."

PEN interim Co-CEO Clarisse Rosaz Shariyf said in a statement that Patchett's fiction "distills the essence of the human condition with humor and heart" and that Parnassus "has evolved into a refuge for readers and writers."

Other literary service honorees include Toni Morrison, Lorne Michaels and Bob Woodward.
