The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has been facing uncertainty ever since the news of the incident involving Taylor Frankie Paul and ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen broke. Production on the newest season has halted, and now it's unclear whether filming will resume or not.

SLOMW put the brakes on production amidst the scandal surrounding Taylor and Dakota. The two are now under investigation and required to undergo a psychological evaluation. During this time, the Mormon Wives distanced themselves from Taylor and rumors quickly circulated that the scandal would impact the show's future.
It looks like that's happening now. An insider told TMZ that the future of SLOMW is "very much up in the air." The police are conducting their investigation. The source claims the production company has also hired a third-party investigator to look into unspecified accusations among the cast.
For now, nothing is set to happen until the findings of the investigation can be reviewed by ABC. Whether with Taylor or not, it's unknown if the popular Hulu series will continue. Plus, word on the street is that there is already a new spin-off in the works featuring Jen Affleck and a brand new cast.

All of the roosters are coming home to roost now. Taylor's season of The Bachelorette was also yanked from the air. It's uncertain whether it will air after everything has been settled or if it will remain on the shelf.
For now, fans of SLOMW will have to wait and see what happens. Aside from the scandal surrounding Taylor, there are also other challenges with the MomTok group, like ongoing feuds and bitter divorces. Perhaps a reality television break is really in their best interest for now.
