Labrinth is severing ties with Euphoria, just weeks before its final season premieres.
The musician, who serves as the show's composer, slammed the HBO series in a new Instagram post. The notes app message provided little detail but expressed frustration with the music industry as a whole. In the comments, fellow musicians supported the British artist.

"I'm done with this industry," Labrinth told his followers in a screenshot of a statement. "F*CK COLUMBIA. DOUBLE F*CK EUPHORIA. IM OUT," he wrote.
"THANK YOU AND GOODNIGHT X," he concluded, signing off.
Labrinth didn't provide a caption along with the photo, letting the few words do the talking. Columbia is the star's record label, so he appears to have industry-wide frustrations with the industry outside of the HBO teen drama.

The musician received support from fellow creatives in the comments. "Take care of your peace my love. You are loved and supported," singer Kesha wrote. Actor Noah Centineo simply added a heart emoji in support. Another musician, Skylar Grey, encouraged Labrinth to keep going with his craft, writing "Please don't stop making music the world needs you."
So far, HBO has not provided a statement about Labrinth's relationship with the show. Additionally, it's unknown if the musician's score will be present in the upcoming season of the show, set to premiere in a month's time.
Euphoria has long been a troubled production, despite its vast popularity and budget. Several actors, including Sydney Sweeney and Nika King have said that their salaries for the show wouldn't cover their cost of living.
Additionally, the show has been subject to several delays, with the last season wrapping up in 2022. The third season, now meant to be the final one, was halted by the 2023 Hollywood labor strikes. The show eventually wrapped up at the end of 2025.
