A dramatic new week of Days of Our Lives has been teased in a newly released weekly preview, showing Shawn Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) injured after suffering a gunshot wound while on duty.

The official Days of Our Lives YouTube channel posted a weekly preview for March 16, 2026 through March 20,2026.

The promo opens up with Arianna Horton (Marisa Reyes) confronting Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis). "I have hit my breaking point. I'm done, Holly. I'm so done." Ariana says in the tense moment.

The scene then shifts to Salem University Hospital, where a distraught Stephanie Johnson Kirakis (Abigail Klein) is comforted by her mother Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).

Meanwhile, at the police station, Rafe Gernandez (Galen Gering) questions Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey), asking, "Who brought you to town?"

At the DiMera estate, E.J. DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is arrested by Rafe and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), who explains how authorities connected E.J. to Stephanie's kidnapping.

Elsewhere, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) speaks with Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) in a hotel room, teasing, "Can you imagine the look on her face when she sees the two of us coming back."

Meanwhile, Vivian Alamain (Lousie Sorel) henchman Klaus confronts J.J. Deveraux (Casey Moss), and Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop). During the confrontation, Shawn Brady is shot, and the promo also suggest that Leo Stark may have been wounded.

Fans React:

Fans immediately took to the comment section of the YouTube preview to share their excitement on the upcoming storylines.

One user wrote, "Uh oh DAYS heating up! Looks like another good week."

A second user hopefully added, "Not my Shawn Douglas. Be better live. I'd love to see his parents back to see him back to health. If they don't come back for that then it's too crazy. Belle will be there for him and it'll be a wake up call for her I'm sure."

A third fan shared, "Days getting good. Can't wait for next week"

Days of Our Lives streams weekdays on Peacock.
