Republic of Ireland striker Troy Parrott came off the bench to score the winner as Real Betis beat Real Madrid - with Kylian Mbappe missing an injury-time penalty.

The Dubliner came on in the 68th minute and pounced to score from close range after Thibaut Courtois parried Nelson Deossa's header.

This was his third appearance and his first goal for Manuel Pellegrini's Betis since his £17.1m move from AZ Alkmaar.

Carlos Espi thought he had rescued a point for the visitors with an acrobatic volley from Vinicius Jr's cross but it was ruled out for offside by the video assistant referee.

And even later than that, Madrid were awarded a penalty for a foul on Vinicius but Mbappe's injury-time effort was saved by Alvaro Valles.

The result ended Jose Mourinho's three-game winning start to his second spell as Real Madrid manager.

Team USA is gearing up for the start of the 2026 FIBA World Cup. The roster consists of some great young talents like Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese, and Team USA also has a lot of experience in their locker room with players like Chelsea Gray, Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart.

Other stars that will represent the USA include Aliyah Boston, Jackie Young, Rhyne Howard, Kahleah Copper, Kiki Iriafen and Sonia Citron. While the training sessions have shown skills, the media availability has given us some hilarious moments between WNBA stars.

Recently, Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese went viral for pulling out dance moves. The fans were divided in their reactions. Some loved the fun banter, while some criticized the conduct in the USA jersey.

“Ladies and gentlemen, this is why CC is so likeable. She’s a very classy young lady,” one fan said.

Paige Bueckers pokes fun at Angel Reese for “Special Whistle”

During their banter-filled interview, Bueckers and Reese poked fun at each other for different things. They picked answers from each other for different ‘this or that’ questions. During that segment, Bueckers called out a moment against Reese that happened in a WNBA game earlier in the season.

Bueckers “stood her ground” during a play, but the foul was called. Recalling that moment, Reese argued that the ref had called it a foul.

Bueckers hilariously responded, “‘Cause you got a special whistle.”

The duo also imitated each other’s celebrations rather accurately making each other hysterical.

Prince William and Prince Harry aren’t thought to have been in contact since their grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s September 2022 funeral four years ago.

A sticking point for the future king remains how Harry wrote about Kate Middleton in his 2023 memoir, Spare.

Royal biographer Robert Jobson said that the Prince of Wales “wasn’t prepared” to let those comments slide.

The relationship between brothers Prince William and Prince Harry has been described as “so broken”—and a major sticking point for William is reportedly the treatment of his wife, Kate Middleton, in the pages of Harry’s 2023 memoir, Spare.

In the book, Harry described Kate as “the sister I’d always wanted,” but then detailed moments of tension, specifically between the Princess of Wales and Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle. According to royal biographer Robert Jobson, the Prince of Wales “could take” comments being made about himself by his younger brother, but comments about Kate crossed the line.

William, Jobson said, “wasn’t prepared” to let those comments made by Harry about Kate slide, the biographer told Hello!. Harry and Meghan, along with their children, are now back on U.K. soil and in closer physical proximity to members of the royal family than they’ve been in over six years—but Harry’s words about the future queen didn’t go “down too well,” Jobson told the outlet.

Speaking about William, he said, “I think he could take a lot of things being said about him, but he wasn’t prepared to have things said about her when she’s not in a position to answer back.”

That said, Jobson believes that the Prince and Princess of Wales are “going to rise above all this. I don’t think they’re going to be involved in a tit-for-tat.”

“I don’t think that, because Harry and Meghan are here making a bit of noise, that’s going to necessarily make them do anything,” he added of William and Kate. “I think that they’ll probably think, well, we’ve been down this road before. It creates a circus, and we’re not going to get involved.”

Other reports—like one from The Sunday Times—indicate that it’s Harry’s writings about Kate that leaves William “unlikely to forgive Harry anytime soon.”

“Those close to William say his brother rarely comes up in conversation,” a source told the outlet.

A recent report from People indicates that the Prince and Princess of Wales are resisting any “knee-jerk reaction” to Harry and Meghan’s return to the U.K. A close friend told the publication, “They are watching this space. It’s private—they don’t feel the need to say anything or demonstrate anything outwardly.”

Any type of reconciliation, the friend added, “will be a slow build. There is a deep sense of betrayal.” William and Harry aren’t thought to have been in contact since their grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s September 2022 funeral—four years ago this month.

The consensus seems to be that “William and Catherine will continue their lives of public service,” a friend of the couple told The Daily Mail. “They intend to lead by example.”

Jobson added that growing royal responsibilities will take precedence for William and Kate, telling Hello!, “William will take the lead, but it’s going to be a team effort. So I think they’re very focused on what’s ahead of them.”

Target has been on a mission to transform its stores.

The company wants shoppers to see it as more than a place to pick up groceries, household essentials, and everyday necessities.

Instead, Target wants to be a destination for fashion and discovery again. And the company is betting that one of the best ways to get there is by reminding shoppers of something they loved decades ago.

Enter Delia’s.

If you were a child of the ’90s, you most likely remember getting Delia’s catalogs in the mail and begging your parents to take a chance on those trendy sweaters and jeans.

Now, the iconic brand is back at Target with an exclusive collection designed to bring its signature look to both nostalgic millennials and a new generation of shoppers.

And Target isn’t stopping at the clothes. The retailer is also bringing back a version of the famous Delia’s catalog, a move that turns the collaboration into a full-blown nostalgia play.

Target takes aim at Gen Xers and older millennials

For shoppers who grew up in the 1990s and early 2000s, Delia’s was more than a clothing brand. Its mail-order catalogs became a cultural phenomenon, filled with colorful clothing, quirky accessories and styles that defined a generation of teen fashion.

Target’s new collection takes that aesthetic and updates it for today’s shopper.

The assortment includes graphic tees, baby tees, cargo pants, plaid and floral pieces, jackets, and accessories. Prices start at $8 – a relatively accessible starting point, making the collection another example of Target’s effort to combine fashion with value.

The retailer is also making the catalog part of the experience. Target is distributing a limited number of special throwback catalogs, bringing back one of the elements that made the original brand so memorable.

All told, bringing Delia’s to Target gives customers a reason to visit.

The company has been pushing harder into exclusive collaborations and culturally relevant merchandise as it works to increase traffic and strengthen its identity with consumers.

During Target’s second-quarter earnings call, CEO Michael Fiddelke shared an update on the company’s strategy.

“We entered the year with a refreshed strategy to put us on a new trajectory, one of sustainable growth,” he said.

“That means serving the busy families that shop us with that only-at-Target blend of style, design, quality, and of course, incredible value,” he continued. “We aspire to be the place families can count on for what they need, while also helping them discover what’s new, what’s next, and what will bring a little more joy to their everyday lives.”

Apparel is one category in particular where Target has plenty of room for growth. As such, the Delia’s collection is more than a retro fashion stunt. It’s a core part of the company’s strategy.

Target goes all-in on trends

Target is already seeing evidence that exclusive and trend-focused merchandise can create the traffic it wants.

During its most recent earnings call, the company said its LoveShackFancy collaboration was its largest design collaboration ever, while its Pokémon partnership generated record guest engagement and introduced thousands of new shoppers to Target.

“Our Pokemon collaboration inspired joy for fans of all ages and became one of the biggest fan moments in our history,” said Cara Sylvester, Target’s Chief Merchandising Officer.

More Retail:

Costco sees major shift in member behavior

Costco makes major investment in online shopping for members

The Delia’s collection fits into the same strategy of creating something shoppers can’t get everywhere else. And while younger shoppers may not get overly excited about it initially, it’s a chance to discover a brand that has effectively become vintage fashion.

That gives Target two potential customers for the price of one collaboration.

Of course, Target’s challenge will be turning the initial excitement into sustained apparel sales.

Management has already warned that apparel is a longer-lead-time business and that the turnaround won’t happen overnight.

But the retailer has made clear that fashion is part of the fight. And as Target works to restore its reputation as a style destination, bringing back a beloved ’90s brand may be exactly the kind of cultural moment the retailer needs.

Maurie Backman owns shares of Target.

There's two types of people in this world – the ones who stand outside the Orgy Dome and the ones who dare to go inside. The infamous Orgy Dome has been a main attraction at Burning Man Festival for 22 years - and each year, another crazy story emerges from there.

A statement from ATTOL reads: "The Orgy Dome has long been a space where freedom of expression, enthusiastic consent, and sexual choice are not just respected, but celebrated! In today’s world, it’s essential to create a space where people can explore their sexuality in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Here, consent is everything, and all individuals 18+ are welcomed, free from shame or stigma."

So what's it actually like in reality? After venturing inside the Orgy Dome, one woman has shared her experience and the three main rules everyone must abide by to ensure it remains a 'safe and fun' place to express yourself.

Maria Bartiromo 'fired' from Fox Business after exposing texts to White House in 'betrayal'

CNN's Kaitlan Collins exposes Donald Trump's 'pathetic' new gadget in Oval Office

On Reddit, she said: "I am an open-minded lesbian from Costa Rica and I travel to Burning Man to open my mind and chill and connect with people. I arrived at a fun camp with international people and the Israeli girl in the camp was talking about her experiences camping at the Orgy Dome, so I decided I wanted to go."

There are rules you must keep in mind before you even step inside – you must show your ID, as you have to be over 18-years-old, and you must have a partner with you.

The Orgy Dome at Burning Man Festival -Credit:orgydome/Instagram

However, you do not need to be involved romantically with this partner; you can bring along someone you just met at the festival moments earlier.

All in all, she said she waited in line for about 30 to 40 minutes and was given a wristband indicating she'd passed the first checks.

After this, you must attend a 30-minute consent talk to ensure everyone's safety inside. She said: "The dude is pretty serious. No phones, no drugs, no weird vibes. Respect. Which is something I do."

After this, you're allowed to pass further into the tent. She said: "You enter a lounge-like room to drop off coats. They give you a bucket for your scarf/underwear etc and condoms. You enter the room... The energy shifts into movement and sound."

Within seconds, she was involved in a consensual sexual encounter surrounded by others doing the same thing. However, there was an act the reveller turned down.

She didn't want to snuggle up to her sexual partner – because there were too many people waiting to use the venue and they didn't have time!

Recalling the encounter, the Burning Man attendee said: "At some point I zone out, I take it all in. The music in the lounge is playing songs in Spanish, I am a bit congested. He wants to cuddle. I tell him, 'Baby, this is not the place to cuddle, people are in line...

"We grab our stuff and we walk out, you say thanks to the dudes working there who clean the sheets. Like anything at Burning Man, it's weird, fun, and mind-opening. You gotta try it!"

Burning Man festival is all about self expression and escaping the chains of everyday life -Credit:Getty Images

While she didn't share how long she stayed inside the tent, some festival-goers have reported staying inside it for two hours at a time.

If orgies aren't your thing, thankfully there are other things to do at Burning Man. The open desert is filled with hundreds of massive, interactive, and often surreal art installations that are perfect for climbing, exploring, and photographing.

Revellers can take a ride on some of the mutant vehicles used to ferry people about. The art cars range from giant glowing pirate ships to mechanical fire-breathing octopuses. You can often hop on board to dance, listen to DJs, or just hitch a ride across the desert.

Visiting the Temple is also a must. This is a stunning, intricate wooden structure built every year as a quiet space for reflection, grief, and letting go. People leave photos, notes, and mementos before it is solemnly burned on the final night.

Plus, thousands of camps offer free daily events based on a gifting economy. You might stumble into a morning yoga class, a roller disco, a blacksmithing workshop, or a pop-up grilled cheese stand. It's certainly a very different place to spend the week than a typical 9-5!

Eora/Sydney indie-rockers Civic Video have unveiled their new EP Making Room For Others, alongside plans to take the record on the road for an East Coast tour.

Produced and mixed by Rick Austin (Charli Lucas, Tenderfoot, Sir Archer), the six-track collection sees the rising four-piece navigate the messy transition into adulthood, pairing deeply personal lyricism with soaring melodies, nostalgic atmospherics and big guitars.

Civic Video – ‘Say It Out Loud’

According to frontman Zac Newton-John, Making Room For Others emerged from a particularly strange and uncertain period in his early 20s.

“Making Room For Others came out of a very strange period of my life,” Newton-John explains. “I was 21/22 when I was writing it, and I think that age can be a particularly strange place to exist. You’re suddenly thrown into a world of adult responsibilities and feelings like heartbreak, loss and uncertainty, but you haven’t yet developed the maturity or hindsight to properly understand or rationalise those feelings.”

The EP’s title was inspired by a recording of philosopher Alan Watts, which appears at the end of its title track.

“That idea inspired the title Making Room For Others,” Newton-John continues. “It’s a confronting phrase that comes from a recording of philosopher Alan Watts, and I liked that. Making room doesn’t necessarily mean losing some part of yourself. It means allowing space for something else to grow.”

Sonically taking cues from the likes of Holy Holy and DMA’S, Making Room For Others moves between the intimacy of Just Like You and Terrified and the more propulsive sounds of Say It Out Loud and Get Back To It.

The release arrives amid a growing run of momentum for Civic Video, who’ve also announced a new booking deal with New World Artists.

The band have already ticked off appearances at Lost Paradise and Woodford Folk Festival, alongside sold-out headline shows at Sydney venues Waywards, The Lansdowne and The Vanguard. They’ve also shared stages with acts including The Rions, Rum Jungle, The VANNS, Daily J, Beddy Rays, The Terrys and Polish Club.

Next up, Civic Video will celebrate their new EP with a run of East Coast dates across October and November, hitting Newcastle, Old Bar, Wollongong, Sydney and Melbourne.

Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis began dating a year ago.

They celebrated their anniversary by spending time in Mallorca, Spain.

Aniston and Curtis were first photographed together there last year.

Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis celebrated a year of dating by going back to where it all began: Mallorca, Spain. The couple, who were first spotted together on the island, returned for a lengthy vacation last month.

“They spent a few weeks in Europe this summer, and it was a really nice getaway for them,” an unnamed source told Us Weeklyon September 3. “Mallorca is special because it was one of the first places they traveled together and where they were first seen together last summer. It was nice to be back there a year later, especially now that they’re in such a different place in their relationship.”

Aniston and Curtis were joined by some of the actress’s close friends, including actor Jason Bateman and stylist Jamie Mizrahi.

“They spent a lot of time on the water relaxed and were with some of Jen’s closest friends,” the insider continued. “Her friends have really embraced Jim. He’s part of the group now, and everyone gets along really well. That means a lot to Jen because her friends are such a big part of her life.”

Earlier this week, Curtis made rare comments about their relationship in a new interview. The hypnotherapist, 50, discussed how they handle disagreements while they’re still in their “honeymoon phase.”

Appearing on “The Jamie Kern Lima Show,” Curtis discussed using the Hoʻoponopono prayer, a traditional Hawaiian manta, in group therapy sessions. “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you,” Curtis said, repeating the popular meditation.

Host Jamie Kern Lima explained that she uses this prayer with her husband, calling it “so helpful” in the midst of a “disagreement” or “argument.” She then asked Curtis whether he uses the mantra—which he said has a “powerful vibrational frequency”—with Aniston, 57.

“We do a lot of meditation, we do a lot of talk,” Curtis replied. “We don’t use this particular prayer. We have. But it’s very easy.”
