Chris Evans opened up about life as a girl dad in a new video shared by a fan.

The MCU star welcomed daughter Alma with wife Alba Baptista, 29, last October.

The 44-year-old actor and Baptista tied the knot in 2023.

Chris Evans and his wife Alba Baptista, 29, can count themselves among Hollywood’s most limelight-shy couples. The 45-year-old Knives Out actor—who quietly welcomed his first child, a baby daughter, with the Portuguese star last October—has only stepped out with his wife on the red carpet twice, including a glam parents-night-out appearance at the Oscars in February. However, during a recent appearance, Evans gave fans a rare glimpse into his life as a girl dad as he opened up about his changing “priorities” as a father.

In a new video from a fan that was captured during Evans’s appearance at the Fan Expo Boston 2026 event earlier this month, the Avengers actor got candid about how welcoming a baby has shifted his mindset on his acting career. “I have a daughter now. You need a really good reason to want to go to work now,” Evans told the crowd of fans, adding, “[My] priorities have shifted a bit.”

It’s the first time that Evans—who quietly married Baptista in an intimate Cape Cod ceremony in 2023—has publicly spoken about the couple’s new addition. However, People previously confirmed that the duo became a family of three when they welcomed their baby daughter, who they revealed is named Alma Grace Baptista Evans, on October 24 in Massachusetts. At the time, insiders also shared that Evans and Baptista were basking in their newfound parenthood.

“They’re enjoying their privacy and these special first few days as a family with their baby,” a source told People. Meanwhile, a second insider revealed, “Chris is completely in awe of his daughter. He’s been soaking in every quiet moment and couldn’t be more proud to be a girl dad.”

Evans—who was first linked to Baptista in 2022—appeared to have marriage and babies on the brain while chatting with People for his “Sexiest Man Alive” cover that same year. “That’s absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family,” Evans said at the time. He explained, “When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared.”

Brooklyn Beckham is being accused of deliberately provoking food fans for publicity with his latest cooking effort after appearing to scoop seawater straight from the ocean before using the same saucepan to prepare tomato pasta.

RadarOnline.com can reveal the 27-year-old, who has pursued his passion for cooking through videos shared with his millions of social media followers, posted the unusual recipe on TikTok.

Brooklyn Beckham's Sea Water Pasta

Brooklyn Beckham scooped seawater directly from the ocean using a large saucepan.@brooklynbeckham/TikTok

The aspiring chef is currently estranged from parents David Beckham, 51, and Victoria Beckham, 52, as well as siblings Romeo Beckham, 23, Cruz Beckham, 21, and Harper Beckham, 15.

A source familiar with the reaction to his latest online cookery effort said: "Brooklyn knows his cooking videos always get people talking, but this one really touched a nerve. Viewers saw him apparently collecting water directly from the sea and immediately started questioning what might be in it. Others were convinced he must simply be trying to provoke a reaction and fury from foodies."

The TikTok video, captioned "Tomato pasta (heart emoji, heart emoji)," begins with Brooklyn announcing his latest dish.

"Today, I'm going to make some tomato pasta," he told his fans.

Brooklyn was then shown standing on a platform beside the water and lowering a large saucepan into the sea while "getting some pasta water."

The following section appeared to show him using the same saucepan while preparing his tomato pasta, prompting criticism from viewers concerned about potential pollutants in seawater.

Brooklyn Beckham Accused Of Rage Baiting Viewers

Critics have raised health concerns about toxic pollutants in seawater.@brooklynbeckham/TikTok

One commenter said: "Gross. Takes seawater from the engine where oil and chemicals leak through. Boiling seawater doesn't kill chemical pollutants, heavy metals, and all toxins."

Another wrote: "Oh god people urinate in that sea!" Others said it would "poison" viewers who chose to follow the recipe.

The video also prompted accusations of "rage baiting" – deliberately publishing provocative material designed to generate angry responses and drive engagement.

One viewer claimed: "He just rage-baiting at this point" Another said: "There's no way this is serious"

A source exclusively told Radar: "Some people clearly believe Brooklyn understands exactly how much attention these unconventional cooking moments generate. Whether that was his intention or not, the seawater clip has certainly achieved that – people are arguing about it, sharing it and watching it in huge numbers."

Brooklyn Beckham's Cooking Video Goes Viral

Supportive fans defended the young influencer against online hate.MEGA

Brooklyn's cooking has generated extensive discussion online as he continues establishing himself in the food world. His latest video has already attracted more than 1.4 million views.

The reaction also spilled into discussion of Brooklyn's ongoing estrangement from his famous family.

One follower told him: "Forget making pasta, you need to make amends"

But Brooklyn also received support from viewers who questioned why his cooking attracted such hostility.

One supporter wrote: "I think he is sweet!! And he has a passion for cooking which is clear!! So hard for a child of a celeb!! He just wants to live his life happy like we all do."

Another noted: "Why does everyone just hate on him in the comments? It's actually so sad. Hope you all find peace one day."

Brooklyn Beckham's Family Feud

Brooklyn Beckham, here with wife Nicola Peltz, cut ties with his famous parents and siblings.MEGA

Brooklyn's feud with his parents has developed into a highly public family rift as tensions have repeatedly spilled into public view through social media and reports about family gatherings.

The influencer has spoken publicly about the breakdown in relations and his determination to protect his marriage to Nicola Peltz Beckham, saying he has cut ties with his mother and father due to his view that they are obsessed with using social media only to promote "brand Beckham."

Adam Sandler is known to be one of the most down to earth A-list celebs. Whether he's getting turned away by an IHOP hostess, showing up to major red-carpet events in a Hawaiian shirt and athleisure pants, or just walking around NYC in basketball shorts, he's never been one to flaunt what he's worked hard to have. While he's known to dress however he pleases no matter the occasion, his daughters Sunny and Sadie Sandler, who have had complete transformations, have opted to do the total opposite.

Sunny, who has begun making a name of her own in showbiz by starring in films like "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah" and "Kinda Pregnant," is also proving she just might be a red-carpet superstar. The comedian's youngest daughter is trading in her family's casual premiere looks for some show-stopping Hollywood appropriate red carpet glam.

With her film, "Don't Say Good Luck" premiering in August 2026, Glam thought it would be the perfect time to look back at Sunny's red-carpet evolution and share her best looks yet. The best part about Sunny's red-carpet looks just might be that they're so age-appropriate. From jeans and a T-shirt to gorgeous floor-length gowns, these are some of Sunny's best red-carpet looks.

In June 2023, Sunny Sandler and her mom, Jackie Sandler, who has had a beautiful evolution, accompanied Adam Sandler to the premiere of "The Out-Laws." Photos of the family at the event made it clear — Sunny was no longer the little girl that would attend NBA games with her famous dad, and she was officially stepping into her own light. The then-14-year-old chose to wear a floral maxi dress by Reformation, which felt like the perfect choice for a teenager.

It's beyond refreshing to see kids of celebs dress their age, and Sunny Sandler is the perfect example. Whether it's the influence of her parents or just her preference, Sunny has always opted to wear modest and down-to-earth ensembles. In September 2023, the then-14-year-old showed up to an event hosted by Lee in a cropped white crewneck tee and high-waisted jeans paired with white sneakers. There weren't any designer logos or an overly mature silhouette in sight, and that's what made the look so teen-girl chic.

The older celebrity children get, the more they open their eyes to their unlimited resources. They could dress in custom runway pieces every single time they step out, but Sunny Sandler proved you don't need to break the bank to deliver a major fashion moment. While attending the 2024 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, she stood out in the SNDYS x REVOLVE Angel Strapless Dress, which retails for under $100. Besides the refreshing, relatable price tag, the pop of color was a fun choice.

Sunny Sandler made it clear she still loves a casual look

For the "Happy Gilmore 2" premiere in July 2025, Sunny Sandler proved she's her father's daughter by keeping things comfortable. While her mom opted for a black ballgown, Sunny and her sister embraced a relaxed denim look. Sunny made her casual look so Gen Z-coded by pairing it with a white tee. Comparing the jeans and T-shirt look in 2025 to the one in 2023 shows just how much she's grown up and how her style is ever-evolving. And Sunny definitely knows the formula for styling wide-leg jeans.

Sunny Sandler proved she was all grown up at the Venice International Film Festival in 2025. She stunned in an elegant white floor-length halter gown. As usual, she kept her jewelry minimal, but the gown itself was the star of the show. Wearing her long dark hair straight with a clean middle part and a polished beauty look, she brought effortless sophistication to a major red-carpet event. The most impressive part? She managed to do all of that without looking out of character for her age.

A year can make a huge difference for a growing teen, and Sunny Sandler's appearance in August 2026 for the premiere of her movie "Don't Say Good Luck" proved she has officially stepped into her leading lady era. The actor stunned in a deep emerald backless dress by Tom Ford that exuded main character energy on the red carpet. We can confidently tell you this is her best look yet, as it framed her figure perfectly and brought a quiet luxury vibe to the premiere.

Matthew Rhys auditioned to play a biopic role that ultimately went to Edward Norton.

He said that he “felt crappy” after losing the part: “It’s terrible.”

However, he also said that the experience “enlivened me again.”

Matthew Rhys has very mixed feelings about missing out on a role that eventually landed an Oscar nomination.

The Americans star reflected on auditioning to play Pete Seeger — a part that ultimately went to Edward Norton — in James Mangold’s 2024 Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown.

“I was like, Who got it? And they went, Ed Norton. I was, like, Oh, OK,” Rhys toldThe New York Times. “But it’s terrible. I felt crappy, because it reminds you of everything you used to do.”

However, Rhys said that experiencing that rejection was also oddly encouraging. “You used to make yourself vulnerable,” he explained. “You used to give yourself all this hope and then you’d be knocked down. It was good. It enlivened me again.”

Rhys said that continuing to audition for roles helps him maintain his passion and motivation, even if he doesn’t get every role. “That’s what drives the need to go and still do that at this stage,” he said. “And also, if you want something, get after it. Prove to them you can do it. I was kind of relieved that I still had that hunger.”

Most of Rhys’ most notable work has come on the small screen, but he has his sights set on film. “Movies to me are still the grail. The Oscars still have the allure to me,” he said. “That’s another echelon. You always think, especially with the awards, that it’ll fulfill some gaping hole that has been there your entire life. You go, If I just win an award, it’ll fulfill everything, and it does nothing. Whatever hole you’re trying to fill is still very much at the center of your gut.”

Rhys is a rare double nominee at the Emmys this year, as he was recognized for both his comedic performance on Widow’s Bay and his dramatic turn on The Beast in Me. He reflected on whether these nominations make him feel more secure in his career.

“I find myself at moments going, Maybe I can relax,” he said. “And then you go, Oh, that’s the death knell if you do. I’ve just been through the up and down so much, I’m never quite comfortable. And in a way, it keeps you a little bit hungry.”

The Perry Mason star said that he’s simultaneously pessimistic and optimistic about the trajectory of his career at any given moment — and he tries not to worry too much about his momentum after inheriting wisdom from his A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood costar Tom Hanks.

“I have the parrot that keeps saying: [parrot voice] ‘It’s all gonna fail! It’s all going to go downhill!’ I have that all the time,” he said. “This sounds like a perverse name drop, but Tom Hanks’s motto is ‘This, too, shall pass.’ He says that about everything. You’ve been out of work for a long time? This, too, shall pass. You win two Oscars? This, too, shall pass.”

Rhys pointed to a West End play that he performed in 2000 as a moment of particular confidence. “I remember after doing The Graduate with Kathleen Turner, thinking I was on an ascent. Like, this is it,” he said. “And then I was out of work for a long time.”

That experience helped Rhys recognize the inherent volatility of an actor’s career. “I realized the entire journey is the roller coaster,” he said. “You’re up, and then you’re down, and you’re up. So this is just a moment. It’s a fantastic moment, but it’s a moment.”

Spoiler alert! We're discussing important plot points and the ending of “The End of Oak Street” (in theaters now), so beware if you haven’t seen it yet.

Ewan McGregor enjoys a little bit of everything in the sci-fi thriller “The End of Oak Street.” He gets eaten by a dinosaur in the movie’s most gruesome scene, yet his character still has a happy ending.

Director David Robert Mitchell’s film centers on the Platt family – dad Greg (Ewan McGregor), mom Denise (Anne Hathaway) and children Audrey (Maisy Stella) and Brian (Christian Convery) – who live in a quaint Michigan neighborhood circa 1982. Things get weird one night when the place is rocked by weird lights and the next day, dinosaurs start appearing in the streets and eating residents.

The Platts discover that their entire neighborhood has been transported, via mysterious wormhole, to the prehistoric era. Greg and Denise are having some marital issues, but everybody needs to put other concerns aside to stay alive with nasty raptors and other hungry beasties around.

Unfortunately, Greg meets a bad fate while the family is in survival mode. To protect his loved ones, he smashes a T. rex-y dino in the face with a sledgehammer, but just as Greg thinks they’re going to be OK, the creature attacks, biting his leg off and leaving him on the ground screaming in agony. Denise and the kids are horrified and have to leave quickly as the dinosaur eats what’s left of the devoted dad.

McGregor likens his surprise death to Samuel L. Jackson getting eaten out of nowhere by a shark in a famous scene from “Deep Blue Sea.” “You just don't expect it and the director chooses a moment where you really (catch) the audience off guard,” McGregor says. “I’ve knocked the dinosaur out and I suppose everyone thinks that the dinosaur's out for the count. And then it just snaps round and gets me.

“I mean, it's a funny moment, I think. And then quite gnarly,” says the actor, who’s gotten a kick out of watching fellow moviegoers react when that scene occurs. “I just enjoyed the fact that I knew it was about to happen and audience didn’t. It made me laugh.”

That’s not the end of Greg’s story, however. Denise and the kids escape this dino-filled landscape by jumping through a wormhole. But in a bit of a “Back to the Future”-style twist, they wind up going back in time, a little bit before the lights flash and everything goes “Jurassic World.”

The survivors get out of the neighborhood so they don't get transported back to the jurassic era again, and knowing that Greg’s out delivering pizzas, Denise uses a payphone to order a pie, thereby getting him also out of the affected area and saving him from being eaten.

McGregor enjoyed the idea of Greg making it out alive so “the mending” of his and Denise’s relationship can happen, he says. Though when it comes to how the ending plays out with different versions of the characters, “it got very complicated for me. I try not to bother about it too much and said the lines, and I'm happy to be there at the end of the film. I'll let the sort of scientists figure out how it works or the quantum theorists figure out if it's possible or not.”

And the Scottish actor reports that wasn’t even the original ending. The “more interesting” initial finale had Denise and the youngsters jumping through the portal and winding up “in the prairies during the settlers’ times,” McGregor says. “They hadn't made it back to their own time, and poor old Greg wasn't there.”

Taylor Swift might be settling down, but she's not slowing down in the style department anytime soon.

Nearly two months after her wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden, the pop superstar unveiled a new haircut during an outing in London on Wednesday, Aug. 12, according to photos obtained by Entertainment Tonight.

Swift, who was spotted leaving the private members' club Annabel's, sported a notably shorter do: a shoulder-length cut with a crop of sweeping bangs. The Grammy-winning singer, 36, wore a floral-printed, lilac minidress by Delphine for the occasion, which she topped off with a pair of strappy high heels and a sparkly handbag.

The appearance marks Swift's first major outing since tying the knot with Kelce at the iconic New York City venue on July 3. The star-studded nuptials featured a bevy of A-list guests, including Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, Adam Sandler and Zoë Kravitz.

While the pair's megawatt wedding has generated headlines, details from the ceremony are scant, as photos and videos of the event have yet to be released.

Kelce gave fans a glimpse into the couple's marital bliss earlier this week while speaking to reporters at training camp.

"Wedding was the best night of my life," the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said on Wednesday, calling the festivities a "crazy night."

"I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us," Kelce, 36, added.

President Donald Trump on Friday dismissed concerns from families of service members about the grim conditions aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, whose deployment had been overextended in the Middle East due to the Iran war.

In interviews with NBC News and otheroutlets, family members of some of the thousands of people aboard the ship have described a lack of supplies and food and an overall deteriorating mental health situation with multiple sailors having attempted to jump overboard.

NBC News asked Trump, who was speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews, whether the deployments have gone on for too long and whether he’s worried about troops’ mental health.

“No. No. No — not nearly long enough,” Trump said.

Danielle Rappa, whose son has been deployed on the ship, told NBC News that the situation was like a “scene out of the ‘American Horror Story,’ where ... everybody’s dead, but they don’t know it yet.” She said that she had noticed a change in his mood as his deployment dragged on. “Where he had been very positive, he started getting very dark,” she said.

Trump also told reporters Friday that the Lincoln is “moving right now or very shortly” and that “it’s being replaced with another very similar ship.” The USS George Washington is expected to replace the Lincoln in the Middle East, a U.S. official told NBC News.

Melanie Stowe, whose daughter is serving aboard the Lincoln, said that the “deployment date keeps getting moved up, and then it gets moved back, and it gets moved up.”

Both Stowe and Rappa said their children have told them about a fellow sailor jumping overboard. A U.S. official said Thursday that a sailor assigned to the Lincoln’s air wing went overboard in early August and was quickly rescued and treated. That sailor was transferred off the ship for further medical care, the official said.

U.S. military leaders have been privately raising concerns inside the Pentagon and the White House about low morale and widespread fatigue among American service members who’ve been deployed for months to support the war with Iran, two U.S. officials said.

More than 50,000 troops have been deployed to support the U.S.- and Israel-led war with Iran.

A typical deployment for a carrier is roughly six to seven months and includes regular stops at ports to refresh and replenish food supplies. Aboard the Lincoln, the circumstances for the 5,000 sailors and Marines have become particularly troubling, according to U.S. officials.

The last port visit was in Guam in December — the vessel has been at sea for 244 consecutive days.

Fewer stops at ports have led to a limited amount of supplies and fresh food on the ships, and service members and their families have pointed to these worsening living conditions aboard the Lincoln.

A U.S. official said Thursday that the “Lincoln is operating in a highly contested environment where traditional supply hubs in the Middle East were disrupted by combat actions. In response, leadership prioritized mission-critical supplies: first food, then hygiene items, then mail. Current reports from the ship confirm continuous access to clean water, functional AC and healthy meal options.”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told reporters Thursday that the reports are being “completely misrepresented.”

“We make sure that every ship, every crew, every captain has everything we can provide them at every single moment,” he said aboard the USS Gridley in Panama. “Some deployments are longer than others, and I have more respect and gratitude for those sailors than anybody.”

It could take several weeks for the replacement of the Lincoln by the George Washington to be complete. It will likely take at least two weeks for the Lincoln to return to its home base of San Diego.

Several Democratic lawmakers are demanding that the Trump administration provide answers about these extended deployments.

In a letter Wednesday to Hegseth and acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao, Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., said reports about the conditions aboard the Lincoln “warrant immediate attention” and raise the question of “whether the Navy can sustain the operational tempo now being demanded of its carrier force.”

Sen. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., a Marine Corps veteran who served in the Iraq War, said on X that the Navy must allow a bipartisan congressional delegation to visit the aircraft carrier “to conduct oversight investigation into this horrible situation.”
