Three of hip-hop and R&B's biggest groups are teaming up for a major moment in music history.

TLC and Salt-N-Pepa will hit the road together for the first time ever on a co-headlining North American tour, joined by fellow R&B icons En Vogue as a special guest.

Dubbed the "It's Iconic" tour, the Live Nation-produced run marks the first time the three influential female groups will share the stage together, celebrating decades of music that helped define a generation.

The announcement comes just days before the trio is set to appear together at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 26, airing on FOX, in their first joint performance.

Fans can expect a night packed with some of the most recognizable hits — from TLC's "No Scrubs," "Waterfalls" and "Creep" to Salt-N-Pepa's "Push It," "Shoop" and "Whatta Man" along with En Vogue favorites like "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)," Free Your Mind" and "Don't Let Go (Love)."

"It's going to be so much for them," Salt-N-Pepa's Sandra "Pepa" Denton said in a video interview with her tourmates released on Monday, March 23. "Overwhelming almost. All the music that's going to be played? It's like, 'Oh my God! Oh my God! OH MY GOD!' "

"This show is going to be crazy," added Cheryl "Salt" James. "I feel like this is going to be the most fun touring experience I've ever had. And I feel like we're going to feel the queens in the building, you know what I mean? Like, we earned this seat!"

The three groups went on to discuss the sisterhood between them, explaining that they want to create an evening for concertgoers free from competition and filled with "super girl power."

"Having all of us come together, it's a cultural olympian," En Vogue's Terry Ellis said. "And just being able to work with these ladies. They represent resilience, empowerment, and to be a part of that? They're legends."

"You're legends," said TLC's Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas.

"We're all legends!" James said.

TLC — made up of Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Thomas — remains the best-selling American girl group of all time, with more than 85 million records sold worldwide and a catalog of era-defining hits. Over three decades, the group has earned multiple Grammys and built a legacy that's continued to make a cultural impact while still honoring its third member, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, who tragically died in a car crash in 2002.

Salt-N-Pepa, the groundbreaking duo of James and Denton alongside Deidra "Spinderella" Roper, helped reshape hip-hop as one of the first all-female rap groups to achieve mainstream success. With trailblazing tracks like "Let's Talk About Sex," the group broke barriers in a male-dominated genre and became the first female rap act to win a Grammy. They were recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

En Vogue, meanwhile, stands as one of the most successful vocal groups in modern music history, with more than 20 million records sold worldwide and a string of No. 1 R&B hits. Known for their powerful harmonies and sleek style, the group — which includes members Cindy Herron, Ellis and Maxine Jones — helped redefine contemporary R&B.
