Sometimes the show just can't go on.
Rosalía wasn't able to make it through her Milan concert on Wednesday and was ultimately forced to end the show early by making a candid announcement to the crowd.
In fan-recorded footage shared on social media, the Spanish singer-songwriter was captured warning fans that the concert would likely be cut short.
"I've tried to do this show since the very beginning but I've been sick," she told the crowd. "I've had, like, big time food poisoning and I tried to push through until the end, but I'm feeling extremely sick. I'm puking out here."
She continued, "I really want to give the best show, and I'm like on the floor doing my best."

Rosalía told attendees that while "I can try to continue" it's possible that "at some point I might have to stop." She added, "I'm extremely sick, and I'm really trying. I'm gonna push as much as I can, but we might have to [stop] if I really physically can't keep going."
Pressing a hand to her stomach, she reiterated, "I'm in pain."
Shortly afterwards, Rosalía confirmed that she was indeed scrapping the show, telling fans, "I've tried by all means to continue the show until the end, but I'm really unwell and I can't do it." She then waved goodbye to the crowd before slowly exiting the stage.
On Thursday afternoon, the singer shared an update to social media, thanking fans for their understanding. The Instagram Stories post featured a snap of Rosalía on a stretcher, giving a thumbs up to the camera with one hand and holding a bag of IV fluid in the other.
"Feeling better," she captioned the post. "Thank you so much for all the love and understanding from everyone who was there."

The Grammy-winner is currently in the middle of her *Lux* Tour 2026, which will see the singer perform 42 arena shows in 17 countries, from March through the beginning of September. The "La Fama" singer kicked things off in Lyon, France, on March 16 and is due to arrive in North America in June. Her next performance date is set for March 30 at the Movistar Arena in Madrid.
Rosalía has previously been open about the pressure that comes with touring, and the dedication she puts towards not disappointing her fans.

"For me, performing is an act for others," the singer told *Billboard* while teasing the Lux tour in November. "I don't like touring. I like to be onstage and I love my fans, so I do it. But I love being in my home, calm, reading, cooking, going to the gym, lifting weights and going to sleep… But I also know that there are other jobs that have so much complexity and challenges, and I feel so grateful that I can be a musician."

In that same conversation, Rosalía pointed out that touring and the lifestyle of a recording artist requires a degree of sacrifice because of the amount of time and energy required to perform. She recounted attending the Latin Grammys in 2019, noting she was just about to get onstage when she learned that her grandfather had died.
"I couldn't even be at the burial. Those things, I'll have to live with the sadness and the regret of not being there," she told the outlet. "Those are things that are not the good side of being a musician: always struggling, always being committed to whatever you're doing, to the people who are there in the audience that night who paid for their ticket to see your performance."
She added, "Maybe that's the thing they're looking forward to the most that week. The price is really high, but this is what I chose, and I'm fully conscious that this is the decision I've made."
