Selena Quintanillas Killer Files for Parole 30 Years After Murder, Claiming She Has Bounty on Her Head
The woman convicted of killing Grammy Award winning Selena Quintanilla has filed for parole nearly three decades after the murder. Yolanda SaldÃvar, who was the 23-year-old's business associate and president of her fan club, killed Quintanilla on March 31, 1995, in Corpus Christi, Texas. SaldÃvar was convicted in October of that year and sentenced to life, with the possibility of parole in 30 years. According to online records from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, SaldÃvar has applied for parole, for which she will become eligible on March 30.
