Donald Trump has announced a 25 percent tariff on Mexico and Canada and a 10 percent import duty on goods from China that will go into effect on Saturday. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made the bombshell announcement that Trump intended to launch a $1.6 trillion war with America's biggest trading partners in an effort to boost domestic manufacturing and raise revenues for the federal government. 'Starting tomorrow, those tariffs will be in place,' Leavitt told reporters.
