DC plane crash live: Passengers 'pulled from Potomac River' after American Airlines flight 'carrying 64' collides with Black Hawk helicopter
The passenger plane carrying 64 people which crashed into the Potomac River has reportedly been 'split in half' from the collision. Emergency crews and divers from across the nation rushed to Washington DC and are desperately trying to search the frigid waters for survivors. Initial reports say four passengers have so far been pulled from the river. American Airlines has confirmed 60 passengers and four crew were on board the plane when it collided with a military helicopter.
