There's two types of people in this world – the ones who stand outside the Orgy Dome and the ones who dare to go inside. The infamous Orgy Dome has been a main attraction at Burning Man Festival for 22 years - and each year, another crazy story emerges from there.

A statement from ATTOL reads: "The Orgy Dome has long been a space where freedom of expression, enthusiastic consent, and sexual choice are not just respected, but celebrated! In today’s world, it’s essential to create a space where people can explore their sexuality in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Here, consent is everything, and all individuals 18+ are welcomed, free from shame or stigma."

So what's it actually like in reality? After venturing inside the Orgy Dome, one woman has shared her experience and the three main rules everyone must abide by to ensure it remains a 'safe and fun' place to express yourself.

On Reddit, she said: "I am an open-minded lesbian from Costa Rica and I travel to Burning Man to open my mind and chill and connect with people. I arrived at a fun camp with international people and the Israeli girl in the camp was talking about her experiences camping at the Orgy Dome, so I decided I wanted to go."

There are rules you must keep in mind before you even step inside – you must show your ID, as you have to be over 18-years-old, and you must have a partner with you.

However, you do not need to be involved romantically with this partner; you can bring along someone you just met at the festival moments earlier.

All in all, she said she waited in line for about 30 to 40 minutes and was given a wristband indicating she'd passed the first checks.

After this, you must attend a 30-minute consent talk to ensure everyone's safety inside. She said: "The dude is pretty serious. No phones, no drugs, no weird vibes. Respect. Which is something I do."

After this, you're allowed to pass further into the tent. She said: "You enter a lounge-like room to drop off coats. They give you a bucket for your scarf/underwear etc and condoms. You enter the room... The energy shifts into movement and sound."

Within seconds, she was involved in a consensual sexual encounter surrounded by others doing the same thing. However, there was an act the reveller turned down.

She didn't want to snuggle up to her sexual partner – because there were too many people waiting to use the venue and they didn't have time!

Recalling the encounter, the Burning Man attendee said: "At some point I zone out, I take it all in. The music in the lounge is playing songs in Spanish, I am a bit congested. He wants to cuddle. I tell him, 'Baby, this is not the place to cuddle, people are in line...

"We grab our stuff and we walk out, you say thanks to the dudes working there who clean the sheets. Like anything at Burning Man, it's weird, fun, and mind-opening. You gotta try it!"

While she didn't share how long she stayed inside the tent, some festival-goers have reported staying inside it for two hours at a time.

If orgies aren't your thing, thankfully there are other things to do at Burning Man. The open desert is filled with hundreds of massive, interactive, and often surreal art installations that are perfect for climbing, exploring, and photographing.

Revellers can take a ride on some of the mutant vehicles used to ferry people about. The art cars range from giant glowing pirate ships to mechanical fire-breathing octopuses. You can often hop on board to dance, listen to DJs, or just hitch a ride across the desert.

Visiting the Temple is also a must. This is a stunning, intricate wooden structure built every year as a quiet space for reflection, grief, and letting go. People leave photos, notes, and mementos before it is solemnly burned on the final night.

Plus, thousands of camps offer free daily events based on a gifting economy. You might stumble into a morning yoga class, a roller disco, a blacksmithing workshop, or a pop-up grilled cheese stand. It's certainly a very different place to spend the week than a typical 9-5!

Eora/Sydney indie-rockers Civic Video have unveiled their new EP Making Room For Others, alongside plans to take the record on the road for an East Coast tour.

Produced and mixed by Rick Austin (Charli Lucas, Tenderfoot, Sir Archer), the six-track collection sees the rising four-piece navigate the messy transition into adulthood, pairing deeply personal lyricism with soaring melodies, nostalgic atmospherics and big guitars.

Civic Video – ‘Say It Out Loud’

According to frontman Zac Newton-John, Making Room For Others emerged from a particularly strange and uncertain period in his early 20s.

“Making Room For Others came out of a very strange period of my life,” Newton-John explains. “I was 21/22 when I was writing it, and I think that age can be a particularly strange place to exist. You’re suddenly thrown into a world of adult responsibilities and feelings like heartbreak, loss and uncertainty, but you haven’t yet developed the maturity or hindsight to properly understand or rationalise those feelings.”

The EP’s title was inspired by a recording of philosopher Alan Watts, which appears at the end of its title track.

“That idea inspired the title Making Room For Others,” Newton-John continues. “It’s a confronting phrase that comes from a recording of philosopher Alan Watts, and I liked that. Making room doesn’t necessarily mean losing some part of yourself. It means allowing space for something else to grow.”

Sonically taking cues from the likes of Holy Holy and DMA’S, Making Room For Others moves between the intimacy of Just Like You and Terrified and the more propulsive sounds of Say It Out Loud and Get Back To It.

The release arrives amid a growing run of momentum for Civic Video, who’ve also announced a new booking deal with New World Artists.

The band have already ticked off appearances at Lost Paradise and Woodford Folk Festival, alongside sold-out headline shows at Sydney venues Waywards, The Lansdowne and The Vanguard. They’ve also shared stages with acts including The Rions, Rum Jungle, The VANNS, Daily J, Beddy Rays, The Terrys and Polish Club.

Next up, Civic Video will celebrate their new EP with a run of East Coast dates across October and November, hitting Newcastle, Old Bar, Wollongong, Sydney and Melbourne.

Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis began dating a year ago.

They celebrated their anniversary by spending time in Mallorca, Spain.

Aniston and Curtis were first photographed together there last year.

Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis celebrated a year of dating by going back to where it all began: Mallorca, Spain. The couple, who were first spotted together on the island, returned for a lengthy vacation last month.

“They spent a few weeks in Europe this summer, and it was a really nice getaway for them,” an unnamed source told Us Weeklyon September 3. “Mallorca is special because it was one of the first places they traveled together and where they were first seen together last summer. It was nice to be back there a year later, especially now that they’re in such a different place in their relationship.”

Aniston and Curtis were joined by some of the actress’s close friends, including actor Jason Bateman and stylist Jamie Mizrahi.

“They spent a lot of time on the water relaxed and were with some of Jen’s closest friends,” the insider continued. “Her friends have really embraced Jim. He’s part of the group now, and everyone gets along really well. That means a lot to Jen because her friends are such a big part of her life.”

Earlier this week, Curtis made rare comments about their relationship in a new interview. The hypnotherapist, 50, discussed how they handle disagreements while they’re still in their “honeymoon phase.”

Appearing on “The Jamie Kern Lima Show,” Curtis discussed using the Hoʻoponopono prayer, a traditional Hawaiian manta, in group therapy sessions. “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you,” Curtis said, repeating the popular meditation.

Host Jamie Kern Lima explained that she uses this prayer with her husband, calling it “so helpful” in the midst of a “disagreement” or “argument.” She then asked Curtis whether he uses the mantra—which he said has a “powerful vibrational frequency”—with Aniston, 57.

“We do a lot of meditation, we do a lot of talk,” Curtis replied. “We don’t use this particular prayer. We have. But it’s very easy.”

You can't miss the fashion at the Venice International Film Festival.

The Clooneys, for example, hit the red carpet in matching formal wear.

A few other stars, like Jewel, unfortunately missed the mark.

It's lights, camera, fashion at the Venice International Film Festival.

New films will be screened, and the cinema will be celebrated at the annual festival, held on the island of Venice Lido from September 2 through September 12.

Each day will also welcome new celebrity guests who will hit the red carpet in eye-catching fashion.

Here's a look at the best and worst outfits so far.

Jonathan Bailey looked dapper in a tuxedo and scarf.

The "Wicked" actor wore black trousers with a satin cummerbund, a textured white top with a velvet bow tie, and an oversize blazer draped with a thin scarf.

Each piece of the suit complemented the others, and its loose fit gave the outfit a cool edge. Bailey completed the look with sunglasses.

J Balvin's outfit looked a little too much like pajamas.

The six-time Latin Grammy winner hit the red carpet in a printed, oversize suit from Emporio Armani.

Though its brown diamond print was regal, its satin material and baggy fit made it look too casual for a red carpet.

Still, he elevated the look with Miu Miu aviator glasses, diamond jewelry, and a massive gold watch.

The Clooneys matched in elegant formal wear.

The Clooneys are one of the best-dressed couples in Hollywood, so it's no surprise they arrived at the Venice Film Festival in style.

George Clooney wore a classic tuxedo with a bow tie and textured button-up top, while Amal Clooney sported a custom Tom Ford gown designed by Haider Ackermann.

It was sleeveless, form-fitting, and ruched from top to bottom.

Claire Foy probably should have ditched one accessory.

Foy matched the red carpet in a vibrant, satin gown from Bottega Veneta. It was sleeveless with a scoop neckline, a wrapped waist, and a long skirt.

The dress itself could have worked for "The Crown" star, but the leather, full-length gloves she wore distracted from the look.

Madisin Rian shimmered her way down the red carpet.

The model and influencer arrived on the red carpet wearing a sequin-covered gown from Giorgio Armani.

The halter dress was striking with its swirled pattern, shimmering attachments, and its plunging neckline. She perfected the look with silver sandals and statement diamond jewelry.

Jewel's animal-print dress was a bit confusing.

Jewel chose an animal-print gown from the Italian designer Genny for the film event.

The form-fitting piece was long and sparkling, with a deep neckline that revealed a ruched mesh halter top. The latter was also adorned with velvet, crystal-encrusted bows.

The piece distracted from what could have been a bold and memorable fashion moment.

Domhnall Gleeson proved that brown is his color.

He posed for photographers in a chocolate-brown suit, a matching top, leather dress shoes, and a bow tie.

Not only did the suit's color perfectly complement his red hair, but it was also well-tailored to him.

Dolly Parton’s niece, Jada Star, is shedding some light on the Queen of Country’s final days before her death at age 80.

A week after Parton died following her battle with cancer, 47-year-old Star told Extra that the singer’s family had kept her diagnosis hidden from the public out of care for her fans.

“You know, we kind of kept all that stuff real private,” Star told the outlet. “She never wanted to worry anybody.”

“So Tuesday was just a shock,” she added of Parton’s August 25 death.

After Parton’s death was announced by her nephew, Bryan Seaver, her publicist confirmed in a statement that she had a “brief battle with cancer,” although further details about her illness were not disclosed.

“After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Centre surrounded by loved ones,” her publicist Marcel Pariseau said.

Parton had shared a rare update on her health in her final interview before her death. In the story published August 21, she told People magazine that she had faced “hard times with my health” following the death of her husband Carl Dean, who died in March 2025 aged 82.

“I am dealing with some health issues that I just didn’t pay attention to when I was watching over Carl,” she told the outlet. “It’s not like I haven’t been through hard times with my health. But I think because we live in a 24/7 world with social media, everything gets magnified in ways it wasn’t years ago.”

The global icon died four days after the article was published.

In a tribute to her older sister after her death, Stella Parton revealed that in her Dolly had offered to help test experimental drugs in her final days to help others with cancer.

“She told me recently that if there was no hope for her, she would still allow her medical team to try experimental drugs in the hope of helping others in the future,” Stella wrote on Facebook.

“My sister was always thinking of others and if you want to honor her legacy, show more kindness, lift others up and give more of your time and resources as she continued to do to the very end.”

Star, who is the daughter of Parton’s younger sister Freida, told Extra that the family has had a “really difficult,” “surreal” and “bittersweet” time since Parton’s death.

“All of these tributes have helped so much to help us all through it,” she said.

A singer-songwriter herself, Star paid tribute to her aunt at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville after her death by performing “The Orchard,” which is a duet she originally recorded with the late country music legend.

WASHINGTON, Sept 2 (Reuters) - The FBI said on Wednesday it was investigating a report that tens of millions of drivers' licenses belonging to people in the United States and Canada were being sold on the dark web.

On Tuesday, the independent journalist Brian Krebs said he had discovered a dark web site selling digital scans of millions of drivers' licenses from people in the U.S. and Canada. He said he confirmed the authenticity of the data being sold with nine people.

In a brief statement on Wednesday, the bureau said it was “looking into the incident” but could not comment “due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.”

The breach, if confirmed, could be one of the largest-ever exposures of government-issued identity documents in North America, creating risks of identity theft and fraud for tens of millions of people.

Krebs said he was alerted to the site after it was advertised on a Russian cybercrime forum, with his own driver's license being offered as a free sample. Krebs said the service, dubbed Nexus, claimed to have tens of millions of licenses for people in the U.S. and Canada, as well as millions of other identification cards and travel documents and hundreds of thousands of medical records. Krebs said that the site appeared to be updating its database of stolen data in real time, indicating that it was being fed by a live breach.

Zach Edwards, a threat researcher at the cybersecurity company Infoblox, said the incident was unprecedented in terms of its sweep.

"There's never been a breach of driver's licenses at this scale," said Edwards, who added that his own license was available for sale on the site. Edwards said that the ongoing nature of the breach "means that this attack created legitimate national security risks for high-profile individuals."

Reuters could not establish the source of the stolen data. Krebs quoted a representative of New Orleans-based identity verification provider IDScan.net as saying that it was investigating the matter. IDScan.net, which describes itself as providing "ID fraud prevention at scale," did not return repeated messages from Reuters.

Krebs said the dark web site offering the driver's license data vanished shortly after he published his report.
