Disney Channel star Leigh-Allyn Baker is sharing her unique method of staying cool while traveling.

The Good Luck Charlie star, 54, posted a series of TikToks sharing her experience being stuck on a delayed plane before take off. She and her fellow passengers were waiting on the tarmac for two hours, she says, and she began to overheat.

Baker posted a video of herself showing two small cups of ice water that she proceeded to dip her bare toes into for some cooling relief. In the video, she slowly put her feet in while saying, "I'm just going for a dip in the pool. Oh yeah, that feels good. Feels good."

"SOS. Stuck on a plane, sitting on the runway, for TWO HOURS. Almost no A/C! This and menopause are NOT a good combination," her TikTok caption read. "So I decided to pretend it was just a day to dip my toes in the pool to cool off. This is survival, guys. Don't judge."

The initial June 6 video went viral, sparking backlash from commenters and etiquette experts online. But Baker posted a follow-up video, cheekily responding, saying, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't show you the part where I put the ice cubes in my bra, because that really works."

She also posted that video to her Instagram, writing, "I decided to make light of a stressful situation and put my toes on ice… imagine a day at the pool. It passed the time, made my row mates laugh, and cooled me down 10 degrees."

Baker added, "And although my freshly pedicured feet didn't touch anything but my shoes and the ice, Airline Etiquette Czar, Dianne Gottsman, interviewed here in this video, was not impressed with my shenanigans."

For *The Vampire Diaries* creatives, casting Enzo was a particularly difficult task. Because originally, the role was going to be very different.

"You were supposed to be the third Salvatore brother," executive producer Julie Plec tells star Michael Malarkey in episode 8 of *EW's Binge: The Vampire Diaries*. Writer Brett Matthews adds, "That was always the plan, and then it went a different direction, but that's why it was so hard to find the person. We thought it was going to be a Salvatore brother, so we cast a very wide net [and] looked very hard." Ultimately, they scrapped that plan and made it so Enzo didn't share Salvatore blood, but he was a brother figure for Damon (Ian Somerhalder) for many years (and he was sired by Lily Salvatore).

But that wasn't the only plan that changed in the writers' room over the years. In discussing the *Vampire Diaries*' final season, Plec and Matthews recall the final major debate: Which Salvatore were they going to kill in the series finale? "We went back and forth in the writers' room all season long," Plec says. "We finally landed on: We're killing Damon. That's the right thing to do. He is the one with the consequence to pay. Stefan was morally a bit stronger of a character."

Matthews adds, "Damon's a fairly obvious choice," noting that the writers really fell in love with the idea of Damon compelling Stefan (Paul Wesley) to let him die. But when executive producer Kevin Williamson proposed that it should be Stefan that dies, they started to rethink their plan. "It felt like dying for Stefan freed him from a lot of weight, whereas it felt like living for Damon freed him to go and be the man that he was always supposed to be," Plec says.

Of course, both Salvatores were meant to die in the original ending Plec and Williamson came up with during the show's second season. In that ending, "The boys would sacrifice themselves to save Elena so that Elena could go and have a life and be human and live," Plec recalls during the podcast. "To save her, they would die together, and that was always the pitch. And then when Nina [Dobrev] left, it felt like the show can't be as much about protecting Elena's happiness, although that's important to us, but we want to protect the bothers' happiness, we want them to get something out of this. Then it shifted to: We can't kill both of them for her because that feels somehow like nobody got what they wanted. Let's find a different way to give one of these brothers the happiness that they need and the other brother the closure that they need."

(One other way Dobrev leaving changed the plan? Plec says, "I thought that by the time we came back to the end of the series, whenever it was, that Elena would've found her way back to Stefan and Damon would've found a different path.")

Raúl Jiménez has many people cheering him on in the 2026 World Cup, including his biggest fan, fiancée Daniela Basso.

The soccer player, who is playing for Mexico in the World Cup, has been with Basso since at least 2017. After welcoming two children, the couple got engaged in February 2025, with Jiménez writing on Instagram, "She said Yes! 💍❤️."

Basso has been supportive of his career over the years. In September 2017, she shared a photo of them in an empty stadium, writing, "Every step you take I will be very proud😍."

More recently, Jiménez shared an Instagram post in honor of Basso's birthday in June 2025, writing that she will always be his "partner in life."

Basso was born in Mexico City on June 23, 1989, per her website.

After participating in singing, dancing and acting programs at a young age, she went on to have a career in the arts.

She studied at Artes Escénicas Casazul, an acting school in Mexico, before continuing her training at Centro de Educación Artística de Televisa, per her site.

Basso has had several TV roles in the years since, including playing Yolanda in the soap opera Simplemente María.

They've been together since about 2017

Although Jiménez and Basso haven't shared how or when they met, the pair have been together since about 2017, as the actress shared a sweet photo with the soccer player that July.

That September, Basso wrote on Instagram that she loves "getting to know [him] more and more everyday."

Since then, the couple have shared several glimpses of their relationship, from travels to Nashville, coordinated Halloween costumes and sweet Valentine's Day posts.

In January 2025, she shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute to Jiménez, who she wrote she has been sharing her life with "over the last almost 8 years."

"And today I really want to express my admiration and respect for you," she wrote. "Being a public figure is not easy but you have known how to listen, be silent and work, you are transparent and dedicated."

In February 2025, Jiménez announced on Instagram that they got engaged in the Swiss Alps.

They have two kids

In February 2020, Basso announced on Instagram that she and Jiménez were welcoming their first child. "We are pregnant 😍😍😍 Life can not be better," she wrote.

Shaquille O'Neal has held a grudge against Larry David since appearing on Curb Your Enthusiasm 25 years ago.

The NBA superstar played himself in a 2001 episode that saw Larry accidentally trip him during a Los Angeles Lakers' game.

"I don't like him. He tripped me," Shaq declared during the NBA Finals game on Wednesday night.

It appears that Shaquille O'Neal still has beef with Larry David.

The Curb Your Enthusiasmstar sat courtside during Wednesday night's New York Knicks victory over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. When the broadcast panel pointed out David's presence at Madison Square Garden, Shaq said, "I don't like him, he tripped me."

Shaq was seemingly referring to a classic 2001 episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm in which Shaq trips over David's feet during a Los Angeles Lakers game.

In the season 2 episode, aptly titled "Shaq," Larry and Richard Lewis attend the Lakers' home opener, taking Jeff Green's (Jeff Garlin) tickets for the night. Larry trips and injures the NBA legend after stretching his legs out onto the court during the game. Shaq is taken out of the game, and Larry is viciously booed, insisting it was an accident.

Everyone then avoids Larry for injuring Shaq, which he finds refreshing, allowing him to evade all obligations.

"Apparently, no one wants to have anything to do with me because of the Shaq thing," Larry says after the incident. His onscreen wife, Cheryl (Cheryl Hines), calls the situation "sad." Larry feels otherwise. "What, are you kidding?" he asks, overjoyed by his newfound solitude.

Later in the episode, Larry visits Shaq in the hospital, delivering SeinfeldVHS tapes and makes up with the athlete, who finds out his injury wasn't season-ending after all.

Shortly after, things shift back to normal for Larry. He gets a parking ticket while visiting Shaq in the hospital, and finds out that the doctor who checked a spot on his skin was actually a patient in the psychiatric unit.

LIMA, June 11 (Reuters) - Peru's electoral jury began reviewing contested ballots on Thursday with the initial count virtually complete and candidates separated by the slimmest of margins.

Conservative Keiko Fujimori ‌inched into the lead late on Wednesday night, boosted by overseas ballots that gave her 50.002% of ‌the vote to leftist Roberto Sanchez's 49.998%, a difference of about 600 votes out of 18 million.

More than 98% of the vote has been counted according to Peru's ONPE electoral authority, but most of those remaining are contested ballots. Only 13 of the more than 90,000 polling stations remain to be counted while about 1,600 - representing around 400,000 votes - have been sent for review to Peru's National Elections Jury (JNE).

The review is expected to take weeks. Most of the contested ballots are from the Lima metropolitan region, Fujimori's stronghold.

Markets ‌have largely recovered from a Friday selloff ⁠that occurred after Sanchez, who has vowed to reform Peru's mining-heavy economy, rose in the polls. Peru's main stock index was up 2.6% on Thursday while the sol currency rose 0.73% against ⁠the dollar to 3.38.

The two candidates have been neck-and-neck throughout the count, with Fujimori leading exit polls and Sanchez being slightly ahead in the Ipsos quick count, which has accurately predicted previous races.

Fujimori and Sanchez had called for calm and patience throughout the count, but Sanchez - who overtook Fujimori on Monday, buoyed by rural votes - began to harden his tone on Wednesday and called ‌for a meeting with international observers to discuss "strange, unusual and questionable developments."

On Thursday, Sanchez said he had important meetings with observers from the European Union and Organization of American States.

"Our people are vigilant, the vote and democracy must be respected," Sanchez said on X when he announced the meetings took place.

Some Sanchez supporters gathered outside JNE offices in central Lima on Wednesday but were dispersed with water cannons.

This is Fujimori's fourth consecutive runoff after losing the last two by just fractions ‌of a percent. In 2021, Fujimori - the daughter of polarizing former President Alberto Fujimori - lost to now-jailed President Pedro Castillo by around 45,000 votes.

Sanchez, who served as a minister under Castillo, has been his political heir in this race, donning the same signature cowboy hat and waiting ‌for early results outside the prison where Castillo is being held.

Speaking to reporters outside her home on Thursday, Fujimori reiterated that she would wait for the final count to be announced before making any definitive statement on the race.

Fujimori, who made accusations of fraud in the 2021 election she lost, said that the 2026 race had been carried ‌out transparently with thousands of poll watchers from both parties and international observers.

"I think that gives (the election) the credibility, tranquility and trust of the citizenry," Fujimori said.

"I'm just shocked because I was just speaking my truth," he says of the inadvertent impacts of openly discussing his story

Summer Housestar KJ Dillard knew TV had an influence, but he only recently realized how "powerful" a tool it can be.

The Bravo newcomer spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about sharing his mental health journey on the reality TV series, which led to his recent partnership with Rula. Rula is a mental health service that connects patients with practitioners.

Dillard, 28, is serving as the brand's official Men's Health Ambassador for June's Men's Health Month, encouraging men to invest in their mental health. He explains that choosing to work on this partnership was a "natural" decision, because after he had a mental health crisis in the fall, it was difficult for him to find a therapist.

"It was hard for me to find a platform that had the tools for me to succeed," he tells PEOPLE. "I wish I would've had something like Rula during my struggles because it would've helped me tremendously." He also credits the company for its ease of access and affordability, which allow people access to mental healthcare.

Despite that, he knows it's still difficult for men to reach for mental health treatment, but he says, "Do not let your pride get in the way." He notes that men typically won't talk about mental health, "because we think it's not tough to talk about our feelings," but he emphasizes the importance of speaking up to allow "other men to feel heard, and seen and [begin] healing."

Dillard has felt the effects of publicly talking about his mental health, with fans supporting and thanking him for sharing his story. During Summer House season 10, he was vocal about his anxiety.

It was during the reunion that he became even more vulnerable; he revealed he was hospitalized for a week and diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). He tells PEOPLE that the diagnosis allowed him to "finally" understand what was going on. "I needed that because for years I didn't know what was going on with me or why I felt things so deeply."

Since the May 26 episode, he's already received messages from fans sharing how much his story has impacted them. "People will literally message me and say that I saved their life," he says. "I'm just shocked because I was just speaking my truth. That's all I was doing."

In turn, he feels as though he became the face of men's mental health overnight, and he wears it as a badge of honor. "I'm blessed," he says, adding, "but it went from zero to 100."

He confesses he didn't think this rally of support would happen, but is hopeful it urges others "to feel comfortable to speak about their truth and know that they're not alone."

He acknowledges that his candor has prompted people to ask, "How are you able to just speak so openly about this?" But he says he's an open book: "I don't mind sharing my truth and my story as long as I know that it's going to help other people."

"I can't bring fame with me. I can't bring money with me. All I can bring is what I contributed to society and that's what matters to me at the end of the day because I'm fulfilled by that," he says, calling it an "everlasting" feeling.

He acknowledges that he's still healing himself. "Healing just doesn't happen overnight," he says. "It's still putting in the work each and every day post recovery."

As for his recovery in the fall, he greatly appreciates his costars' support, sharing how supportive Carl Radke, Ciara Miller and Mia Calabrese have been throughout the process. He previously said during the reunion that Mia and Ciara were by his side, but he tells PEOPLE that Radke also had a "huge role" too and serves as a mentor. "I want the world to know that."

"He made such an effort. I'm very thankful for Carl," he says, adding that Radke's own mental health journey "impacted" Dillard. "Carl has shown me that you can be in this field, struggle with life, and come back out on top and still struggle with things," he says. "I love Carl to death. Like, he really is truly a brother to me. Like how I look at Mia and Ciara as my sisters, I look at Carl as my brother."

Dillard adds that Miller opened up her home, and Calabrese continues to check in on him, explaining, "With Summer House, these are true friendships if you allow them to be true friendships."

As for whether he's open to returning to the sharehouse in the Hamptons, Dillard says he's eager to come back. But on his own terms.

"I was trying to fit this mold that I wasn't," he says about his summer 2025 experience. "Where now I'm like, 'You know what? I'm bringing me to the Hamptons ... as is.' "
