The former reality star was dating Jonathan O'Dell prior to his arrest for a 2022 conspiracy to murder U.S. Border Patrol agents.
"We accepted the fact that I was going to die that morning," Mooney recounts in an exclusive clip from Surviving 16 and Pregnant.

One of the many teen moms who appeared on the controversial MTV show, Mooney is now taking part in the Hollywood Demons franchise for an episode titled Surviving 16 and Pregnant. Mooney's story goes beyond the reality show, as she details a 2022 FBI raid orchestrated to capture her then-boyfriend, Jonathan O'Dell.
Recounting the haunting story in EW's exclusive clip from the upcoming episode, Mooney reveals that she was pregnant when the FBI raided the house that she and O'Dell were living in together.
"October 7th, I woke up and he had a friend that was living with us— I [was] not his biggest fan," Mooney recalled. "I went to wake him up… We had this big bay window and I was being nosy."

Mooney said she peered out the window only to see that "every [military] agency you could possibly imagine" was outside their home. She spotted military personnel and two helicopters in the air. Then, everything went black.
"The next thing I remember is flash bangs and smoke bombs everywhere," Mooney said.
Unbeknownst to Mooney, that day the FBI was executing a search warrant at O’Dell’s residence as he and Bryan Perry were being investigated for their roles in a 2022 conspiracy to murder U.S. Border Patrol agents. The duo were identified as members of the 2nd American Militia.
"Jonathan laid on top of me in the hallway and his friend comes out dressed in bulletproof vests — all the works," Mooney continued. "His friend shot 11 shots out of the window at the FBI and cracked their bearcat window."

Growing emotional, Mooney said it got to a point where "we accepted the fact that I was going to die that morning."
Eventually, there came a moment of silence and Mooney got to her feet and quickly exited the residence. "I ran out the door with my hands up and I said, 'Please don't shoot. I'm 24 weeks pregnant,'" she recounted.

Per a prior media release from the U.S. attorney's office, O’Dell and Mooney were the first to exit the residence, surrendering themselves to authorities. After the shots fired by Perry, agents did not return fire. Perry eventually stepped out, took down an American flag from the front porch and walked down the steps while waving it. He attempted to flee back into the residence but was pursued by agents and ultimately taken into custody.

Agents then searched the residence and discovered six firearms, 23 magazines filled with ammunition, 1,770 rounds of various other ammunition in addition to gas masks, ballistic helmets, and two 2nd American Militia patches. Three years after O'Dell and Perry were taken into custody, on August 27, 2025, they were sentenced in federal court for the 2022 conspiracy and for the attempted murder of federal agents during the execution of the warrant.
O’Dell was sentenced to a total of 165 years in federal prison without parole while Perry was sentenced to 15 consecutive life terms in federal prison without parole.
Mooney — who appeared on Season 5 of 16 and Pregnant — reveals more about her life after MTVin the upcoming Hollywood Demons episode, which sees other stars of the show recount struggling with homelessness, addiction and insinuations of murder.
Surviving 16 and Pregnant premieres on ID Monday, May 18 at 9 p.m. ET, and will then be available to stream on HBO Max. Watch Mooney tell her story in the clip above.
