The British pop star plays a fictionalized herself in the mockumentary "The Moment," a movie that wants to be "This Is Spinal Tap" for the Gen Z and Millennial crowds. Music fans will want to check that out, while old "King of Queens" hardcores have "Solo Mio," a romantic comedy starring Kevin James as an art teacher who gets left at the altar. (At least it's in Rome!) And as you're getting vittles ready for Super Bowl Sunday – and waiting for Bad Bunny to blow the roof off the stadium – we've got some gridiron classics that you'll get you in the mood for a clash of titans.

See Charli XCX descend into madness in music mockumentary 'The Moment'
Pop star Charli XCX plays a fictionalized version of herself in the mockumentary "The Moment."
Charli XCX satirizes her own megapopularity playing herself in the new mockumentary "The Moment" (now in theaters) imagining what would happen if the "Brat summer" of 2024 never ended. A stressed and moody Charli spirals when getting ready for an arena headlining tour and dealing with various personalities, including an off-putting concert-film director (Alexander Skarsgard). My bud Patrick Ryan attended a live Q&A with the British pop singer (real name: Charlotte Aitchison), who said it's her emotional truth taken to outrageous extremes. "I don't think I'm quite that much of a nightmare the whole time, although I wouldn't really be the best person to ask about that," she joked.
I'm sad to report that "The Moment" is probably only for dyed-in-the-wool Charli fans. It's a tonal mess bouncing between satire and psychological drama, failing to do anything intriguing while exploring the insanity and inanity of a modern celebrity. (Peep my ★½ review.)
Have your heart warmed by Kevin James falling in and out of love in 'Solo Mio'
Kevin James stars with Nicole Grimaudo in the romantic comedy "Solo Mio."
If you're in the mood for a sweet movie heading into Valentine's Day, snag a ticket (or two for date night!) Kevin James' rom-com "Solo Mio" (in theaters now). The comedian plays an art teacher whose Italian destination wedding goes awry in the worst way, but still makes the most of his trip – and finds another chance at love, too. I talked with James about Italian food, being on a horse for the first time since he was 4 and having his first romantic lead role at age 60. "Yeah, it didn't happen when I was 40," he says. "I was a different guy, so it took time to get here. It's late, but that's part of the story, that it's never too late."
If you're feeling like staying at home for a romantic movie night in, there are some good options among the new streaming movies this week like the Kelly Rowland/Method Man rom-com "Relationship Goals" and Dakota Johnson divorce comedy "Splitsville."

Stream some football movie classics before Super Bowl 60
Legendary quarterback Isaiah White (Marlon Wayans) trains a rookie his way in the football horror film "Him."
I'm bummed the Detroit Lions aren't in the Super Bowl this year, but you know what never disappoints? A good football movie. Get in the mood before kickoff by revisiting the best 25 in cinema history, and many of them are available to stream. So make time to watch the recent horror flick "Him" on Peacock, "Draft Day" (with a great Chadwick Boseman performance) on Prime Video and "Necessary Roughness" on Paramount+.
And for those more excited about the commercials than the actual game, my man Ralphie Aversa has some previews of a bunch of ads including Kurt Russell as a ski master for Michelob Ultra, Ben Stiller and Benson Boone teaming as a disco pop duo for Instacart, and Bowen Yang, Jon Hamm and Scarlett Johansson hitting the beach for Ritz.
