The child was arrested after capturing a male family member within the head, police stated on Tuesday.
Police responded to stories of a man bleeding from his head and unconscious at the household's house in Tooele on Friday night time, stated police Cpl Colbey Bentley.
The 32-year-old man was rushed to a hospital in Salt Lake County in 'extraordinarily' important situation, and died from his accidents over the weekend, Bentley stated.
An investigation into the incident led to the child's arrest.
