Philadelphia is 14 months removed from one of the more dominant displays in the Super Bowl in recent memory. The Eagles’ win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59 feels like a distant memory after a disappointing end to their 2025 season.

After that wild-card round loss to the San Francisco 49ers at home, Philadelphia went about making changes to the staff. In-house promotion Kevin Patullo is out as offensive coordinator and in his place is Sean Mannion, who previously served as the quarterbacks coach in Green Bay.

The roster saw some changes as well, with Nakobe Dean, Reed Blankenship and trade deadline acquisition Jaelan Phillips now playing elsewhere. The team didn’t make many big splash signings but did bring in cornerback Riq Woolen on a one-year deal.

Philadelphia retained free-agent tight end Dallas Goedert in a key move to maintain continuity under Mannion on offense. Key starters return on offense but trade rumors surrounding A.J. Brown have continued through the offseason and may not stop anytime soon.

2026 NFL DRAFT: Ranking the top 150 best players available

Philadelphia has plenty of draft capital, including extra picks in multiple rounds, which they could use to shore up those losses on defense and potential change on offense. Here’s how the Eagles’ draft could look come April:

Philadelphia Eagles mock draftRound 1, No. 23 overall: Edge Keldric Faulk, Auburn

The Eagles are in a spot to take the best player available at a few positions of need and Faulk could be the guy at No. 23. The Auburn edge rusher is one of the youngest players in the class with inside-out versatility and plenty of development ahead of him. With Jordan Davis secured long-term, he’d be free to rotate in with Moro Ojomo and develop over time.

Round 2, No. 54 overall: G Emmanuel Pregnon, Oregon

Starting guard Landon Dickerson reportedly went to Colombia for stem cell therapy earlier this offseason to treat his knees and ankles. Philadelphia would be smart to plan for a succession plan sooner rather than later in case his injuries continue to affect his playing time. Pregnon’s not as athletic as Dickerson but he has the anchor and strong hands to be a standout blocker sooner than later.

Round 3, No. 68 overall: WR Chris Bell, Louisville

If not for a late-season ACL injury, Bell could be a fringe first-round pick in this class. Philadelphia can afford to let him slow-play his return during the summer and become a potential successor for A.J. Brown should a trade materialize. Bell is built like a linebacker at 6-foot-2 and 227 pounds but operates all over the formation with impressive speed.

Round 3, No. 98 overall: TE Joe Royer, Cincinnati

This is a deep tight end class, especially from Round 3 onward with lots of developmental prospects. Royer brings a prototypical frame at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds with very strong hands. He’s a plus pass blocker who works inline and can develop into a potential heir to Goedert, who signed a one-year deal and will be a free agent again next offseason.

Round 4, No. 122 overall: S Michael Taaffe, Texas

The Eagles spent a Day 2 pick on a Texas safety in 2025. With Blankenship now in Houston, they could go back to the Longhorns once again for a depth piece. Taaffe had solid ball production for a college safety and could provide more depth at the position with the No. 2 cornerback spot handled with Woolen’s arrival.

Round 4, No. 137 overall: OT Dametrious Crownover, Texas A&M

Lane Johnson is one of the best right tackles of his generation. Once he hangs up his cleats, he’s a near-lock for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Philadelphia could find its succession plan in another converted tight end with impressive traits. Crownover needs a lot of work technique-wise but could learn from the best and become a difference-maker in time.

Round 5, No. 178 overall: Edge Wesley Williams, Duke

Philadelphia could use even more edge help due to Jaelan Phillips’ departure and Williams is a high-motor edge who uses his bend to get lots of cleanup sacks. He lacks explosiveness, which is why he’ll likely last until the later rounds, but could develop his hand usage to become an effective rotational rusher at the very least.

Round 6, No. 215 overall: CB Thaddeus Dixon, North Carolina

Woolen is a one-year answer to a problem that may take more time. Dixon played at multiple spots in the secondary during his career with snaps outside, at nickel and at safety. He’s best in Cover 3 scenarios and made plays on the ball consistently (20 PBUs, two INTs in his college career). He’s got prototypical size at 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds to develop into a potential option outside if Woolen departs in the future.

Doesn't get more '90s than this! Nick Lachey, the frontman of 98 Degrees, is recalling that the boy band was reminded to stay cognizant of which girls they encountered were of age.

"This is going to sound super shady, but when we first went out," Lachey recalls in ID documentary *Boy Band Confidential*. "I remember our first tour, someone at the label gave us a book, and it was the age of consent in every state." They "kept that book on the tour bus."

Lachey and his fellow bandmates Drew Lachey (also Nick's brother), as well as Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre, made up the group, which produced hits such as "The Hardest Thing," "Because of You," and "I Do (Cherish You)."

By 1999, he had coupled up with another up-and-coming singer, Jessica Simpson, whom he married in 2002 and with whom he costarred in the reality smash *Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica* beginning in 2003. They divorced in 2006.

Lachey is now the host of *Love Is Blind*, alongside his wife Vanessa Lachey, whom he married in 2011, in addition to continuing to work with 98 Degrees.

In November 2024, Timmons recalled that, at the time Lachey referenced, the fandom was wild.

"Fans would sneak on our tour bus and we wouldn't even know they were there until the next city," Timmons said in the doc *Larger than Life: Reign of the Boybands*. "We ordered room service and they were in the room service cart and popped out."

He added that, "Some things are a little too crazy to talk about."

Lachey explained in *Boy Band Confidential* that, at the same time teenage girls were swooning over their sweet sounds and choreography, the guys were struggling financially.

"98 Degrees, we signed with Motown and we got a very nominal advance on our contract," Lachey said. "We knew that all expenses were recoupable and so we took the opposite approach [from other bands]."

They were frugal, taking the approach, "'Hey, we're not paying for anything. We'll take a break, go around the corner to Wendy's, and go back to the studio.'"

There were no fancy cars either.

"At the end of the session at 4:00 a.m., we're not going to get a car service back to Brooklyn," Lachey said. "We'll take the A train back to Brooklyn, in the middle of winter. The four of us, at 4 in the morning, standing in the subway station."

NASA's Artemis II mission has inspired equal parts awe, joy and and fascination among those who spent days captivated by the historic journey around the moon.

Now, the first human lunar mission since the Apollo era – which came to an end April 10 with a California water landing – has also inspired parody.

"Saturday Night Live" spoofed the trailblazing Artemis II mission in its April 11 episode, hosted by actor Colman Domingo. In the sketch, an increasingly exasperated NASA pilot Victor Glover (Domingo) tries in vain to deliver a moving reflection on the mission while aboard the Orion spacecraft, but is constantly thwarted by the rest of his crewmates.

Here's a look at the "SNL" Artemis skit.

'SNL' Artemis II skit

The "SNL" Artemis II skit, part of an episode recorded and aired April 11, featured "Euphoria" star Domingo as NASA astronaut Victor Glover attempting to record a video for Earth.

But Glover's introspective message is constantly interrupted by the rest of the crew and their sophomoric shenanigans as boredom sets in nine days into the mission. A floating wayward Pringles can, Sarah Sherman as a sleeping NASA mission specialist Christina Koch and more enter the frame, undermining Glover's attempts to wax philosophic about space and the fragility of life on Earth.

Marcello Hernández as Canadian mission specialist Jeremy Hansen and Mikey Day as commander Reid Wiseman also get up to no shortage of antics in the skit, including a rather gross moment when Wiseman shows off the aftermath of a sneeze in microgravity.

After launching April 1 from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, NASA's Artemis II moon mission came to an end April 10 with a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean near California.

During the mission, Wiseman, Glover, Koch and Hansen traveled farther in space than any humans ever have while performing a flyby of the moon's far side, where they collected observations and data for scientists back on Earth.

The mission, the first human lunar venture in more than 50 years, served as a test flight setting the stage for a moon landing planned during Artemis IV in 2028. Up next, though, NASA will test out one or both commercial lunar landers being developed by SpaceX and Blue Origin by having Artemis III astronauts dock with them in Earth during in 2027.
