Scott says the role came at a time in his life when he was "going through a lot"

Scott Wolf knows firsthand the power of storytelling.

"I've been in the position more than once in my work life where art has imitated life and life has imitated art," the actor tells PEOPLE. "I've been given the chance often to use, create and make art to serve a story with the experience I'm having."

That was exactly the case for Scott, 57, with season 1 of Doc, the Fox medical drama on which he stars as Dr. Richard Miller.

"I was going through a lot when we made the first season, and just showing up every day was a building process for me," says Scott, who filed for divorce from his wife of 21 years Kelley Wolf in June 2025. "I'm able to look at a lot of the things I've been lucky enough to be a part of — none more than Doc — where things I needed to go through, things I needed to learn, things I needed to better understand about myself, things I needed to work through, somehow were related or connected with or mirrored in the character. It's uncanny sometimes, but I'm grateful for that part of the process."

In the season 1 finale, Richard is fired from Westside Hospital after it's revealed he'd made a critical mistake that resulted in the death of a patient, which he also attempted to blame on Amy (Molly Parker) after her accident.

Throughout the first season, Scott says it was challenging "to play a person who not only was lying to everyone else, but was also betraying himself."

"To swim around in that all day, every day for an entire season of a show is a lot," he says. "But I was able to use things from my own life experience, and in a way, I think you get to maybe take these experiences or emotions or challenges as things that would be hard to metabolize otherwise."

"I love having the chance to portray people going through things that people walking around in life and sitting down and watching these shows are going through," he continues. "So, it was uncomfortable at times, but worthwhile."

Richard isn't the typical TV villain in that fans get to see some of the struggles he's dealing with at home, including his son's bipolar and schizotypal disorders.

"Our show runners and our writers, they told a really human story where the bad guy was not a mustache twirling, evil person," Scott says. "He was potentially any of us if we backed ourselves into the wrong corner. It's very easy to see a certain person's behavior or their attitude or the way they carry themselves and pass judgment on it. But I think if you ever had a chance to just peek behind the curtain of anyone's life, you'd drop all of that and just feel compassionate toward a person and be more understanding."

Scott recently has had to wrestle with the public's perception of him and his family, amid his and Kelley's ongoing public divorce.

The family reunited for a trip to Universal Studios together in February, with Scott releasing a statement at the time that they were working on "healing."

"I don't want to speak too much, but what I can say is it became public that our family has gone through a lot over this past couple of years," he says now. "I feel like I'm just so deeply grateful for having had this show land in my life when it did. When you're playing a character, you're always finding a way to access parts of yourself and connect to the character's experience, but sometimes you land dead on in the middle and you and the character are sort of sharing a lot of experience. And I do think that probably has contributed to why that character, even though he was the 'bad guy,' has become someone that everyone's like, 'Well, wait a minute,' and not writing him off."

"I mean, I can't overstate how grateful I am that Doc arrived in my life," he adds. "I just can't say enough about how meaningful the show is to me, has been to me, and continues to be. It's been a real gift. Never have I needed the arrival of something more than I did when Doc showed up in my life, and that's both as an actor and as a person, and I'm incredibly grateful."After managing to get his old job back, Scott's Richard was able to make his return to Westside in the season 2 episode that aired March 3.

"When season 1 ended, there really was no telling whether there was a future for Dr. Miller at this hospital, and this is the most wonderfully complicated character I've had a chance to play, so I was sad at the prospect of having his story come to an end," he says. "Obviously, I was really excited when I found out I'd be coming back."

Scott Wolf in 'Doc' with Molly ParkerCredit: FOX

Scott adds that it's "emotionally" and "psychologically easier" to play Richard this time around.

"It's almost like playing a different character this season because everything he did and said last year was a function of this lie that he was living underneath, and having to cover it and survive it," he says. "And so we never really got to see the sort most authentic version of who this person is as a doctor and as a friend and as a colleague."

"I've loved having the chance to play Richard this season where he feels like the big idea now is to be his full self, be the man he is and the colleague he is, the team player he is, and the physician he is, and hope it's good enough that people will come back to him and learn to trust him again and accept that he made mistakes and that he is willing to work hard for this second chance," he adds. "But yeah, it's been icy in there. Nobody really wants him around right now."

Scott Wolf in 'Doc'Credit: FOX

Towards the end of season 2, Scott says the show explores what Richard has "learned from everything that happened with this mistake he made and covering it up."

"I think he's aware of what his presence is doing to people, and I don't think he loves that," he says. "I think he really wants a second chance. He doesn't feel like he should lose his entire life and his life's work over having made a mistake, and then he didn't feel safe coming clean about it, so I think he believes he deserves this second chance. As things go forward, it's impossible for him not to see the impact it's having on everyone."

On Monday, March 9, it was announced that Doc has been renewed for a third season.

"It's such an incredible group of people, so I'm super excited for everyone that the show gets to continue," Scott says. "Whether Richard is around for one or a hundred more episodes, it's been a huge gift."

New episodes of Doc premiere Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.

Kit Harington is rarely clothed in Industry's fourth season and he has only himself to blame.

Though the HBO drama has garnered quite the reputation for sleaze and depravity — and is no stranger to exploring its character's various perversions — Harington is taking full responsibility for the vice-filled season that Sir Henry Muck has just enjoyed.

When asked what fans should expect from the latest season of the finance drama, Harington could only think of one thing during his Monday visit to The Tonight Show.

"I'm naked about 90 percent of the time," Harginton told Jimmy Fallon. The remark earned shouts and applause from the live audience, prompting Harington to add, "I'm really glad it got that reaction."

He then reiterated, "No. I'm naked a lot."

Indeed, the fourth season sees Harington's Sir Henry spiraling hard in the midst of his failed political career and crumbling marriage. Within just a few episodes, the erratic CEO goes from stumbling around his mansion in a robe to losing his shirt for a twisted and memorable club scene.

"I think it was entirely my own fault," Harington confessed when Fallon asked how all the nudity came to be.

He explained that it began when he made his season 3 debut and series creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay warned him about an intimate scene to come.

"My character has some kinks," Harington teased. "And they came up to me and went, 'Look, if you're okay with this, we think your character is gonna get, well, peed on.' And I was like, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll do anything. I'll do anything.'"

Harington said that he could immediately see that they took his remark very serious.

"I saw their faces just, like, change," he recalled. "And now in season 4, I'm doing all the things. And it's very rare I'm dressed."

Industry concluded its eight-episode fourth season earlier this month, closing out the latest chapter of Harper Stern (Myha'la) and Yasmin Kara-Hanani's (Marisa Abela) lives after leaving Pierpoint. This time around, the frenemies find themselves on opposing sides as Harper works to short Tender, a potentially corrupt fintech company that Harington's Muck has just gotten involved with.

Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with our EW Dispatch newsletter.

The HBO drama gave each of its characters satisfying — and some suitably horrifying — conclusions, but there is still more story to tell, as Industry has been renewed for a fifth and final season. Will Harington's troubled aristocrat be back int he mix when the show returns?

"I don't know yet," the Game of Thrones alum told Fallon. "I've left all doors open, and we'll see."

Harington then admitted that he's definitely interested in heeding the call, adding, "I think they're excellent writers. It's an excellent show. I'm really chuffed it's going for a fifth. I think if it was the right story, I'd definitely be in it. But we'll see."

Watch Harington unpack his nude scenes in the clip above.

Love Is Blind fans, this past season has been quite the journey. In 12 episodes, we've seen just about everything — from one contestant sounding off about wanting to date a pilates baddie to another contestant's convoluted explanation of his relationship history. While there's been no shortage of chaotic and incompatible couples, this season has also given us some happily ever afters.

The season may have concluded, but fans still have the reunion, which is available to stream Wednesday on Netflix, to look forward to. If the recent teaser is any indication, the special episode will offer some clarity on where many of these couples stand — and how they feel about their experiences in retrospect.

Below, Yahoo is rounding up five questions we desperately want answers to during the Love Is Blind Season 10 reunion episode.

Does Chris feel any remorse for his comments?

Chris Fusco, a 33-year-old account manager, immediately came under fire after making insensitive comments toward his then-fiancée Jessica Barrett, a 39-year-old infectious diseases physician. Barrett confronts Fusco after he goes MIA one night, which is what prompts him to deliver a bombshell speech about his physical type, and the fact that she isn't it. Fusco, who said he enjoys a very active lifestyle, told Barrett that he's used to dating women who are the same.

"I date people who f***ing do like CrossFit and shit," Fusco told Barrett. "Somebody who works out all the time. … It's just, like, somebody who does f***ing Pilates every day or someone who's working out every day."

Barrett was blindsided by his comments and ended the engagement shortly after. We gotta know: Does Fusco regret what he said to Barrett? While we hope the former couple speaks about it during the reunion, Barrett did tell Kaitlyn Bristowe on an episode of the "Off the Vine" podcast last week what was going through her mind during her conversation with Fusco.

"This isn't real. There's no way there is like, a human being saying these things to another human being," Barrett said. "I'm really proud of myself that I was able to stay grounded in that moment and worry about me, instead of whatever was happening in front of me."

What does Brittany think of Devonta now?

Brittany Wicker, a 33-year-old registered nurse, and Devonta Anderson, a 32-year-old loan officer, got engaged after the pods — but their relationship soon deteriorated in the real world. Wicker's biggest hang-up was Anderson's lack of affection — and how devoid of emotion he seemed to be. The fact that Anderson wanted Wicker to sign a prenup before walking down the aisle also caused some tension in their relationship.

Wicker and Anderson broke up just before their scheduled wedding day, with Anderson admitting that he didn't know if Wicker was the right woman for him. Immediately following their breakup conversation, Anderson told Wicker they'd be in touch — weird choice of words! — and Wicker laughed it off. Even after calling off the engagement, Wicker still seemed certain that Anderson was the love of her life. Anderson, however, seemed less jazzed about having a future with her. At one point, he even referred to her as a shadow.

"I'm 99% sure I'm going to get married to Devonta," Wicker told the producers. "We are supposed to be married. I do see myself marrying him. I feel like he is my person."

In a recent Instagram post, Wicker said she didn't regret how she navigated her relationship with Anderson.

"Reflecting back on the last year, I can clearly see what the world is witnessing that I couldn't fully see/chose to not accept in the moment," she wrote. "It's not enjoyable watching myself accept a love less than deserving. Hindsight is 20/20."

Are Connor and Bri still dating?

Connor Spies, a 32-year-old account manager, emerged as a fan favorite on this season of Love is Blind. While he and his fiancée, Brianna "Breezy" McNees, a 34-year-old retail professional seemed to be endgame, McNees ultimately ended their engagement. Though they didn't make it to the altar, LIB fans are speculating that Spies and McNees are still dating — after fans claimed that the pair agreed to work things out. So what's their relationship status?

"I had a gigantic menty b after the wedding dresses," McNees told Netflix's Tudum. "I took that dress off and I hyperventilated in a corner with my mom, and I was like, 'I can't do this.' That's when I went home to Connor and was like, 'We've got to really reconsider how far we're going to take this.'"

Why didn't we see more of Christine and Vic?

Victor St. John, a 34-year-old professor, and Christine Hamilton, a 31-year-old speech pathologist, were the least dramatic couple on this season of Love is Blind — and viewers were quick to clock that their wholesome love story received considerably less screen time than others. St. John and Hamilton, for instance, didn't go to Mexico with the rest of the cast, and their scenes were often self-shot.

St. John took to Threads to address backlash surrounding his and Hamilton's "boring" relationship.

How are they enjoying married life? What did they think of the edit they got on the show? Here's to hoping that St. John and Hamilton get more screen time during the reunion!

What does Alex think of becoming an internet meme?

Like Fusco, Alex Henderson, a 31-year-old retired soccer player, emerged as a villain on this season of Love Is Blind. There's quite a bit to unpack here, but here's the gist: Henderson, formerly Alex Ferrell, got engaged to Ashley Carpenter, a 34-year-old claims manager, after the pods — though it wasn't long before their relationship was rife with doubts.

In addition to telling Carpenter that she wasn't his usual physical type, Henderson often gave convoluted responses to questions about his past relationships. The internet was quick to call out Henderson as a "con artist" and that "everything that comes out of his mouth sounds like a sales pitch." He's since become the subject of several satirical TikTok videos in which users replicate his "word salad" style of speaking. He's basically become internet famous … but for not-so-great reasons. We wonder what he thinks about it all!

- Rachel Zegler said it was "really confusing" to receive backlash for her Colombian heritage when she was cast as Snow White.

- The actress stands by her pro-Palestine politics that led to further controversy: "I've said what I feel, and that will always be a testament to my core beliefs."

- Zegler also said that the controversy that stemmed from her political positions served as a "complete study in intent versus impact."

Rachel Zegler is reflecting on the controversy surrounding her *Snow White* film.

The *West Side Story* actress discussed the multiple waves of backlash she received as a result of Disney's 2025 live-action remake of 1937's *Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs* in a new interview with *Harper's Bazaar*.

The first round of backlash came after conservatives criticized Disney for hiring Zegler, whose mother is Colombian American, to play a princess depicted as white in the original animated film. That controversy felt somewhat familiar to Zegler, as she'd already faced the inverse criticism for playing the Puerto Rican protagonist Maria in *West Side Story* despite her father being white.

"I was told I wasn't enough of one thing for *West Side Story* and too much of another for *Snow White*," Zegler told the outlet, noting that it was "really confusing" to receive that criticism in her early twenties.

"I grew up proud of being Colombian," she said. "Eating the food, wearing the dresses, drinking the coffee, doing all the things that were so intrinsic to who I was as a kid and who I am as an adult — but I do think there's an argument to be made that, in the public eye at least, when you're two things, you're simultaneously nothing. But I refuse to assimilate for anybody else's comfort."

That position stands in contrast to the experience of her mother, who grew up "in an era of assimilation being a tactic for survival" in the United States. "It was the experience of so many people in my family: the idea that you will get a job, you will be American, and that's how you survive — that's the only way you're guaranteed a future."

Zegler was the target of further online vitriol after posting in support of Palestinian rights as she began promoting *Snow White* in 2024. The actress has no interest in retracting her comments. "I've said what I feel, and that will always be a testament to my core beliefs as a human," Zegler said. "That's where I stand."

However, the actress said that the controversy served as "a complete study in intent versus impact" for her. "You live and you learn, and there's a caution that comes with that," Zegler said. "There's an understanding that the temptation to speak doesn't always mean that it must be done, and that there are a lot of opportunities to make more meaningful change than a tweet."

She also noted that she did not expect the magnitude of the backlash. "If I'd been able to predict everything that would come my way, the threats to my safety, I would have just thrown my phone into the ocean," she said. "I think any sane person would have."

To lift her spirits, Zegler hung out with her *Shazam: Fury of the Gods* costars Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu, who shared "long conversations about what it means to be a woman in this industry, and the disappointments they both faced at times" with her, noting their emphasis on how important it is to "show up for other women" in Hollywood.

***Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with our EW Dispatch newsletter.***

That advice led Zegler, who headlined 2023's *The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes*, to contact Whitney Peak, the actress leading the franchise's next installment, *Sunrise on the Reaping*.

"I reached out to say, 'I'm here, even though I hope to God you don't need me,'" she said. "And the next time a woman of color is cast as a Disney princess, I'll be there with bells on to support them, to lift them up, to advise and to tell them what not to do."

The chaos queen returns for season 3 of *XO, Kitty*.

Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) is heading back to the Korean Independent School of Seoul, a.k.a. KISS, for her senior year, ready to squeeze every bit of fun out of it with her friends… and maybe sort things out with Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee).

Season 2 ended with Kitty gearing up to confess her feelings, but Min Ho decided to put his love life on hold to hit the road with his dad and K-pop hitmaker brother. Never one to take no for an answer, Kitty asks to join them, and Min Ho agrees.

They may not be an official couple, but that could change fast. Here's everything fans need to know about *XO, Kitty *season 3, including which familiar faces are back at KISS.

What is XO, Kitty season 3 about?

(L to R) Gia Kim as Yuri Han, Minyeong Choi as Dae Heon Kim, Joshua Hyunho Lee as Jin, Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison, Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey, Sunny Oh as Mihee, Anthony Keyvan as Quincy 'Q' Shabazian, and Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho Moon in 'XO, Kitty' season 3

Youngsol Park/Netflix

Senior year is officially here for Kitty, and she has it all perfectly planned.

"She's going to make meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, and make big decisions about her future. And she's going to define her relationship with Min Ho. For real this time," the synopsis teases. "But when surprise revelations throw her plans, and relationships, off course, Kitty will have to learn to embrace the unexpected."

Is there an XO, Kitty season 3 trailer?

The wait is over: the official trailer for *XO, Kitty *season 3 finally dropped on Monday, March 9, and it comes with a surprise that *To All the Boys* fans are definitely going to love.

"I am so excited for senior year," Kitty says at the start of the trailer, as she and her friends kick off the beginning of their final year at KISS. She's clearly ready to make the most of it, but there's still a lot she wants to accomplish before graduation.

Kitty has already made her "Senior Sunset List," and it's packed with some pretty exciting goals. Among them are celebrating Chuseok with her Korean family, visiting the Lotte World theme park with her friends, figuring out her college plans, and, of course, finally defining her relationship with Min Ho.

That last one seems the most challenging. Kitty admits she always thought Min Ho might want someone who fits better into his celebrity lifestyle, and at one point, his dad bluntly tells her she's trying to step into a world she doesn't fully understand.

Meanwhile, Min Ho isn't loving the complicated nature of their relationship either. At one point, he tells Kitty he's over the mixed signals, and she ends up confessing she might've gotten carried away thinking the two of them could actually become something.

Kitty ends up calling her sister, Lara Jean (Lana Condor), in tears, prompting LJ to hop on the next flight to Seoul to surprise her. Kitty is stunned when she sees LJ, but they share a hug before Kitty fills her in on everything that's been going on. She admits she really likes Min Ho, and LJ gives some classic big sister wisdom: "Whatever happens with Min Ho, we can't just stop living our lives. We have to follow our hearts and trust that it will lead us to our next great adventure."

The trailer then flashes through a bunch of fun senior year moments: Kitty riding a rollercoaster with her friends, dancing at parties, and even being surprised with an 18th birthday bash.

Now, despite all the ups and downs between Min Ho and Kitty, there's still hope. At a transit station, Min Ho spots Kitty on a train, bags in tow. He calls out for her, and even with her headphones on, she turns and sees him. The trailer cuts off there, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens next between them.

Who's in the XO, Kitty season 3 cast?

- *War Machine *premiered on Netflix on March 6.

- It stars Alan Ritchson as an U.S. Army Ranger hopeful whose final test pits him against an otherworldly threat.

- The ending leaves the door open for a potential sequel.

**Warning: This article contains spoilers for *War Machine*.**

Part 1980s action flick, part sci-fi thriller, *War Machine *delivers the kind of pulse-pounding spectacle we rarely see from straight-to-streaming films.

Co-written and directed by Patrick Hughes, the film stars Alan Ritchson (*Reacher*) as a staff sergeant known only as 81 who endures an insanely grueling bootcamp to become a U.S. Army Ranger. It's an undertaking in honor of his brother (Jai Courtney), who died in his arms on the battlefield.

While his fellow soldiers start bonding and embracing the Ranger dream, 81 keeps to himself and stays focused on making it to the finish line. But the final test spirals out of control, forcing the group to battle a virtually unstoppable enemy.

*War Machine *is currently dominating the Netflix charts, and its open-ended finale hints that the story might not be over just yet. So, will there be a sequel? Here's everything we know so far.

What is *War Machine *about?

(L to R) Jack Patten as 109, James Beaufort as 23, Alan Ritchson as 81, Alex King as 44, and Blake Richardson as 15 in 'War Machine'

Two years after his brother's death, Ritchson's character enlists to join the Rangers and is assigned candidate number 81. Throughout the brutal section program, he quickly proves his exceptional skill and discipline, but he refuses to connect with his fellow recruits. And, despite his prior experience as an Army leader, 81 chooses to forgo any leadership roles.

After 81 nearly drowns during an underwater drill, the regiment leaders (played by Dennis Quaid and Esai Morales) express concern that his PTSD from losing his brother might put him at risk or affect the team. They suggest he leave the program, but he refuses, determined to make it to the end.

As the recruits push through the toughest weeks of training, the narrative occasionally cuts to TV news reports of an asteroid entering Earth's atmosphere, leaving NASA utterly perplexed. That enigmatic celestial event later plays a pivotal role in the recruits final trial.

For their last mission, the team must take out a captured classified aircraft and extract a pilot being held prisoner. But things go off the rails when they encounter a towering machine hellbent on annihilating them all.**

What happens at the end of War Machine?

In the epic final battle, 81 rams the machine with a bulldozer, trapping it against a rock wall. He then triggers a conveyor belt overhead to dump an avalanche of rocks onto it. With its ventilator now blocked, the machine explodes.

81 then hauls 7 (Stephan James) back to camp, only to discover that the "asteroid" has split into numerous pods. Now, the entire planet faces a full-blown invasion by machines akin to the one 81 just destroyed — and even more are on the way.

As the siege escalates, militaries around the world have mobilized under "Operation Global Shield." 81 shares crucial tactics for taking down the machines, earns his Ranger tab, and immediately jumps back into the fight.

He soon boards a helicopter to join the counterattack, and as it lifts off, a sergeant on board scans the roster of Rangers. He notices 81, who has fallen asleep after his exhausting battle.

Despite 81's heroics, the threat is far from over. Alien pods continue to ravage Earth, signaling that the machine invasion is only getting started. All the while, 81's true identity remains a mystery — no one knows his name, and the film ends without revealing it.

Will there be a *War Machine *sequel?

Nothing is official yet, but both Hughes and Ritchson have expressed interest in returning for a *War Machine *sequel. Hughes told ScreenRant that he initially wrote *War Machine *as a "fully formed standalone story," but if he ever got the chance to continue it, he knows "exactly where it's going."

"It's impossible not to, as a writer, to think about," Hughes added. "I fell in love with the character of 81, and the universe of sort of everything he's going through. So look, if that call comes in, then yes, I'm ready to pull the trigger."

Ritchson echoed Hughes' excitement, claiming there are already "tons" of ideas for 81. "*War Machines* is going to be sick. The whole thing, we got a whole thing," he said.

In a separate interview with Decider, Ritchson joked that they're "ready to shoot" the sequel right now. Meanwhile, Hughes shared his vision: "For me, I wanted to tell a film that started with the micro, and ended with the macro," he said. "And I thought that was a really unique take on the genre that we were working in. Let's see what happens."

Ritchson even threw in a humorous pitch for a *War Machine *sequel, saying, "81 goes to Paris, and he stays at Le Bristol, and he gets that really lovely chicken truffle soup that they have."

- Misty Copeland slammed Timothée Chalamet's comments about "no one" caring about ballet and opera.

- The ballerina said that just because those art forms aren't popular doesn't mean they don't "have enduring relevance in culture."

- Chalamet featured Copeland in his *Marty Supreme *marketing campaign.

Dancer Misty Copeland is calling out Timothée Chalamet for his comments about ballet and opera.

As seen in a TikTok video, Copeland said, "First I have to say that it's very interesting that he invited me to be a part of promoting *Marty Supreme* with respect to my art form." Along with other celebrities such as Tom Brady and Kid Cudi, the ballerina was photographed wearing a navy windbreaker emblazoned with the film's title.

"But I think that it's important that we acknowledge that, yes, this is an art form that's not 'popular' and a part of pop culture as movies are," she continued. "But that doesn't mean it doesn't have enduring relevance in culture."

Copeland noted that it's "often mistaken when something is popular that it's meaningful or more impactful." But, she added, "there's a reason that the opera and ballet have been around for over 400 years."

She also mentioned how "access and opportunity" can help launch someone's career, referring to her Misty Copeland Foundation, which helps "bring more people" into ballet. "People do understand the importance and the relevance of it in our communities and our culture, and you see it reflected everywhere," she continued.

Copeland concluded that Chalamet wouldn't be an actor with the opportunities he has as a movie star if not for "opera and ballet in their relevance in that medium." "So all of these mediums have a space and we shouldn't be comparing them."

Chalamet's comments were made during a *Variety* and CNN Town Hall in February, but they went viral last week. While speaking with Matthew McConaughey, he discussed the challenges the film industry faces when it comes to movie theaters.

"I admire people, and I've done it myself, who go on a talk show and go, 'Hey, we gotta keep movie theaters alive. You know, we gotta keep this genre alive,'" he said. "And another part of me feels like, if people want to see it, like *Barbie*, like *Oppenheimer*, they're going to go see it and go out of their way to be loud and proud about it."

He then he pivoted to other performing arts. "And I don't want to be working in ballet or opera, or you know, things where it's like, 'Hey, keep this thing alive,' even though it's like, no one cares about this anymore," Chalamet said. "All respect to the ballet and opera people out there. I just lost 14 cents in viewership. I just took shots for no reason."**

Chalamet is nominated for Best Actor for his performance in *Marty Supreme* at the 98th Academy Awards, which take place March 15.
