AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Gary Player does not begrudge Tiger Woods for using medications to manage the pain from numerous surgeries over the years, but his fellow Masters champion does believe that the 15-time major winner should not be behind the wheel of a car.

Woods was arrested March 27 on suspicion of driving under the influence after his Land Rover struck a trailer and flipped on its side along a residential street. Florida authorities determined him to be impaired when they found two painkillers in his pocket. Woods also refused to submit to a urine test and was briefly jailed.

"You know," Player said Thursday, “it's very easy — the human being is so critical of everything. If I or any of you in this room had the pain that Tiger Woods had — think of the excruciating pain that this man has been going through for a long time.

“Do I blame him for taking medicine? Hell, no. He has sleep deprivation,” Player continued. “Do I blame him for taking something to help him sleep? No. But I don't think he should drive a car. When you're taking that medicine, it's dangerous when you're driving a car, same as it's dangerous when you look at your cell phone in a car.”

The 90-year-old Player spoke about Woods after helping to hit the honorary tee shots to start the first round of the Masters.

Known for his fastidious diet and fitness regiment, Player went so far as to admit he no longer drives himself these days.

“So I think all he's got to do is just not drive a car, and get a chauffeur,” Player said. “My reflexes, I think, are as good as when I was 20, but I don't drive anymore. I get a chauffer. I think that's the answer to it.”

Woods, a five-time Masters champion, said last week he would be missing the tournament at Augusta National for the second straight year so that he could seek treatment at an undisclosed facility outside of the U.S., and “prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.”

The announcement came hours after he pleaded not guilty to a DUI charge in connection with the crash.

Woods' injury list over the last 14 years is a long one. He had reconstructive knee surgery in 2008, four back surgeries from 2014-17, and he was previously arrested in 2017 for taking what he called a bad mix of painkillers that resulted in him falling asleep behind the wheel of a running car.

Four years ago, Woods’s right leg and ankle were crushed when his speeding SUV ran over a median and toppled down a hillside on a coastal road in Los Angeles. He also had surgery on his Achilles tendon and a seventh back surgery last year.

“My heart goes out for him,” Player said. “There’s nothing worse than living in pain every day of your life. You can’t think of anything worse. I just hope he can get it all sorted out because he’s such an asset to golf and has done so much for the game.”

Just about everyone at Augusta National this week has expressed sympathy for Woods, but many players — including Jason Day — also agreed with Player that he should not have been behind the wheel of a car.

“He’s just a human being like everyone else, and we have struggles,” Day said. “It’s unfortunate. The only thing that I don’t understand is that it’s a little bit selfish of him to drive and put other people in harm’s way, as well.”

Day, a former No. 1, called Woods his “hero," and said the reasons he began playing golf were Woods and the Masters.

“It’s hard to see him go through what he’s going through, and especially under the microscope. It must be hard to be who he is and have everything, everyone look on, kind of down on him,” Day said. "Some people want him to fail. Some people obviously want him to succeed. It’s really difficult for me to go through that and watch him, and I know that he’s getting the help now, which is good. I’m just hoping he comes out on the other side and is better.”

It took Rory McIlroy 17 attempts to win his first Green Jacket, finally breaking through last year. He is wasting no time in trying to win his second Masters title.

McIlroy, 36, shot a Friday-low 65 to move to 12-under and take a six-shot lead into Saturday. His six-shot lead is the largest second-round lead in Masters history.

McIlroy is just the fourth defending champion to hold the 36-hole lead the year after his victory. Arnold Palmer did it three times (1959, 1961, 1965), while Ian Woosnam (1992) and Jordan Spieth (2016) did it once.

McIlroy is vying to become the fourth player to win the Masters in two straight years. Jack Nicklaus did it in 1965-66, Nick Faldo in 1989-90, and Tiger Woods in 2001-02.

The world No. 2 ended his second round by birdieing six of his last seven holes. Throughout the tournament, McIlroy has parred 18 holes, birdied 15 and recorded just three bogeys.

The Girl Meets World alum says fans can expect humor, light and surprises in the dystopian coming-of-age series

Rowan Blanchard is returning to television in a "dream" way.

Blanchard, 24, has been acting since the age of 5, and played Riley Matthews in the Boy Meets World sequel series, Girl Meets World, on Disney Channel from 2014 to 2017.

Now, she is playing Shunammite on Hulu's The Testaments, a sequel to The Handmaid's Tale based on author Margaret Atwood's 2019 novel.

The coming-of-age series centers around a group of young women attending a preparatory school in Gilead. Chase Infiniti, Lucy Halliday and Ann Dowd round out the cast.

"It feels like such a privilege to get to act in something that has such a beautiful and large fan base, and there's so much history attached to it and it was really, really a dream," she exclusively told PEOPLE at The Testaments premiere at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Tuesday, March 31.

She shared that the cast "all really, really got along" and had a lot of fun memories together. "I would say towards the end, I guess we were all playing a lot of games...Scrabble," Blanchard explained.

While on Girl Meets World, Blanchard's cast also consisted of famous faces, including Sabrina Carpenter, who played Riley's best friend, Maya Hart, and members of the original Boy Meets World series, like Danielle Fishel and Ben Savage.

“When we started filming the pilot, I went back and watched episodes [of Boy Meets World] and I realized this was special because it was television that was aimed toward children but was talking to them — rather than talking down to them — and making these lessons inclusive," Blanchard said in a 2016 interview with The Cut.

Camilla Luddington is teeing up her summer plans as a busy mom.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the Grey's Anatomy star, 42, shared how she plans to keep her two kids — she shares daughter Hayden, 9, and son Lucas, 5, with husband Matthew Alan — busy during their summer vacation from school.

"Oh God, the dreaded summer entertainment," Luddington joked when asked about her family's plans. "It's going to be a lot of sports — that's the truth. We haven't planned a summer vacation yet, but definitely a lot of T-ball, softball and us sitting on the sidelines."

As for how she will keep her kids fueled for all of their summer adventures, the actress — who is partnering with Gerber to promote their Get'ems! Squeezies line of fruit and veggie pouches — said the go-to snacks are already in their "daily rotation" and what Hayden and Lucas are "grabbing every day."

She shared that she freezes the pouches and brings them in a cooler on ice to the kids' games because they "always want ice cream" afterwards. "They're kids and they're hot. So this has been a lifesaver," she explained.

"Also, listen, I do know that I could throw them a bag of donuts and they'd be excited, but I don't have mom guilt over this," she continued, noting that the pouches don't contain added sugar and are made from "real" fruits and veggies. "And so for me, I'm a little type B. I don't always have the right things. This is perfect grab-and-go."

Back in 2023, Luddington spoke to NewBeauty about how she balances motherhood with her long days on the set of Grey's Anatomy. She has played Jo Wilson on the ABC medical drama since 2012.

“We have two or three months off in between seasons, so that’s really special with my kids. But it’s tricky,” she told the outlet at the time. “You learn as you go, and it’s different every year and every age because they change so much and they need different things. So I’m still learning what that balance looks like.”

Luddington has also had to navigate a recent health diagnosis that has impacted her daily life.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the 2025 Inspiration Awards in Los Angeles last year, she revealed that she was diagnosed with the autoimmune disorder Hashimoto’s disease.

“I got the diagnosis at the beginning of summer, so I'm fresh into this journey," she said at the time. "I am on Levothyroxine, which is a thyroid medicine, and I can tell you that a lot of things have changed."

Luddington shared how a new workout regimen was helping her reduce inflammation in her body.

“I was very puffy all the time, not knowing why I was exhausted," she explained. "I was not working out. I hadn't seen a workout class in years, and I'm back at Barry's bootcamp lifting weights. So I feel more myself. I feel like I have more energy for work, for my family."

Added the star: "It feels like a lot of self-care at this point, just avoiding gluten and all these things that I'm sort of learning.”

Cheryl Ladd has nothing but fond memories of working with the late Farrah Fawcett on Charlie's Angels.

The actress, 74, caught up with PEOPLE at the show's 50th anniversary celebration at PaleyFest in Los Angeles, reflecting on what it was like to join season 2 as the younger sister of Fawcett’s character, Jill Munroe.

When asked if Fawcett gave her any advice, Ladd shares, “No, she didn't.”

Still, she emphasizes that Fawcett was always “warm and friendly." When the icon returned to set, Ladd says she was often "yakking" with the other stars "because they were friends."

"But she was very sweet, very nice. We had several nice roles together and time together. She was lovely,” Ladd recalls at the event on Monday, April 6, held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.

Ladd joined Charlie’s Angels as Kris Munroe in 1977, replacing Fawcett, who had left the series despite its successful first season.

Fawcett, who died in 2009 at the age of 62, still returned as a guest star in seasons 3 and 4. Ladd, meanwhile, starred on the series until it ended with season 5 in 1981.

Ladd was joined by her fellow Angels, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith, at the PaleyFest event to reflect on the show’s landmark anniversary.

Jackson, 77, played Sabrina Duncan for the show’s first three seasons, and Smith, 80, played Kelly Garrett for all five of the show’s seasons.

Charlie's Angels centered on three private investigators who, under orders from their enigmatic but never visible boss, Charlie Townsend, solved cases together using their wits and style.

When recently talking to Woman's World, Ladd remarked at how “interesting" it was that men, both "in the press and in general," were "intimidated" by the show when it first aired.

"They had to put it down in some way," she shared.

"I mean, okay, we were young women who wore bathing suits and that was part of the draw, but they missed the whole other part," she continued. "The part of empowered and highly intelligent women. Women who had to act on their feet and make quick decisions and look after each other."

Beer wore a champagne-toned, structured corset with visible boning and lace trim along the bust. The string-held corset appeared to be crafted from satin, which gave it a luxurious, vintage feel. She paired it with white lace, over-the-knee stockings. They featured intricate cut-outs and small floral accents held together by delicate ribbons.

The “bad enough” singer finished off with cream and tan athletic sneakers, grounding the look with a modern touch. She wore her hair in a relaxed, high bun with loose, face-framing tendrils, leaning into an effortless, romantic vibe. Meanwhile, her makeup was soft, featuring warm, rosy tones on the eyes and lips.

As reality TV viewers know, Lauren Conrad and Spencer Pratt were never besties — not even close.

So when Conrad was asked Wednesday on *Today* whether she would vote for Pratt — her former costar on the MTV reality show *The Hills —* in the upcoming election for Los Angeles mayor, it was *awkward*.

"I'm not a resident of Los Angles," said Conrad, who was promoting the upcoming reunion of *Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County*, the show from which* The Hills* was a spinoff, alongside Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti.

***Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with our EW Dispatch newsletter.***

Colletti quickly came to the defense of his former costar: "We live in Orange County."

Meanwhile, Cavallari added, "I don't live in L.A. either, but I think he's onto something. We will see what happens. I will always have a soft spot for Spencer."

She noted that she also asked Conrad that question on her podcast, *Let's Be Honest With Kristin Cavallari*, and she had thought, "Good answer, Lauren!"

That's probably not true for Conrad, who infamously feuded with Pratt, the boyfriend of her roommate Heidi Montag on *The Hills.* Airing between 2006 and 2010, *The Hills* began as a show depicting Conrad's post-high school life.

Meanwhile, when* Today* cohost Jenna Bush Hager asked Conrad whether she and Pratt had squashed their beef, Conrad wasn't looking at her.

When she caught Conrad's attention, LC was clear: "Sure? You're asking me about people I haven't spoken to in decades."

The contentious relationship between Conrad and Montag-Pratt infamously culminated in an argument at a nightclub — their frequent hangout spot, Les Deux — in which Conrad accused Speidi of having spread rumors about her having a sex tape.

"You know what you did!" Conrad told Montag at the time, before ending their friendship entirely.

The moment, including seeing Conrad's pain, was brutal.

Pratt declared his political aspirations in January, a year after he and Montag's home was destroyed by the city's fires in 2025. The couple married in 2008 and share sons Gunner, 8, and Ryker, 3.

"This isn't just a campaign, this is a mission," Pratt told supporters then. "We're going to expose the system. We're going into every dark corner of L.A. politics and disinfecting the city with our light. And when we are done, L.A. is going to be camera-ready again."

He is polling second in the upcoming primary election for the office, per data released this month by UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs.

A report from the* Los Angeles Times* this week called into question his eligibility, however, because he has said that he’s living in Santa Barbara County rather than the city of Los Angeles, as required. Pratt then said he planned to live in an Airstream trailer in his former neighborhood.**

** has reached out to Pratt for comment.

For those who are Team Lauren, *The Reunion: Laguna Beach* premieres April 10 on Roku.
