Corey Feldman is responding to fan outrage, alleging he was left out of a tribute to Rob Reiner at the upcoming Academy Awards.

The actor, 54, said in a March 6 post on X that he was "not invited" to Sunday's Oscars ceremony to honor Reiner, who directed him in the 1986 film "Stand By Me." The Daily Mail previously reported that Feldman was not asked to participate in a planned tribute to Reiner at the ceremony scheduled for March 15.

Feldman, though, tried to tamp down fan outrage over his alleged lack of an invitation.

"I understand many believe [it's] due 2 being outspoken about the abuse I suffered as a child & the campaign 2 silence me," Feldman wrote in an all-caps X post. "However, this [isn't] about me! [It's] not my moment @ all! [It's] about the tragic loss of [our] friend Rob Reiner & his memory."

Corey Feldman visits SiriusXM at SiriusXM Studios on Jan. 12, 2023, in New York City.

Feldman also asked his fans to "please take down any petitions" pushing for him to be invited to the Oscars, adding, "They [don't] need me there." He also said that he will "honor Rob my own way."

USA TODAY has reached out to the Academy for comment.

Feldman starred as Teddy in Reiner's classic coming-of-age movie "Stand By Me" opposite Wil Wheaton, Jerry O'Connell and River Phoenix.

Over the years, Feldman has spoken out about alleged sexual abuse in Hollywood, including claiming in a 2025 documentary that his late "Lost Boys" co-star Corey Haim molested him on the set of the 1987 film. He has also alleged he was abused by other men in the business.

Reiner was found dead alongside his wife, Michele Singer, in December. Their son, Nick Reiner, has been charged with their murder. He has pleaded not guilty.

The incident occurred during MGK's Lost Americana Tour

MGK was concerned after a fan fell through a hole in the stage at his recent London show.

The "Cliché" singer, 35, brought several fans on stage while performing his song "Bloody Valentine" during his Lost Americana Tour stop at London's O2 Arena on Thursday, March 5 — and one took what could've been a very dangerous fall.

Fan-captured videos of the moment were shared to social media and showed MGK walking on stage while followed by fans, one of whom slipped into a gap in the floor. "Oh my God! Hold up," said the musician, who quickly changed a lyric of "Bloody Valentine" and sang, "I really hope that you're okay."

After helping the fan back on stage, MGK asked, "Are you okay?" The fan indicated they were alright, to which he replied, "Let's f---ing go!"

He later checked on the fan, who tried to apologize. "Oh, dude. No, no, no," said MGK. "Sorry? That was the coolest thing you could have ever f---ing done. This is the first time I've ever sold out the O2. That's the first time anyone's ever fell off the stage, dude. Let's f---ing go."

MGK embraced the fan for a hug, and they walked over to his mic stand — where he gave the attendee a gift.

"Okay, you know what? I wear this hat every f---ing day," said the Grammy-nominated star, picking up the "special" hat and explaining it was a gift from a friend. "F--- that, it's yours."

The moment went down about halfway through the show, and he continued performing afterward.

MGK's Lost Americana Tour continues its European leg through March 12 in Dublin. He'll then play a string of April shows in Australia and New Zealand.

The tour's second U.S. leg kicks off in May with co-headliner Wiz Khalifa.

MGK's Lost Americana album came out in August 2025 and reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

Conan O'Brien is getting ready to host Sunday's Oscars, which will include a tribute to the late actor and filmmaker Rob Reiner. Ahead of the ceremony, O'Brien opened up about the "sadness" surrounding the loss of his close friend.

The comedian hosted a holiday party in December that Reiner and his wife, Michele, attended the night before they were found stabbed to death.

"Very simply, we had a party, we invited our really good friends and then, the next day, this terrible thing happened," O'Brien told *The Hollywood Reporter* of his name being connected to the tragic events. "Whatever difficulties my wife and I have experienced having our name attached to it are nothing compared to the scale of the tragedy for the family and the loss of Rob and Michele. If you're a known person, your name is going to get dragged into things sometimes, but it is not a hardship. There is only sadness that they're gone."

The Reiners were found dead in their home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, Calif., on Dec. 14, and their son Nick was subsequently arrested and charged with murder. Sources later told PEOPLE that Rob and Nick had engaged in a heated argument at O'Brien's Dec. 13 party, with one person telling the outlet that Nick was "freaking everyone out, acting crazy, kept asking people if they were famous." Another report from NBC News said that Nick's behavior left his parents and other guests feeling uncomfortable.

O'Brien told *THR* that he has opted not to address the loss of the Reiners on his own podcast because that felt "disrespectful." The comedian did previously open up about his relationship with the Reiners in a *New Yorker *profile.

"I knew Rob and Michele, and then increasingly got closer and closer to them, and I was seeing them a lot," he said. "My wife and I were seeing them a lot, and they were so — they were just such lovely people. And to have that experience of saying good night to somebody and having them leave and then find out the next day that they're gone. … I think I was in shock for quite a while afterward."

"It's just so awful," O'Brien continued. "And I think about how Rob felt about things that are happening in the country, how involved he was, how much he put himself out there — and to have that voice go quiet in an instant is still hard for me to comprehend."

Nick Reiner has pleaded not guilty to the murder charges, and his next hearing is set for April 29.

The 2026 Oscars air Sunday on ABC at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. The ceremony will also stream on Hulu.

The "Pink Pony Club" singer, 28, left little to the imagination with a sheer black ensemble for a daring evening look when attending the McQueen show during Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, March 8.

Roan slipped into a floor-length gown by the designer with see-through cutouts, opting to free the nipple and flash a black g-string for a boundary-pushing take on the naked dress trend. The silk number was high-neck and sleeveless.

The Grammy winner accessorized with gothic jewelry, including a massive jewel-adorned choker, coordinating statement earrings that dangled to her shoulders and two chunky black wrist cuffs that matched.

She rocked dark glam, complete with black eye makeup and red lips. Her hair was voluminous, boasting rich red curls that hung down past her waist and down her back.

Roan posted several detailed shots of her look on Instagram.

"inches + body + inches + body = @alexandermcqueen... Such a sick show omg 🤍 ty for having me !!" she wrote in part, also giving styling credit in her caption.

The "Good Luck, Babe!" singer has been making the rounds at Paris Fashion Week. She attended the Vivienne Westwood show on Saturday, March 7.

There, she also wore a gothic look, including a gray corseted gown by the designer, complete with a super low-cut bust and accentuated shoulder details atop her long sleeves. The back of the dress, meanwhile, was the moment.

The gown appeared long in the front, while the backside was cropped to reveal a tiny black thong beneath a tulle ruffle lining. She wore black, sheer stockings.

She styled it with lace fishnet gloves and a black choker.

She powdered her face white and added rosy blush on her cheeks. Her eye makeup was a mix of silver and black with a chrome lip, while her red curls were piled high on her head for an updo hairstyle.

Roan attended the Mugler show on March 6 in a more understated — but no less dramatic — look. For the show, she wore a neutral-toned body-hugging look with long sleeves that nipped in at the waist. Her hair was tied up in victory rolls, which hairstylist Lacy Redway called "diva rolls."

Roan is no stranger to making statements with her looks, nor revealing a bit of her body either. At the 2026 Grammy Awards last month, the singer rocked the naked dress trend with a next-level sheer gown.

She arrived to the red carpet in a custom sheer Mugler gown with an invisible bodice that had maroon fabric hanging from it. Specifically, the maroon dress draped down from faux nipples and nipple rings.

It flowed out into a train behind her and showed off her black panties underneath. For red carpet interviews, she draped a matching maroon cape over her look. She also wore her long red hair in front of her breasts for a more demure angle.

Roan's look was inspired by the spring/summer 1998 "Jeu de Paume" couture collection by Manfred Thierry Mugler, revisited for the spring/summer 2026 collection by Miguel Castro Freitas.

Cheryl Ladd says she initially turned down the role of private investigator Kris Munroe in Charlie's Angels

In an interview with Woman's World, the actress says she told producer Aaron Spelling no because she was worried about filling in the gap left by Farrah Fawcett

"Nobody can go in there and try to be Farrah Fawcett or try to be the new Farrah Fawcett," she said

Cheryl Ladd says she initially turned down the role of private investigator Kris Munroe in Charlie's Angels because she was worried about filling in the gap left by Farrah Fawcett.

Ladd, 74, joined Kate Jackson, 77, and Jaclyn Smith, 80, as a lead on the show during its second season in 1977 to replace Fawcett and remained on it until its cancellation in 1981.

In an interview with Woman's World, Ladd said she was wary of trying to "be the new" Farrah — but ultimately convinced she would find her own niche.

"I had worked for [executive producer] Aaron Spelling on a couple of things, so when Farrah was leaving, he called me and said, 'Cheryl, I want you to replace Farrah. I want you to come in and be on the show,' " she remembered. "And I said, 'Oh, thank you, but no thank you. I appreciate it, but no.' I'm sure he was quite upset with me, because he had given me work before and just didn't understand."

She continued: "So he went off and looked at hundreds of girls and finally called me back and said, 'I can't find the girl I want. I want you, Cheryl. Just come in and talk to me?' So I did. I sat across the desk from him in his office and I said, 'Aaron, what would I play? Nobody can go in there and try to be Farrah Fawcett or try to be the new Farrah Fawcett. What would I play?' "

Spelling, who died in 2006, ultimately convinced her that she would be her own character on the show, and wouldn't be taking the place of anyone, including Fawcett, who died in 2009.

"He said, 'What do you mean?' and I said, 'I don't know. Could I be funny?' And he said, 'Why couldn't you be funny?' That was interesting," she recounted. "Then I said, 'If I was a rookie, I could make mistakes.' And he said, 'I love that.' "

She continued: "And this is Aaron's absolute genius; he said, 'What if you're Jill's little sister, so you're already part of the family?' And then I said, 'You have an actress.' Now I knew who Kris Munroe was going to be and how to play something that wasn't trying to be Farrah, other than the fact that Kris looked up to her big sister and thought she was wonderful and I got to love her with everyone else."

The show, which centered on three elite private investigators who solved cases under orders from their enigmatic (but never seen) boss, Charlie Townsend, ultimately became a cultural phenomenon.

The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now!

Ladd will reunite with Jackson and Smith at PaleyFest in Los Angeles on April 6 to mark the 50th anniversary of the show by looking back at the classic series and reflecting on its enduring impact.

The trio told PEOPLE in an earlier joint statement that they were excited to celebrate the show on its anniversary, saying, "Charlie's Angels surprised everyone when Farrah, Jackie and I hit the ground running (thanks, in part, to Farrah's iconic poster) and the pilot went through the glass ceiling. Overnight, we were hailed with something akin to 'rock star fame.' When Cheryl joined us in the second season, she added a special element uniquely hers and the crazy went on."
