At the time, Jonas joked about creating a Brotherhood of the Traveling Pants movie with Powell
Then, during his Wednesday, June 3 Tonight Show appearance, he and host Jimmy Fallon agreed it would be a "great" movie
Nick Jonas and Glen Powell shared more than just a set on Scream Queens.
During the Wednesday, June 3 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jonas immediately revealed that when he was on the show in February, he made a "bizarre" discovery: Powell's plane ticket in the pocket.
After Jonas, 33, concluded his performance and settled back in his dressing room, he said, "I felt something in my pocket, and I pulled out whatever was in there, and it was a plane ticket that belonged to Glen Powell."
The Power Ballad actor noted that his Scream Queens costar is "a good buddy" of his, and explained that "brands from time to time will lend you clothes to wear to an event so you look cool, and I guess Glen had worn these pants prior to me getting the pants."

"The note was still in there," Jonas said.
Fallon noted that Jonas posted about the unlikely event on his Instagram in February. "You called it the Brotherhood of the Traveling Pants," Fallon said, with Jonas saying he thinks it's a good idea.

"That movie with he and I would get made," Jonas said, with Fallon encouraging him that it would be a great movie and offered to be the third friend.
"You should leave him a note if you think that Glen Powell will end up wearing these pants," Fallon added.
"Well, he might. Could you have a pen? I can write something down for him," Jonas joked back, and wrote his note on a tissue that read: "Dear Glen, please just a friendly reminder to talk to the producers about including your good friend Nick Jonas in the sequel to Top Gun. Thank you."

After Jonas posted about the incident in February, Powell, 37, was quick to respond in the Instagram post's comment section.
"They didn't wash these for you?!? I feel like the Brotherhood of the Traveling Pants should incorporate some sort of hygiene pact," Powell quipped.
The Top Gun: Maverick star later told Entertainment Tonight that Jonas FaceTimed him, showing him the ticket, and then asked if he could share the mix-up on his social media. "I love Nick so much," Powell began, before replying that he's saying "not no" to the prospect of Brotherhood of the Traveling Pants.
Jonas' latest movie, Power Ballad, is now in theaters. He also stars in Jumanji: Open World, which opens on Dec. 25.
