The lights are shining bright on Broadway!

Several celebrities from movies and television are making their way to New York City to appear on the Broadway stage in 2026. From the stars of your favorite on-air shows to actors who have starred in movie classics, this year's roster is stacked.

For fans of the FX hit The Bear, series stars Ayo Edebiri, Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach are making their Broadway debuts in two different plays. Or for those who prefer The Pitt, breakout actor Patrick Ball is scrubbing in for his first-ever shift on Broadway.

Also leaving marks on the Main Stem this year are Harry Potter stars Tom Felton and Daniel Radcliffe, top 2026 awards show contender Rose Byrne, fresh from her big-screen performance in 2025's If I Had Legs I'd Kick You, and beloved leading lady June Squibb.

Then, there's Luke Evans leading the starry revival of the beloved musical The Rocky Horror Show. "I've always wanted to do Broadway, I just didn't think I would be in stilettos and fishnets," he previously told PEOPLE with a laugh.

Don Cheadle, Adrien Brody. Laurie Metcalf, Nathan Lane, Lea Michele, John Lithgow and Taraji P. Henson are also taking the stage in 2026 — adding some stiff competition to this summer's Tony Awards. Who will take home the "T" in the coveted EGOT? It's anybody's guess with this line-up.

Daniel Radcliffe — Every Brilliant Thing

Daniel Radcliffe stars in the Broadway premiere of Every Brilliant Thing, the acclaimed solo play by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe.

Previews begin Feb. 21 at the Hudson Theatre, with opening night set for March 12. The strictly limited engagement runs through May 24.

Directed by Jeremy Herrin and Macmillan, the heartwarming play follows a man who looks back at his life and the small joys that kept him going. The show has been performed in more than 80 countries and was adapted into an HBO special starring Donahoe.

"The play is so totally unique in its own thing. Like, I just knew as soon as I read it, I can't pass this up," Radcliffe previously told PEOPLE.

Radcliffe was last on Broadway in the acclaimed 2023 revival of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along. The production, which also starred Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez, earned him his first Tony Award.

This is be Radcliffe's sixth Broadway credit since making his debut in 2008's Equus. On London's West End, the actor has appeared in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and Endgame.

Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf — Death of a Salesman

Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf are husband and wife in Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman.

Directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, the revival production reunites Lane and Metcalf after their run in David Mamet's 2008 comedy play November (also directed by Mantello).

Previews begin March 6 at the Winter Garden Theatre, ahead of an April 9 opening. The limited engagement runs through June 14.

Lane takes on the role of aging salesman Willy Loman, who confronts his failing career, fractured family relationships and the unraveling promise of the American dream in the classic work. Metcalf plays his wife, Linda, the moral center of the Loman household.

Also in the cast is Poor Things' Christopher Abbott, The Gilded Age's Ben Ahlers, Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa's son Joaquin Consuelos and How to Get Away with Murder alum Jack Falahee.

Death of a Salesman has been considered one of the defining works of American drama since its 1949 Broadway debut. The original production won a Pulitzer Prize and a Tony Award.

The play has returned to Broadway in numerous revivals, including ones starring Dustin Hoffman, Philip Seymour Hoffman and, most recently, Wendell Pierce.

Lane and Metcalf are Broadway regulars and Tony winners. Metcalf last appeared on the Main Stem in 2025's Little Bear Ridge Road, and Lane in 2023's Pictures from Home.

Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach — Dog Day Afternoon

Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jon Bernthal bring their friendship to Broadway!

The Emmy Award-winning stars of The Bear are starring in Stephen Adly's stage adaptation of the 1975 crime movie Dog Day Afternoon.

Previews begin March 10 at the August Wilson Theatre, ahead of its opening on March 30. The limited engagement runs through June 28.

Directed by Rupert Goold, the play revisits the true story of a 1972 Brooklyn bank robbery that spiraled out of control and transfixed the nation.

"A Brooklyn bank hold up quickly goes wrong, and with each gut-wrenching twist that unfolds, chaos ensues that ignites the city as they follow the actions of a man on the edge," the synopsis teases.

Both actors make their Broadway debuts in the production, with Bernthal as Sonny Amato (Al Pacino's character in the original film) and Moss-Bachrach as Sal DeSilva (John Cazale on screen).

Bernthal and Moss-Bachrach have costarred in The Bear since its first season in 2022. Bernthal's other credits include the shows His & Hers and Daredevil: Born Again. Moss-Bachrach is also a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing The Thing in The Fantastic Four: The First Steps.

John Lithgow — Giant

John Lithgow is Roald Dahl in the Broadway premiere of Giant.

The Tony Award winner stars as the famed storyteller in Mark Rosenblatt's play that comes to Broadway after a sold-out run on London's West End.

Previews begin March 11 at the Music Box Theater, ahead of an March 23 opening. The strictly limited engagement runs through June 28.

Directed by Nicholas Hytner, the play revisits a pivotal moment in the life of Dahl, who has a history of difficult behavior and antisemitic remarks.

The play sees the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory author at a moment of crisis, asking questions about creativity, accountability and redemption.

Lithgow, who won an Olivier Award for his performance across the pond, has a decades-long career in film, television and theater. Screen credits include The World According to Garp, Conclave, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Dexter and The Crown.

Giant marks his first time on Broadway since 2019's Hillary and Clinton. He won Tony Awards for his performances in the 2002 musical Sweet Smell of Success and the 1973 play The Changing Room.

Patrick Ball and Alden Ehrenreich — Becky Shaw

Patrick Ball and Alden Ehrenreich make their Broadway debuts in Becky Shaw.

Previews begin at the Helen Hayes Theater on March 18, with an official opening on April 6. The limited engagement runs through June 14.

Written by Gina Gionfriddo and directed by Trip Cullman, the play follows a blind date that "spirals spectacularly off the rails."

The dark comedy also stars stage veteran Linda Emond.

Ball made his breakthrough as senior resident Frank Langdon in HBO's hit medical drama The Pitt. Despite Becky Shaw being his Broadway debut, it's not his first time on the stage. The actor played the titular character in Hamlet at Los Angeles' Mark Taper Forum in 2025.

Ehrenreich recently starred in the horror movie Weapons and the Disney+ series Ironheart. He also had roles in Cocaine Bear and Christopher Nolan's star-packed historical drama Oppenheimer.

Adrien Brody and Tessa Thompson — The Fear of 13

Adrien Brody and Tessa Thompson take on a new drama.

The actors make their Broadway debuts in The Fear of 13, a powerful new play about the real-life journey of Nick Yarris, a man who spent more than two decades on death row before being exonerated by DNA evidence.

The limited engagement production begins previews March 19 at the James Earl Jones Theatre, with opening night on April 15. The production runs through July 12.

With a script by Lindsey Ferrentino and direction by David Cromer, the work is adapted from Yarris' own first-person account.

"Nick's got a story to tell you. About how a routine traffic stop turned into a conviction for murder. About how he spent the next 22 years on death row. About how he finally petitioned the court to ask not for an appeal — but for his execution date. And about what happened next," the synopsis teases.

Brody, known for his roles on screen in The Pianist and The Brutalist, portrays Nick. He previously played the role during a 2024 production in London. Meanwhile, Thompson plays prison volunteer Jackie. Her credits include the Netflix series His & Hers, and the movies Hedda, Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder.

Luke Evans — The Rocky Horror Show

A jump to the left? More like a jump to Broadway.

Luke Evans – known for roles on screen in Beauty and the Beast, Nine Perfect Strangers and The Hobbit trilogy — makes his Broadway debut as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the upcoming revival of The Rocky Horror Show.

Previews begin March 26, 2026 at Studio 54, ahead of an April 23 opening. The limited engagement plays through June 21.

Directed by Sam Pinkleton, the beloved musical follows sweethearts Brad and Janet after their car breaks down outside a mansion, where they meet the eccentric "sweet transvestite" Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

The starry cast also features Stephanie Hsu, who received an Oscar nomination for her role in 2022's Everything Everywhere All at Once; Juliette Lewis, Rachel Dratch, Harvey Guillén and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez.

The Rocky Horror Show opened at London's Royal Court Theatre in 1973 and came to the United States the following year. The musical was adapted into a movie in 1975 starring Tim Curry.

Evans has several credits on London's West End, including Rent, Avenue Q, Miss Saigon and, more recently, Backstairs Billy.

The actor previously told PEOPLE that his take on Dr. Frank-N-Furter is going to be "different and unique."

Jim Parsons and Deborah Cox — Titanique

Titanique is setting sail for Broadway with a starry cast!

Jim Parsons and Deborah Cox star in the award-winning musical that reimagines the 1997 film Titanic through the perspective of Céline Dion.

Previews begin March 24 at the St. James Theatre, with an opening on April 12. The limited engagement runs through July 12.

Titanique first opened Off-Broadway in 2022 and has since launched multiple productions worldwide.

The synopsis teases that the "My Heart Will Go On" singer remembers the events "with more shocking twists, mega-diva antics, and face-melting vocals belting her favorite hit songs — and not even an iceberg can stop her."

Emmy winner Parsons steps into the heels of Rose's mother, Ruth DeWitt Bukater, and Cox plays socialite Molly Brown.

Marla Mindelle, who co-created the musical with Tye Blue, Constantine Rousouli and Nicholas James Connell, reprises her role as the superstar singer. Rousouli and Frankie Grande also star.

Parsons' Broadway credits include 2024's Our Town revival and Mother Play. Cox, meanwhile, made her debut in Aida in 2004. She also starred in revivals of The Wiz and Jekyll & Hyde.

Rose Byrne — Fallen Angels

Rose Byrne stars in the revival of Fallen Angels.

The play begins preview performances at the Todd Haimes Theatre on March 27, and opens officially on April 19. The limited engagement production runs through June 7.

Noël Coward's play, directed by Scott Ellis, follows two wealthy women who share the same secret lover.

Stepping into the role of the man of interest is PEOPLE's Sexiest TV Show Host Mark Consuelos in his Broadway debut. The show also stars Tony winner Kelli O'Hara.

Byrne made her Broadway debut in Ellis' 2014 staging of You Can't Take It with You. She also starred in the 2022 Off-Broadway production of Medea as the title character.

On screen, the star has appeared in 28 Weeks Later, Bridesmaids, the Insidious franchise and the Apple TV series Platonic. In 2025, she starred in the psychological drama If I Had Legs I'd Kick You, earning a Golden Globe Award and an Oscar nomination.

Taraji P. Henson — Joe Turner's Come and Gone

Taraji P. Henson is making her Broadway debut in August Wilson's Joe Turner's Come and Gone.

The revival begins previews March 30 at the Barrymore Theatre, with an opening night on April 25. The engagement runs through July 12.

The play is set in 1911 and tells the story of Herald Loomis, a man haunted by the trauma of enslavement and searching for his wife after years in captivity. He moves into a boardinghouse where he meets the community.

Henson stars as Bertha Holly, the warm matriarch of the boarding house. She is joined in the cast by Cedric "The Entertainer" as her husband Seth.

The production is directed by Emmy winner Debbie Allen. The show first premiered on Broadway in 1988, starring Angela Bassett.

Henson has had an extensive career in film and television, starring in works such as Empire, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Hidden Figures and the 2023 movie musical adaptation of The Color Purple.

Cedric, meanwhile, has appeared in Def Comedy Jam, The Steve Harvey Show and the 2002 movie Barbershop, among others. The actor also stars in the sitcom The Neighborhood.

Henson previously teased in an interview with PEOPLE that she and Cedric are "gonna find some funny bits" in the play.

Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle — Proof

Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle are making their Broadway debuts in the revival of Proof.

Previews begin March 31 at the Booth Theatre, ahead of an April 16 opening. The strictly limited production runs through July 19.

David Auburn's play tells the story of a young woman navigating her late father's mathematical genius and mental illness.

The show, directed by Hamilton's Thomas Kail, also stars Emmy winner Samira Wiley and Grammy nominee Jin Ha .

The play premiered Off-Broadway in 2000 before transferring to Broadway that same year. The work was adapted into a 2005 movie starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Anthony Hopkins and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Edebiri had her breakthrough in FX's The Bear, earning an Emmy Award for acting and her first directing nomination. She has also starred in After the Hunt, Bottoms, Theater Camp and Abbott Elementary.

​​Cheadle has an extensive career in movies and television, including Boogie Nights, Hotel Rwanda, Crash, House of Lies and Black Monday. He is also known for playing James Rhodes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While Proof marks Cheadle's Broadway debut, he previously appeared in Topdog/Underdog at the Public Theater in 2001.

Carrie Coon — Bug

Carrie Coon is in Bug!

Previews began Dec. 17, 2025 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. The show opened Jan. 8 after two preview performances were cancelled because of a medical emergency.

The David Cromer-directed thriller follows the relationship between a paranoid veteran and a lonely waitress. The pair become isolated in an Oklahoma motel room and have discussions of conspiracy theories.

The play is written by Tony winner Tracy Letts, who married Coon in 2013.

It debuted onstage in London in 1996 and premiered Off-Broadway in 2004 before being adapted into a 2006 film starring Michael Shannon, Ashley Judd and Harry Connick Jr.

Coon made her Broadway debut in the 2012 revival of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, earning a Tony nomination. The actress is also known for her on-screen roles in The White Lotus and The Gilded Age.

Cynthia Nixon and June Squibb — Marjorie Prime

June Squibb and Cynthia Nixon are mother and daughter in Marjorie Prime.

The show officially opened on Dec. 5, 2025 at the Hayes Theater, and runs through Feb. 15.

Jordan Harrison's play is about a woman with dementia who interacts with a holographic companion programmed to resemble her late husband.

The production, directed by Tony Award nominee Anne Kauffman, cemented Squibb as the oldest performer to ever open a Broadway show in history. Tony winner Danny Burstein and Promising Young Woman breakout Christopher Lowell also star.

Squibb made her Broadway debut in 1959 in the original production of Gypsy. In addition to her several stage credits, she has starred on-screen in The Age of Innocence, Nebraska, Thelma and, most recently, Eleanor the Great.

Nixon, also a stage veteran, is best known for her role in Sex and the City.

Squibb recalled her Broadway debut in an interview with PEOPLE, saying, "I moved a lot differently then. I was doing a lot of bumps and grinds every night... Not so many bumps and grinds now."

Lea Michele — Chess

Here's what you missed on Broadway.

Lea Michele stars in a new production of Chess, the musical from EGOT-winning lyricist Tim Rice and ABBA songwriters Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeusd.

The show officially opened in November 2025 at the Imperial Theatre, and was recently extended through June 14.

Chess takes place during a tense Cold War-era chess tournament between American grandmaster Freddie Trumper and his Soviet rival Anatoly Sergievsky. The show follows the romantic and political fallout when the tournament's Hungarian-born arbiter, Florence Vassy, becomes entangled in a messy love triangle.

Starring alongside Michele are theater veterans Aaron Tveit and Nicholas Christopher.

Michele was last on Broadway in the 2022 revival of Funny Girl. She is also known for starring in Les Misérables, Ragtime, Fiddler on the Roof and Spring Awakening.

The actress skyrocketed to fame in Ryan Murphy's 2009 Fox hit series Glee, and went on to appear in the 2011 movie New Year's Eve and Murphy's comedy series Scream Queens.

Mark Strong and Lesley Manville — Oedipus

Mark Strong and Lesley Manville star in Oedipus.

The show officially opened in November 2025 at Studio 54, and closes Feb. 8.

Straight from the West End, the Robert Icke-adapted production transforms the epic tragedy as a modern political thriller. The show "reimagines Ancient Greek mythology to bring the secrets of the past bursting into the present," per the synopsis.

Strong is known for his movie roles in Oliver Twist, 2009's Sherlock Holmes, Kick-Ass and the Kingsman franchise. On the small screen, he recently starred in Nine Perfect Strangers, The Penguin and Dune: Prophecy.

The actor was nominated for a Tony Award in 2016 for his performance in A View from the Bridge.

Manville has acted in many stage shows in London. Her recent on-screen roles include Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris and Queer. She also played Princess Margaret in Netflix's The Crown.

Tom Felton — Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Tom Felton is back in the Wizarding World.

The original Harry Potter movie actor reprises his role as Draco Malfoy in Broadway's Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Felton began performances at the Lyric Theatre in November 2025, marking his Broadway debut. He stars in the show through May 10, 2026.

The Tony Award-winning work — penned by Jack Thorne as the eighth story in the Harry Potter series with help from J.K. Rowling and director John Tiffany — picks up 19 years after Deathly Hallows and follows the next generation of wizards as they navigate the latest Hogwarts mystery.

In addition to the Harry Potter movies, Felton has starred in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the historical miniseries Labyrinth and The CW's The Flash. In 2020, he acted in the family horror movie A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting.

"The fans are really, really gracious and excited. So I'm just thrilled to be part of it," he previously told PEOPLE of his stage role.
