Bravo stars shared messages of support for Mary M. Cosby after news of her son Robert Cosby Jr.'s death broke

The Bravo community is rallying around Mary M. Cosby in the wake of her son's death.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star's son Robert Cosby, Jr. died on Monday, Feb. 23 at the age of 23 in Utah, the Salt Lake City Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE on Wednesday, Feb. 25. Mary also confirmed Robert Jr.'s death with a statement on social media.

After news of Robert's death broke, messages of support poured in from Mary's RHOSLC cast members, as well as her fellow Bravo stars.

Real Housewives executive producer and Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen was one of the first to share a statement, writing on Threads, "Devastatingly sad news out of SLC. This is every parent's worst nightmare. My heart is broken for Mary, and I am sending all my love to her and Robert Sr."

RHOSLC's Whitney Rose shared a broken heart and white wing emoji over a black screen on Instagram Stories. Castmate Lisa Barlow also shared emojis in support of Mary, adding several hearts in a comment on Mary's statement, which she shared on Instagram on Wednesday.

Several other Bravo stars also rallied in the comments of Mary's post, including The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey, who wrote that she is "devastated" to learn of Robert's death.

"My heart goes out to you and your family. I pray he is now resting in peace," wrote Bailey. "May God cover you during this incredibly difficult time. My prayers are with you. We love you Mary.🙏🏽❤️."

Another RHOA star, Shamea Morton, said, "Sending you so much love sis 🙏🏾." The Real Housewives of Orange County's Gina Kirschenheiter also commented, writing, "My heart breaks for you Mary ❤️ prayers for your whole family ❤️."

"I can't even articulate my heartbreak for you, sis… but I feel it deeply," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Bozoma Saint John said in a comment on the same post. "I'm so very sorry that you, Robert Jr and the family are suffering through this. I pray that God blesses you with peace that passes all understanding at this time. I love you, sis ❤️."

"May God wrap you and your entire family in His arms," The Real Housewives of Potomac's Wendy Osefo said in her message to Mary. "Love you 🙏🏾🤍."

Julia Fox commented on Mary's post as well, writing, "I will never get over this. I'm so sorry Mary."

Bravo also shared a statement in the wake of Robert's death. "We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Mary's beloved son," the network said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE. "Robert Jr. Mary is a cherished member of our family, and our thoughts, love, and deepest condolences are with her and her loved ones during this incredibly difficult time."

In her statement announcing her son's death, Mary wrote, "Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord."

"Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God's promise and in knowing he is finally at peace," the RHOSLC star continued. "We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow."

The Salt Lake City Police Department confirmed Robert's death to PEOPLE on Feb. 25, saying that authorities responded to a possible overdose after receiving a call regarding a "full arrest/medical emergency" of a 23-year-old male.
