Who was voted off on Survivor 49 tonight?

Before arriving on the island, Nate Moore had already had experience netting a million — and then some. The film producer had spent over a decade helping create some of the most acclaimed suphero movies of all time. But despite his film knowledge, he dealt with a very different type of "cinema" when he immediately hit a generation gap on the beach. Regardless, Nate got in good with a majority in his first two tribes so that, even when people came for him, he would deflect their attacks as if he was wearing a suit of vibranium. Coming into the merge, Nate felt he had assembled the perfect team that would help carry him to the end of the proverbial comic book. But he had no idea his arch nemeses would come from within. Sage Ahrens-Nichols and Jawan Pitts knew they were on the outs of Uli, and were looking to kick off the merge with a big move. And so, after getting rid of Shannon Fairweather last time, they continued their Uli onslaught, flipping to take out Nate.

Were any advantages found or played on Survivor 49 tonight?
Yes! After the first individual Immunity Challenge of the season, MC Chukwujekwu was finally able to uncover the instructions to find her idol. However, in the process of doing so, she ran straight into Savannah Louie. What resulted was a tense encounter that had the women simultaneously giving each other faulty promises while diving headfirst for the key. In the end, MC was able to successfully get her idol before Tribal Council. But, correctly assuming that Savannah would tell everyone about her find, she immediately played it, nullfying zero votes against her.
Additionally, with Rizo Velovic's idol also public information, he made an open declaration at Tribal Council, saying that he would be playing it that night. However, that proved to be a big bluff from "the man, the myth, the legend, R-I-Z-G-O-D, RizGod, baby!" as he chose to keep it in his pocket. And, considering that he was left out of the vote against Nate, he may need to use it sooner rather than later.
The merge kicks off with a scramble
The Survivor producers made sure to hit the ground running at the merge — literally! Soon after uniting, everyone was tasked with running around the jungle searching for keys to unlock a chest. After a comprehensive back-and-forth, Sage was able to pick the lucky key. She earned an advantage in the upcoming challenge, sitting out of the team portion to earn a spot immediately in the individual portion.
