PEOPLE has the exclusive first look at Grande, 32, and Erivo, 38, taking the stage to perform two of Glinda and Elphaba's songs from 2024's Wicked: Part One.
Grande's opening number is a new arrangement of "No One Mourns the Wicked," the first song in Winnie Holzman and Stephen Schwartz's hit Broadway musical. In a shimmery champagne-colored gown, the Grammy winner is backed by a large group of backup dancers and a choir supported by a live orchestra. There's even audience participation, as the crowd lifts bouquets of flowers overhead timed with Grande's high notes.
Erivo's PEOPLE-exclusive clip is a snippet of the tail end of her dazzling Wicked solo "The Wizard and I." In a menswear-inspired look and lit with — of course — green, the British star belts out Elphaba's desire to meet Oz's Wizard as emerald-clad dancers twirl off the stage.
In addition to those Wicked: Part One numbers, Erivo, Grande and costars Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, Marissa Bode, Ethan Slater and Bowen Yang, will take the stage in One Wonderful Night to preview songs from the sequel. Per NBC, that includes the leading ladies' emotional version of "For Good," the duet that gives the new movie its name.
Wicked: One Wonderful Night airs Thursday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, streaming on Peacock starting Nov. 7. The Jon M. Chu-directed Wicked: For Good is in theaters Nov. 21.
