Senate Republicans are moving to enforce Donald Trump's recent executive action aimed at halting China and Russia from buying U.S. farmland. Republican Sens. Jim Banks of Indiana and Tommy Tuberville of Alabama are quarterbacking a new bill to strip foreign adversaries of the U.S. of their ability to purchase American forest, agriculture and timberlands. 'Nearly two-thirds of Indiana's 23 million acres are farmland. Allowing foreign adversaries to purchase and control any part of our country is foolish, let alone agricultural land that Americans rely on for nutrition,' Banks exclusively told DailyMail.
