The iconic fashion of Euphoria is back with a bang.

The HBO drama's third season premiered on April 12 and has dropped two episodes so far, with the next shaping up to be one of the most dramatic yet. Airing on Sunday, April 26, episode 3 will center on the wedding of Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi).On Thursday, April 23, official photos from the episode were released and promptly caused a stir among fans online, mostly due to the, frankly, insane outfits that guests have chosen to wear.

I certainly expected nothing less from one of the most chaotic shows on television, but even I was shocked by Rue's choice of footwear and Maddy's jaw-dropping revenge dress. Ahead, I've ranked the wedding outfits in order of how fast they would spark another tearful bathroom breakdown from Cassie.

Maddy's Skin-Bearing Ensemble

Attending the wedding of your former best friend and the ex-boyfriend who left you for her is a risky move, but leave it to Maddy (Alexa Demie) to lean into the chaos. No part of me is surprised that she shows up to the ceremony in a revealing green gown and matching boa — and no part of me will be surprised when Cassie is inevitably up in arms about how fabulous she looks.

Rue's Converse

Dresses aren't exactly Rue's style, so it's likely that no one expects her to wear one, but the converse Zendaya sports here might put Cassie over the edge. I can practically hear the bride shrieking through tears, "Couldn't you at least have worn a kitten heel?!"

Leave it to Jules (Hunter Schafer) to totally reinvent wedding guest dress codes. She walks to the beat of her own drum, and I applaud her for that, but if you have to wax your bikini line to wear a dress, it's probably a pretty risky choice for the nuptials of your high school friends.

Lexi's Prim and Proper Bridesmaids Dress

Lexi (Maude Apatow) is, of course, part of her sister Cassie's bridal party. It seems unlikely that the pink and bow-adorned dress that Cassie surely hand-picked for them will cause any kind of stir, especially since it appears that Lexi hasn't taken any liberties with tailoring.

I'd hope that Cassie's own dress wouldn't cause drama at her wedding, but with these characters, you truly never know. Surely she's telling everyone that'll listen that she's never, ever been happier, but I can't help but notice the pained expression on her face in this snap. Maybe she's second-guessing her decision to marry Nate, or maybe her corset is just too tight. We'll just have to wait to find out.

- Bryton James, star of *Family Matters* and *The Young and the Restless*, finalized his divorce from Jahaira Myers last month.

- In a new filing, she's seeking spousal support, claiming the actor earns $34,000 a month.

- Myers is a professional dancer who recently performed on Beyonce's *Cowboy Carter Tour*.

Bryton James’ divorce has been finalized, yet the family matters continue.

Jahaira Myers, ex-wife of the *Family Matters* alum and current star on *The Young and the Restless*, has reportedly filed a request for spousal support.

According to TMZ, Myers, a professional dancer who has worked with Beyonce and Usher, claims James earns more than $34,000 a month, while her income is about $1,150 per week before taxes. Myers cites the unpredictability of her industry, with short-term gigs dependent on live performances, rehearsals, and touring schedules.

Jahaira Myers did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment, nor did representatives for Bryton James.

James and Myers separated in June 2025 after only three months of marriage. The actor filed for divorce that October, citing irreconcilable differences, and asked to terminate the ability of the court to award spousal support.

The estranged couple’s divorce was finalized on March 24. Weeks later, Myers filed for support.

Not long after their March 2025 wedding, Myers hit the road with Beyonce for the *Cowboy Carter Tour*. James was a proud husband, sharing photos in May of his then-wife performing onstage with Queen B.

“What you’re looking at is the culmination of a lifetime of work, discipline, dedication, strength, bravery, and belief that my love [Jahaira] continues to exude,” he captioned the since-deleted Instagram post. “Her journey is what inspiration wants to be when it grows up. And I am beyond proud to be a witness to her art as we share this life together.”

Myers left a comment, telling her husband: “Sharing this life and this stage with you is the greatest gift. Thank you for seeing me the way you do.”

This was the second marriage for James, who was previously wed to Ashley Leisinger for three years until 2014.

In a 2021 interview, he admitted he didn’t think he’d ever walk down the aisle again “because I have different ideas about the institution of marriage and where it comes from and what it's about… And also, I've learned a lot about myself and how I feel about children. It’s something that I’ve always kind of known that I didn’t want to have children, but it wasn’t something that has been as concrete as it is now.”

Cyndi Lauper is clearly not one to be messed with.

“I don’t know what the f*** he’s saying,” Lauper, 72, said in the middle of her Friday, April 24, concert in Las Vegas after an attendee shouted at her from the crowd, per footage obtained by Us Weekly. “Please remember where you are, OK?”

She continued, “If you’re trying to shade me bitch, I’m going to come for you. I’m from Brooklyn, and if I want to f**ing talk, I will do a tap dance if I f**ing want.”

Lauper was met with a rousing round of applause from the remaining concertgoers before continuing with the opening night of her Las Vegas residency.

Lauper previously wrapped her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Tour before tackling the Sin City stage. She called the tour her “farewell” concert.

“It’s an arena tour, which I haven’t done in a long time,” Lauper told USA Today in June 2024 after announcing the concerts. “I just want to thank everybody, say goodbye, celebrate with fans that have been so loyal and sweet and were there for every crazy-ass concert or thing that I did and I’m excited about doing it. I don’t think physically in another five years I will be as good, but now I can do it, you know?”

“I’m half-Sicilian. Where I come from, the women endure,” Lauper exclusively told Us Weekly in 2018, detailing her empowering outlook on aging. “The women are here longer, so you gotta keep yourself healthy and that’s the most important thing to me.”

Elizabeth Smart shared an image of herself competing in a bodybuilding competition this week, saying she is proud of her accomplishments and encouraging others to try new things.

On Tuesday, the child safety activist and author shared a photo of herself on Instagram from a recent bodybuilding competition, explaining that it was her fourth competition and saying the experience "pushed me, challenged me not to give up."

"I am so proud of myself for doing this. I am so proud of my body, and I want to celebrate it," she wrote. "My body has carried me through every worst day, every hellish grueling experience, it's created and nurtured three beautiful children, my body has risen to every single challenge life has presented it with, and carried me through so I refuse to be ashamed of it."

Smart wrote that she had been "too afraid" to post the photo before, saying she was "worried that I would be judged, not taken seriously, somehow perceived as less than or now unworthy to continue work as an advocate for all survivors."

"I refuse to feel embarrassed about trying something new and am embracing my chance at life to the absolute fullest I can," she wrote. "I only hope that we all find the courage to chase new experiences, goals, bettering ourselves, and most importantly happiness."

Elizabeth Smart brings together abduction survivors in hopes of helping Jayme Closs

Smart was 14 when she was kidnapped from her Salt Lake City home in 2002 and held captive for nine months by Brian David Mitchell and his spouse Wanda Barzee, before ultimately being rescued in 2003. Her story drew national attention, and she has since become an advocate for child safety and survivors.

Mitchell was convicted of interstate kidnapping and unlawful transportation of a minor and is currently serving life in prison. Barzee pleaded guilty to kidnapping Smart and served six years of a 15-year sentence in federal prison before being released in 2018.

Today, Smart is married and a mom of three. She is also the co-founder of the Elizabeth Smart Foundation, which advocates for sexual assault survivors, providing self-defense training and financial support, among other things.

Fifty years ago today, Paul McCartney pulled off a chart feat that even most Beatles couldn't match.

On April 24, 1976, Wings' fifth studio album At the Speed of Sound hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, became the band's fourth consecutive U.S. No. 1, and went on to spend seven non-consecutive weeks at the top. It also produced the biggest-selling pop single of the entire year.

At the Speed of Sound was released on March 25, 1976 via Capitol Records in the U.S. and MPL in the U.K. It landed smack in the middle of Wings' Wings Over the World tour and arrived at the commercial peak of McCartney's post-Beatles career. Critics were lukewarm. Fans were not.

The Single That Defined a Year

"Silly Love Songs" was McCartney's response to critics who accused him of writing, as the song put it, nothing but silly love songs. The track hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and finished the year as the No. 1 song on Billboard's 1976 Year-End Hot 100. Follow-up single "Let 'Em In" peaked at No. 3 on the Hot 100 and No. 2 in the U.K. Both were massive radio staples by summer.

An Unusually Democratic Rock Album

What made At the Speed of Sound stand out from other Wings records was a structural decision McCartney made intentionally. Every member of the band got at least one lead vocal track. Linda McCartney fronted "Cook of the House." Denny Laine sang lead on "The Note You Never Wrote" and "Time to Hide." Jimmy McCulloch took "Wino Junko." Joe English led "Must Do Something About It." The move was designed to emphasize Wings as a real band rather than a Paul McCartney solo vehicle.

Critics at the time saw it as a gimmick. Fifty years on, it reads as one of the most egalitarian track listings from a major 1970s rock band.

Why the Anniversary Lands Now

Paul McCartney is currently in one of the busiest stretches of his late career. He's previously released a long-awaited Wings anthology, just came off another run of his Got Back tour, and Wings is headed to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. McCartney, now 83, has also been candid in recent interviews about what the Beatles breakup cost him and how Wings became the project that put him back in the top spot on his own terms.

At the Speed of Sound was the exact moment that happened. Fifty years ago today, the guy critics wrote off as a post-Beatles soft-rock writer was sitting at No. 1 on Billboard for the fourth album in a row, and the biggest song of 1976 belonged to him.
