Dave Portnoy has entered the chat in Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia’s drama with Alex Cooper.

“I just saw Brianna’s response to Alex Cooper,” the Barstool Sports founder, 49, said in a TikTok video on Wednesday, April 15. “Brianna just spilled my f***ing tea, what the f***.”

Portnoy’s video included a text exchange with LaPaglia, 26, about her video, saying he loved how “messy” it was.

The internet personality also addressed LaPaglia’s claims about Cooper’s thoughts on signing Grace O’Malley to Cooper’s Unwell. (O’Malley and LaPaglia cohosted the “PlanBri Uncut” podcast on Barstool before O’Malley left in 2024.)

Alex Cooper Breaks Silence on Drama With Brianna ‘Chickenfry’ LaPaglia, Releases Alleged DMs

“Alright, here’s the tea on that, this is something I did not spurt but yes … this is how it went down. When O’Malley went to Unwell and everyone was burying Chickenfry, me and Cooper had a conversation,” he claimed. “And she’s like, ‘I’m gonna do an interview with O’Malley and let her tell her side of the story.’”

Portnoy explained that he did not like the idea because he thought it would negatively affect LaPaglia. Portnoy claimed that he offered for O’Malley to speak her truth on his network multiple times but she did not take the offer. LaPaglia offered to join O’Malley on “Call Her Daddy,” which Portnoy thought was fair.

“Me and Cooper came to an agreement. If O’Malley wouldn’t go on with Bri, then she wouldn’t put O’Malley on without Bri,” he said. “Maybe I was like, ‘I’ll go ballistic if you do that.’ Maybe. Cause I was protecting Bri a little bit … O’Malley wouldn’t agree to go on with Bri so neither of them went on. That’s how it ended.”

While LaPaglia spilled Portnoy’s “tea,” he quipped that he loves the drama.

Earlier on Thursday, LaPaglia added more fuel to the fire in the ongoing drama between Cooper and influencer Alix Earle.

“OK, Alex Cooper just made a TikTok about me saying she’s not a mean girl because we had nice DMs before I found out everything about this girl,” LaPaglia, 26, said in a Wednesday TikTok video. “The people that are saying this Alex on Alix crime is like a f***ing PR stunt, these are the same people that were saying bad [things] about [Summer House’s] Amanda [Batula] and West [Wilson] that it was an April Fool’s prank. Please guys get a brain cell.”

LaPaglia claimed that she knew Cooper before her beef with Earle since LaPaglia works at Barstool Sports. (Cooper’s podcast “Call Her Daddy” was part of Barstool before she signed a massive deal with Spotify in 2021.)

“I work at Barstool, so Dave [Portnoy] introduced me to Alex Cooper,” she continued. “I was a fan of Alex Cooper before I knew the wrath of f***ing Alex Cooper and what she does to people and how she treats people.”

LaPaglia added that since meeting Cooper all those years ago, she has become “friends” with Earle. (Earle hosted her “Hot Mess” podcast, which was broadcasted via Cooper’s Unwell media network. Earle parted ways with Unwell in 2025.)

“I am friends with Alix Earle. Alix Earle told me everything that transpired between those two, two years ago at the Super Bowl,” she claimed. “She told me everything. It didn't happen between them at the Super Bowl but that’s when she told me everything. You can go time check me.”

LaPaglia shared that she did not publicly speak on Earle and Cooper’s drama before because it wasn’t her place.

Alix Earle Shares Moment She 1st Watched Alex Cooper’s Video Request to Air Their ‘Beef’

“It’s not my story to tell so I didn’t tell it. From what Alix Earle told me, Alex Cooper is a very, very mean person,” she alleged. “Or maybe when Dave called me when Alex signed Grace to Unwell and she called Dave and said, ‘I don’t give a f*** about Grace. I don’t give a f*** about Brianna. All I care about is making money.’ Yeah maybe my f***ing narrative switched on you after I found things out about you. I used to be a fan of you but now I’m clearly not anymore. I’m patiently sitting and waiting for Alix Earle to say her side of the story.”

LaPaglia also addressed Cooper releasing messages that they previously exchanged online.

“And that video you made, that was mean girl 101. That was a mean girl final boss video,” she quipped. “You seem like my ex posting my f***ing text to him when we were still dating and sending nice messages to him. You think I'm a mean girl? That was before I knew anything about you.”

Us Weekly reached out to Cooper for comment.

Rumors have swirled of a feud between Earle and Cooper since Earle exited the Unwell Network in 2025. Earlier this month, Earlie seemingly threw shade at her former boss when she reposted a video calling Cooper the “grim reaper.” After Earle’s post made headlines, Cooper decided to address the alleged feud.

“But I am obviously seeing the videos, and I’m getting tagged. I see the DMs. I see the comments. So, at this point, it just feels long overdue,” Cooper said in a TikTok video before directly addressing Earle. “Hey, girl. The passive aggressive reposts and the ‘likes’ and the commenting on things, I gotta call you out here.”

Cooper shared that there was “no NDA” and “no one was stopping” Earle from speaking her mind.

What Really Happened Between Alex Cooper and Alix Earle? A Timeline of the Podcast Drama

“I’m really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to distract from other s*** going online for you. Not interested. I know what happened and so do you,” Cooper continued. “So talk. Unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth. I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me.”

LaPaglia inserted herself into the drama earlier this month when she publicly supported Earle. Cooper subsequently called out LaPaglia on Wednesday and released several of their alleged private messages.

“This girl on girl s*** needs to stop. While Alix tries to get her story together, let me address Brianna Chickenfry who is adding onto the fake narrative and dog pile,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on Wednesday. “Brianna, you coming online saying I’m a mean girl, that I’m going to get destroyed, in peoples comments saying I hate Alex Cooper … Here are the facts. I have never met you in my life. The only communication we have ever had together is through DM.”

NEW YORK (AP) — Satou Sabally walked into the Brooklyn Basketball Training Center to a rousing cheer from the dozens of kids who had made signs welcoming the New York Liberty's newest player.

She did drills with the kids for 45 minutes after taking pictures and signing autographs.

“It’s honestly wonderful for me to be able to do my media day here and them to see what actually goes on as a pro,” Sabally said. “Just to be able to run around a little bit with them sweating for my actual workout. I knew a part of me was going to be competitive, so it was good for them to see it.”

Now she's ready to get to work with her new team and hopefully bring the Liberty a second championship in three seasons. A title is all that she feels is missing from her career.

“What I really wanted to do is win a championship," she said. “I think that it's missing on my resume. I know I’m a great player, but I do want that ring and I want to do it alongside people that I trust and alongside people that I want to really compete with in a place that embraces sports culture in a different way.”

The 27-year-old forward helped Phoenix reach the WNBA Finals last season, beating New York in the opening round. She suffered a concussion during Game 3 and missed the last game of the series.

Sabally, who is from Germany, was a free agent last season, too, and the decision came down to coming to New York or going to Phoenix. She chose the Mercury.

“Last year, I felt like out of my own ego I had to beat New York first and then join my friends,” she said. “And get closer to home. Phoenix was very far away from home for me as an international player. Like nine-hour time difference. I could only talk to my little brothers before practice. ... So I think it was a personal decision just to get closer to my own home.”

Sabally is now partnered again with her former Oregon teammate Sabrina Ionescu. The pair had the Ducks as a favorite to win the NCAA championship their senior season before the COVID-19 pandemic wiped out the tournament that year.

“I think I still have unfinished business that I would love to win,” she said. “I think it’s just such a long time since Oregon, but that is always something that we still talk about.”

She was also excited to play with Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones, Betnijah Laney-Hamilton and German teammate Leonie Fiebich. Stewart, Jones and Ionescu all officially re-signed with the team on Friday.

Sabally was saddened that she wouldn't get a chance to play with her sister Nyara, who was on the Liberty the last few seasons. She was picked up by Toronto in the expansion draft.

“You want to play together, but I think it’s a true honor that she was chosen to be a part of that expansion team and build something new with it,” Sabally said.

Can you name these iconic 1980 hits from just one lyric?

The year 1980 brought new wave energy, post-disco grooves, and unforgettable rock anthems to the airwaves. From Giorgio Moroder’s sleek production to Dolly Parton’s nail-clicking innovation, the music of 1980 defined a generation. This quiz offers a fun mental reset while testing your knowledge of the year’s biggest songs.

Think fast and guess the song. When in doubt, click to the next slide to see the answer. Each entry shows one lyric without the song title. Try to guess before scrolling to the reveal, which includes the song title, artist, and a fun fact about its origin.

Question 1

“Take me out and show me off, and put me on the scene. Dress me in the fashions of the 1980s”

Image Credit: Private Stock Records / Public Domain / Wikimedia Commons.

Answer

“Call Me” by Blondie. Giorgio Moroder initially approached Stevie Nicks to sing this track for the film American Gigolo, but she had to turn him down due to contract restrictions. Debbie Harry stepped in and wrote the lyrics in just two hours after watching an early cut of the film.

Question 2

“Are you happy, are you satisfied? How long can you stand the heat?”

Image Credit: Carl Lender / Wiki Commons.

Answer

“Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen. Bassist John Deacon wrote this funk-driven hit after spending time with Chic and being inspired by Bernard Edwards’ bass playing. Michael Jackson convinced the band to release it as a single, and it became their best-selling track in America.

Question 3

“Respectfully, I say to thee. I’m aware that you’re cheating”

Answer

“Upside Down” by Diana Ross. Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards produced this comeback hit, but Ross remixed the entire album herself with producer Russ Terrana after feeling her voice was overshadowed. The producers were initially furious, but the platinum-selling result spoke for itself.

Question 4

“She drives me crazy. She gives me hot and cold fever. She leaves me in a cool, cool sweat”

Answer

“Crazy Little Thing Called Love” by Queen. Freddie Mercury wrote this rockabilly tribute to Elvis in just five to ten minutes while taking a bath at a Munich hotel. He grabbed a guitar, which he admitted he couldn’t play well, and the limitation helped him write a tighter song.

Question 5

“Through every turn, I’ll be near you. I’ll come anytime you call. I’ll catch you when you fall. I’ll be guiding you”

Answer

“Magic” by Olivia Newton-John. Written by her longtime producer, John Farra, for the Xanadu soundtrack, this song became Newton-John’s biggest hit when the film itself flopped at the box office. It topped the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks and became the third most popular single of 1980.

Question 6

“Out on the floor. There ain’t nobody there but us. Girl, when you dance. There’s a magic that must be love”

Answer

“Rock With You” by Michael Jackson. Rod Temperton wrote this disco-funk gem after it was originally offered to Karen Carpenter, who turned it down. The song became one of Jackson’s biggest Off the Wall hits and the fourth-most-successful single of 1980.

Question 7

“Well you’re the real tough cookie with a long history. Of breaking little hearts like the one in me”

Answer

“Hit Me With Your Best Shot” by Pat Benatar. Songwriter Eddie Schwartz got the title after attending a pillow-punching therapy session in Toronto. The song almost got erased by his publisher, but an engineer secretly saved a cassette copy that eventually reached Benatar.

Question 8

“Shape it up. Get straight. Go forward. Move ahead. Try to detect it”

Image Credit: C Michael Stewart/Wikimedia Commons.

Answer

“Whip It” by Devo. Mark Mothersbaugh created the main riff by taking Roy Orbison’s “Oh, Pretty Woman” riff and slightly changing the ending. Warner Bros. didn’t expect it to become a hit, but DJ Kal Rudman championed the song, and it peaked at number 14.

Question 9

“They let you dream just to watch ’em shatter. You’re just a step on the bossman’s ladder. But you’ve got dreams he’ll never take away”

Answer

“9 to 5” by Dolly Parton. Parton agreed to star in the film only if she could write the theme song, and she created the rhythm by clicking her acrylic fingernails together on set to simulate a typewriter sound. The soundtrack even credits “nails by Dolly for her contribution.

Question 10

“It’s not far to never never land. No reason to pretend. And if the wind is right you can find the joy. Of innocence again”

Answer

“Sailing” by Christopher Cross. Cross wrote this soft rock classic inspired by sailing trips with his friend Al Glasscock during his difficult teenage years. The song helped Cross become the first artist to win all four major Grammy awards in one night.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Fernando Tatis Jr.'s two-run single capped a four-run rally in the second inning, Walker Buehler earned his first win with San Diego and the Padres beat the Seattle Mariners 5-2 Thursday night for their eighth straight win and 11th in 12 games.

Mason Miller struck out the side on 14 pitches in the ninth for his sixth save and to extend his scoreless innings streak to 30 2/3 innings, the longest active streak in the majors. He passed Randy Jones (30 innings in May 1980) for second-longest in Padres history and trails only Cla Meredith (33 2/3 innings, July-September 2006).

San Diego beat Seattle for just the fourth time in 12 games at Petco Park since 2022. Seattle won the season series 5-1 last year and claimed the inaugural Vedder Cup, named after Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, who has ties to both cities. The trophy is a Fender Telecaster guitar signed by Vedder. The teams play again May 15-17 in Seattle.

Buehler (1-1) took a two-hit shutout into the sixth before allowing three straight singles. He was chased by Cal Raleigh's RBI single, and Julio Rodríguez greeted reliever Bradgley Rodriguez with another run-scoring base hit. The Mariners had the bases loaded with one out before Adrian Morejon came on and retired the side.

Buehler threw his glove against a dugout wall after being pulled. He allowed two runs and five hits, struck out seven and walked one.

San Diego jumped on Luis Castillo (0-1) for four runs, three earned, in the second, piling up four hits and taking advantage of some shaky defense. Luis Campusano hit an RBI single for San Diego's third straight hit with one out and Jake Cronenworth reached on a throwing error by Castillo to load the bases. Another run came in on Ramón Laureano's grounder to first baseman Josh Naylor, who bobbled the ball and had only the play at the bag. Tatis followed with a two-run single to center.

Up next

Mariners RHP Logan Gilbert (1-2, 4.18 ERA) will start Friday night at home against Texas.

Padres RHP Matt Waldron is expected to be activated from the injured list to start Friday night at the Los Angeles Angels in place of Nick Pivetta, who's on the IL with right elbow inflammation.

Alix Earle is ready to share her side of the story amid drama with Alex Cooper.

“OK on it!!”, Earle, 25, wrote in the comments section of Cooper’s Monday, April 13, TikTok video where she asked the influencer to publicly address their feud.

Hours earlier, Cooper, 31, made headlines when she questioned Earle for allegedly alluding to drama between the two of them after reposting a TikTok throwing shade at the “Call Her Daddy” podcast host.

"You guys know I don't usually address this kind of stuff because it feels like a waste of time. And honestly, it's embarrassing to participate in this,” Cooper said in the video. "But I am obviously seeing the videos and I'm getting tagged. I see the DMs, I see the comments. So, at this point, it just feels long overdue," Cooper said before directly addressing Earle. "Hey, girl. The passive aggressive reposts and the ‘likes’ and the commenting on things, I gotta call you out here."

What Really Happened Between Alex Cooper and Alix Earle? A Timeline of the Podcast Drama

Cooper asked Earle to “get specific,” adding, "Just say what you gotta say about me.”

“There's no NDA and no one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself. What's the beef?" she said.

Cooper continued, "I'm really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to distract from other s*** going online for you. Not interested. I know what happened and so do you," Cooper continued. "So talk. Unless the fake narrative that you're creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth. I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me. Unless you actually have something to say, I'm out. This is over. Have a good Monday, everyone."

The TikTok comes years after Earle launched her “Hot Mess” podcast in September 2023 under Cooper’s Unwell Network. Amid rumors of a rift between Cooper and Earle, the podcast was dropped in February 2025. (Earle has since launched her “Get Real With Me” series.)

“Obviously, there's been a lot of chatter online this week about me and work. And I also have no idea what's going on," Earle said via TikTok at the time before adding in a follow-up video, “Don't really want to get into the details of it all, and I kind of can't get into the details of it all right now, but I've loved it so much, and I'm really proud of what I built with the podcast.”

Madelyn Cline built her see-through top look around a fully sheer black top that feels light and barely there. The fabric sits softly on the skin, giving it a breathable, festival-ready feel while still looking stylish. Underneath, she kept it minimal. The top’s relaxed fit added to the laid-back vibe, while the low-rise bottoms and chunky belt kept the look fun. She kept her hair loose and natural, letting it fall in soft, slightly tousled waves. Her skin looked fresh with a light, dewy base and a soft flush on the cheeks.
