Noodles with Weird Barbie (Kate McKinnon) in Cambodia? Couscous with Chrissy Teigen in Marrakesh? Yes, please! This show is a slightly decadent and occasionally ridiculous pleasure, like traveling with a true friend. No stress, no drama, no worries about calorie counts, and no pressure to learn stuff. In fact, one of the first things Teigen says upon greeting host David Chang in her (amazing) Moroccan villa is, "I shall teach you…no, I won't."

And while Chang + celebrity guest + traveling to a fabulous destination while eating tons of delicious food *might* have been a clever way to get Netflix to pay for some glam R and R (kidding?), we don't mind one bit, because the result (four jam-packed episodes) is pure escapist fun. *—Debby Wolfinsohn*

We admit it: *The Chef Show *gives us the warm fuzzies. Effortlessly transferring the 2014 movie *Chef*'s look, feel, color palette, and heart from the big to the small screen, producer and star Jon Favreau connects food to friendship in every frame. Reuniting with his buddy and producing partner, Roy Choi (whose fusion taco truck, Kogi, served as* Chef's *inspo), this series feels like a true labor of love.

Choi, a creative wizard who taught Favreau how to cook like a pro for the film (bringing him up to speed on everything from knife skills to prep to finishing touches), shares the screen with the actor on all sorts of culinary adventures, from baking bread at Tartine to assembling a giant lasagna. *The Chef Show *is like a food-series-meets-buddy-comedy. *—D.W.*

Following one chef per episode, EW's writer called this globe-spanning series the "gold standard" of cooking shows, "presenting gorgeous dishes and ingredients with sumptuous cinematography that makes every culinary creation look like a beautiful work of art."

*Chef's Table* has spawned many spinoffs as well, from barbecue to French cuisine. In other words, this Netflix original series makes for perfect dinner-time viewing, whether you're eating cold pizza or a four-course meal. *—D.W.*

Culinary Class Wars (2024–present)

This competition cooking show pits veteran chefs (White Spoons) against up-and-comers (Black Spoons), eliminating contestants through culinary challenges until only one is left standing. Fans of *Physical: 100 *will recognize the format — the two shows are basically the same, but *Culinary Class Wars *swaps out the athletic events for feats of cookery.

While technically a reality show, *Culinary Class Wars* lacks the toxic elements that drive most of America’s competitive television — it's more reminiscent of *The Great British Baking Show* in that competitors are impressed by each other’s talent, and happy to root for their opponents. If you can withstand the hunger pangs and food jealousy that accompany every episode, *Culinary Class Wars *is a lovely reality option. *—Ilana Gordon*

Impressively bearded, irrepressibly charming, and absolutely willing to take giant bites of uber-crunchy food on camera, Daym Drops is the host with the most enthusiasm. This YouTuber turned Netflix food fanatic travels the U.S. in pursuit of the best in fried fare, sampling heart-stopping delicacies like fried mac 'n cheese, fried Oreos, and something called a "Whale Burger" (which we're not sure we even want to know about).

Drops isn't just super funny, he's fearless, too. Watching him bravely bite into a deep-fried "Rocky Mountain oyster" (if you know, you know) in the Denver episode is truly squirm-inducing fun. *—D.W.*

Judge Paul Hollywood and his coveted handshake will be joined by Nigella Lawson for the next season, as the author and food critic takes over for Dame Prue Leith. *—D.W.*

Famed host/writer/nerd Alton Brown again takes the reins alongside *Top Chef* champ Kristen Kish and actor/martial artist Mark Dacascos (returning as "the Chairman") for play-by-plays, oohing and aahing as celebrity chefs face off against, uh, regular ones.

And, yes, this batch of Iron Chefs is on fire: Gabriela Cámara, Curtis Stone, and Dominique Crenn bring stellar credentials from around the globe alongside legendary restaurateur and best-selling author Marcus Samuelsson and one of the OG PBS chefs, Ming Tsai. Yet another successful meme-to-series transformation (see: *Nailed It!*), *Is It Cake? *scratches our itch for fun while serving up major eye candy…make that *eye cake* (which admittedly doesn't roll off the tongue as well). Edible optical illusions taken to the nth degree, this show is an invitation to marvel at an elite force of skilled bakers pulling off the impossible: Disguising dessert as a roll of toilet paper? A shoe? A cash register with money sticking out of it? Yup, and it's all made out of cake! This is the kind of show you have to see to believe (again, the* cash register*, guys), and when you do see it, you won't be able to look away. *—D.W.*

Divided into four "seasons" (series?) with just two or three episodes in each installment, this is an incredibly mouth-watering cooking show that we have trouble watching on an empty stomach. Each "season" focuses on a different Korean delicacy (*A Nation of Kimchi*, *A Nation of Banchan*, *A Nation of Broth*, and *A Nation of Tteok*), allocating time to fully explore each.

And even though kimchi alone — with its rich history, array of techniques, and variations — is worthy of an epic four-hour feature film, these two sub-60-minute episodes will have to do. *K Food Show* is a beautiful travelogue of a fascinating country with some seriously incredible food, and watching it is like taking a dream vacation without ever leaving home. *—D.W.*

Part comedy, part baking show, and 100 percent unbridled silliness, *Nailed It!* was the first show to spring from a popular Pinterest meme: In this case, home bakers posting snaps of their *extremely* messed-up creations alongside their inspirations, summing up the ridiculousness of the entire Martha Stewart era in one neat moment. Not to get philosophical, but in these broken and crumbling creations, do we perhaps see…ourselves? Setting impossibly high standards, trying our best, and failing publicly?

Observing DIYers attempt ridiculously complex challenges and with lackluster results isn't just funny, it's also inspiring. (We raise our flour-dusted fists in solidarity.) Enter comedian (and non-baker) Nicole Byer (and her pal, real-life pastry genius Jacques Torres), bringing the necessary warmth needed to set the right tone. *—D.W.*

French pastry chef and chocolatier Amaury Guichon works with chocolate the way other artists work with clay, and his videos of stunning pieces that taste as good as they look have taken the internet by storm.

Here, Guichon challenges a class of eight students to think differently about chocolate as an artistic medium. *School of Chocolate *isn’t your traditional competition show in that it eschews eliminations, but there is a hefty prize at the end: the title of “Best in Class” and a sum of $50,000. *—I.G.*

Direct US-Iran talks remained uncertain as Iran’s top diplomat arrived in Pakistan ahead of a planned visit by Donald Trump’s envoys, while the eight-week war kept rattling global markets and energy supplies.

Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Islamabad on Friday, convening a meeting with Pakistani army chief Asim Munir and interior minister Mohsin Naqvi as part of a diplomatic tour to discuss the ongoing hostilities.

But he is not there for direct talks with the US as the White House confirmed that son-in-law Jared Kushner and special envoy Steve Witkoff would be leaving for Islamabad because the Iranians wanted to talk "in person".

Mr Araghchi will meet only with Pakistan’s officials to convey Iran’s “observations” as part of a wider regional trip, foreign ministry spokesman Esmail Baqaei said.

“No meeting is planned to take place between Iran and the US,” he said.

Still, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said the US is “hopeful that it will be a productive conversation”, which will move the ball forward to a deal.

She later told reporters that the US had “certainly seen some progress from the Iranian side in the past couple of days,” though she declined to provide further details.

Vice president JD Vance, who was the lead US negotiator in the first round of talks, would not be travelling to Pakistan for the time being but will remain on “standby” in case of a breakthrough.

“The president, the vice-president, the secretary of state, will be waiting here in the United States for updates,” said Ms Leavitt, adding that Mr Vance would “be willing to dispatch to Pakistan if we feel it’s a necessary use of his time”.

Defence secretary Pete Hegseth told reporters that Iran had a chance to make a "good deal" with the United States.

"Iran knows that they still have an open window to choose wisely," he said. "All they have to do is abandon a nuclear weapon in meaningful and verifiable ways."

After the first round of marathon talks on 12 April failed, the second round of negotiations was highly anticipated on Tuesday, but never happened with Tehran refusing to confirm travel to Islamabad till the last minute, saying it was not yet ready to commit to attending and a US delegation led by Mr Vance, which was expected to leave, never left Washington.

The uncertainty surrounding the talks has effectively kept Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, under lockdown as authorities prepared for high-profile arrivals, guarding roads and sensitive points amid security concerns.

The Islamabad meetings come amid a sharp escalation in US pressure on Iran, with a sustained naval blockade aimed at forcing Tehran back to the negotiating table and bringing an end to a war that has already killed more than 5,000 people, most of them in Iran.

Tehran has said it will not resume talks unless Washington lifts its blockade of Iranian ports, while the US is demanding verifiable guarantees that Iran will abandon its nuclear programme and ease its own blockade of the strait.

The conflict, which entered its ninth week, has roiled the energy market with prices pushed to multi-year highs, stoking inflation and darkening global growth prospects.

Mr Trump told Reuters on Friday that Iran planned to make an offer ‌aimed at satisfying US demands but that he did not know what the offer entailed.

He declined to say who Washington was negotiating with, "but we're dealing with the people that are in charge now".

Mr Trump unilaterally extended a two-week ceasefire on Tuesday to allow more time to reconvene the negotiators.

The Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson, Mr Baghaei, speaking on Iranian TV, has stressed that the main subject in the negotiations is no longer the nuclear issue. Instead, it is “ending the war in a way that secures the country’s interests”.

“We accept the ceasefire only if it is the first step to bringing the war to an end on all fronts. With respect to the country’s demands, issues such as compensation, the strait of Hormuz, lifting sanctions – all these issues are critical to the country’s future.”

He said guarantees of non-aggression were needed not only from the US but also from Israel, which has not been part of the talks.

Mr Baghaei said Tehran believed the lifting of the US blockade had been part of the original ceasefire agreement. “If you fail to meet even your basic commitments under the ceasefire, how can you be trusted to implement a comprehensive settlement?” he asked.

The Iranian foreign minister is also set to visit Oman and Russia during the tour.

The actor shared that some fans, who are "so obsessed" with the show, will be disappointed when they meet him and find out he's "not a real cowboy"

"If I was a real cowboy, I'd be, like, herding cattle right now. I wouldn't be on this show," Grimes said

Some Yellowstone fans are still grappling with the reality of Luke Grimes' true profession.

The actor, 42, has played cowboy Kayce Dutton since the original series premiered in 2018, and he is now exploring a new chapter of the character's life in the CBS spinoff, Marshals. But no matter how many years he spends playing the character, fans continue to be perplexed by him off camera.

When asked about the "strangest" things Yellowstone fans tell him, Grimes said it "can be a mix of things" but that some "loved that show so much that they were, on a certain level, upset that it wasn't real."

"Like, they were so obsessed," he told Toronto radio station CHUM 104.5. "A lot of times you'll get the, 'You're not a real cowboy.'"

"Well, of course I'm not, I'm an actor," Grimes continued. "That's why I'm able to do this. If I was a real cowboy, I'd be, like, herding cattle right now. I wouldn't be on this show."

His fans aren't alone in that confusion. Grimes told PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere of Marshals that his son, whom he shares with wife Bianca Rodrigues Grimes, had an interesting reaction to his character.

“My son thinks my cowboy hat is really funny,” he shared of the 1-year-old. "He doesn’t understand why I have that big thing on my head."

The baby "loves it," though, Grimes said. "He’s very excited when he got to come to [set].”

His years on Yellowstone inspired him and his wife to relocate from L.A. to Montana, though that's another choice that not everyone is in agreement with. He said on the Joe Rogan Experience that Montana residents are "not happy" about how many people were inspired by Yellowstone and moved to the state.

"The valley that I live in, we had some people come visit us," he said. "Our friends from California drove out, and we went on a hike, and we were in their car. And they had, you know, Cali plates. We get off the hike, and someone had written 'go back' in the dust on their car."

"People are super weird about it," he said of relocating. "So I don't tell anyone exactly where I'm at because they would get really mad at me."

It's gotten to the point that Grimes avoids being out much at all in Montana. “I can’t go to bars there anymore ‘cause whatever that one idiot is, is at the bar, and he can’t wait to start a fight with me," he said on the podcast. "Just, like, can’t wait to do it because it’s like a win-win for him, you know? He gets to sue me or something. I don’t know, but it’s a lose-lose for me.”

He's not too bothered by that, though. “I have no FOMO about anything anymore,” he said. “I can just think and sleep and read and watch films and it’s the best.”

New episodes of Marshals air Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, and Yellowstone is streaming on Paramount+.

The iconic fashion of Euphoria is back with a bang.

The HBO drama's third season premiered on April 12 and has dropped two episodes so far, with the next shaping up to be one of the most dramatic yet. Airing on Sunday, April 26, episode 3 will center on the wedding of Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi).On Thursday, April 23, official photos from the episode were released and promptly caused a stir among fans online, mostly due to the, frankly, insane outfits that guests have chosen to wear.

I certainly expected nothing less from one of the most chaotic shows on television, but even I was shocked by Rue's choice of footwear and Maddy's jaw-dropping revenge dress. Ahead, I've ranked the wedding outfits in order of how fast they would spark another tearful bathroom breakdown from Cassie.

Maddy's Skin-Bearing Ensemble

Attending the wedding of your former best friend and the ex-boyfriend who left you for her is a risky move, but leave it to Maddy (Alexa Demie) to lean into the chaos. No part of me is surprised that she shows up to the ceremony in a revealing green gown and matching boa — and no part of me will be surprised when Cassie is inevitably up in arms about how fabulous she looks.

Dresses aren't exactly Rue's style, so it's likely that no one expects her to wear one, but the converse Zendaya sports here might put Cassie over the edge. I can practically hear the bride shrieking through tears, "Couldn't you at least have worn a kitten heel?!"

Leave it to Jules (Hunter Schafer) to totally reinvent wedding guest dress codes. She walks to the beat of her own drum, and I applaud her for that, but if you have to wax your bikini line to wear a dress, it's probably a pretty risky choice for the nuptials of your high school friends.

Lexi (Maude Apatow) is, of course, part of her sister Cassie's bridal party. It seems unlikely that the pink and bow-adorned dress that Cassie surely hand-picked for them will cause any kind of stir, especially since it appears that Lexi hasn't taken any liberties with tailoring.

I'd hope that Cassie's own dress wouldn't cause drama at her wedding, but with these characters, you truly never know. Surely she's telling everyone that'll listen that she's never, ever been happier, but I can't help but notice the pained expression on her face in this snap. Maybe she's second-guessing her decision to marry Nate, or maybe her corset is just too tight. We'll just have to wait to find out.
