Aisha "Pinky" Cole, the founder of the Atlanta restaurant chain Slutty Vegan, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Georgia.

The Feb. 12 filing, reviewed by USA TODAY, shows that Cole owes $1.2 million to the Small Business Administration for a COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan. She also owes $192,000 in state taxes, the records show.

Cole started the fast-food company with a sex-themed menu as a meal delivery service in 2018 before converting to a food truck, according to the restaurant's website. The restaurant opened its first brick-and-mortar location in 2019. It grew to 14 locations before closing several, according to Atlanta television station WSB-TV. It currently has six locations.

Cole made the "Time100 Next" list for starting the restaurant in 2023.

The restaurant faced multiple lawsuits in 2023 for unpaid wages, Essence reported, as well as a case filed in August for unpaid rent at Atlanta locations, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.

Atlanta News First reported that the restaurant entered a state level bankruptcy alternative called Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors in 2025. The program allows companies to transfer assets to a third-party administrator who then sells them to pay off creditors. The action caused Cole to temporarily lose ownership of the restaurant, according to the television station.

"I fought it for a long time, to be honest, and I didn't want to do it. I didn't want to face the public scrutiny," Cole said in an interview with People magazine. "I could have easily gone to social media and did a rally cry for help, but I didn't want to be a victim."

Warning: The following contains major spoilers for Season 50, Episode 2 of "Survivor."

No winners are safe in "Survivor 50."

After last week's historic three-hour premiere, viewers were blindsided in a vote that left fans in suspense. The episode showed Kamilla Karthigesu's emotional reaction after learning that her Season 48 friend and ally, Kyle Fraser, was removed from the game due to his injury.

The three tribes competed in a swimming obstacle-course reward challenge, which Cila and Kalo won, and later an immunity challenge on land, which Kalo and Vatu won.

Cila remains the only tribe to attend tribal council so far and was forced to eliminate one of their own after a unanimous vote against Season 1 returnee Jenna Lewis-Dougherty.

Ahead of the vote, Joe Hunter and Rick Devins argued about miscommunication and budded heads over opposing gameplays. However, Ozzy Lusth was still considered an easy vote out, given his threat level and his unwavering loyalty to Cirie Fields.

Here's who went home and why.

Who was voted off 'Survivor' Season 50?

Season 49 winner Savannah Louie was the second person to be voted off "Survivor 50" in a 6-1 vote. She's the second winner to exit following Season 48 champion Kyler Fraser's medical evacuation due to a fully torn Achilles.

The Cila tribe decided to vote out the former TV journalist after she returned to camp after the journey in the premiere episode. Her tribemates correctly assumed she was lying about returning empty-handed, as she actually had a block vote advantage.

Her exit makes "Survivor 45" returnee Dee Valladares the only remaining winner in the cast, now down to 21 players.

Ahead of the premiere, Louie said she was asked to play again just hours before the Season 49 cast boarded the plane returning to the US after she had won $1 million.

"I grew up watching the show," she told USA TODAY after the Season 49 finale in December. "And you didn't know at that time who all was going to be on 50, but you hear rumblings and rumors about people who are possibly going to be on the season. To even be in the same sentence or let alone the same beach as some of these icons, it's crazy and mind-blowing and just so freaking cool."

Who has an advantage on 'Survivor 50'?

Christian Hubicki of the Cila tribe found the new Billie Eilish boomeraang idol and gifted it to Aubry Bracco of the Vatu tribe. Aubry can only play the idol for herself, but if she is voted out with it, the idol returns to Christian.

Ozzy Lusth of the Cila tribe has a Billie Eilish boomeraang idol, which was gifted to him by Genevieve Mushaluk of Vatu, who will possess it again if Ozzy is voted out.

In a "Survivor" first, Cirie Fields has her own advantage after Ozzy gave her his extra vote advantage.

Romantasy fans have waited five years with little word on the next installment of Sarah J. Maas' A Court of Thorns and Roses series. That changes today.

Maas announced on the Wednesday, March 4 episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast that two books from the ACOTAR series are coming out within the upcoming year.

The first of the two will release on Oct. 27 and the next on Jan. 12, Maas confirmed, telling host Alex Cooper that a "really, really, really big" story was finally ready to come out of her.

"It's meant to be read ideally as one massive, massive story as opposed to like in a trilogy," she told Cooper. "It's not a trilogy. Arcs aren't wrapped up. It's like in the way you take my book, it's like if you expand it all of part one, all of part two, all parts, it would be huge like that. And so I just decided, I've never told a story that way. This is how it wants to come out."

Sarah J. Maas explains why the book took so long

The "Throne of Glass" author discussed the tricky experience of writing another ACOTAR book after all this time. She explained that she was hesitant to force herself to write one because "that doesn't make a good book."

"If I feel like I have writer's block, I'm like, 'Get your ass in the chair and work,' but this was different. This was different," Maas said. "I needed to get something sorted out first, and so this came out, like when this right story hit me, it hit me hard and I had a vision from the start of what it would be, how I would deliver it to you guys."

She said she embraced the freedom of being in the driver's seat, telling stories only when the timing is right, free from the narrative boxes authors often feel trapped in.

Sarah J Maas in a "Call Her Daddy" episode that released on March 4, 2026.Is it a six or an arrow? Sarah J. Maas explains cryptic post

Earlier in the day, USA TODAY teased an exclusive clip from the episode, in which Cooper promised to grill the author on her cryptic Instagram post from July, in which she shared that her first draft of the book was done. Maas joked that she has poor handwriting and clarified that the cryptic post was of "ACOTAR Six with the arrow pointing forward to indicate things going ahead of that."

"It's been a long time coming. It's something that I, it took me a long time to write, just because there were enough things going on in my life that I had to sort through," she said. "It took me a while to find the right story and to be in the right head space. And then what poured out of me was this, and it poured out very quickly."

Maas declined to reveal the title of the book yet or tease a cover of her next project.

Sarah J. Maas is Alex Cooper's next guest on Call Her Daddy.

Maas' series, which was first published in 2015, contains five books: "A Court of Thorns and Roses," "A Court of Mist and Fury," "A Court of Wings and Ruin," "A Court of Frost and Starlight" and "A Court of Silver Flames."

Fans are already placing bets about which character ACOTAR 6 it'll follow. Will it be Elain? Mor? Lucien? Nesta?

Sarah J Maas addresses possible ACOTAR TV series

Cooper asked Maas whether she was interested in a television adaptation of the ACOTAR book series, to which she expressed concerns about having to compromise on her creative vision. While she confirmed she now owns the rights to all her work, she said she won't adapt her work for the screen until she has a guarantee that there won't be any restrictions.

"I'm a type A control freak a little bit, but I want to know everything about how it gets made, not because of that control, but just because I love movies. I love TV. I want to be a part of that and I want to see everything adapted the way I envision it and the way I know fans want it," Maas said.

Maas also said she would struggle to cast Rhysand from the ACOTAR series, as she hasn't yet found an actor who could do the character justice.

Days after news broke of "Deadliest Catch" star Todd Meadows' death, his bunkmate on the Discovery show is speaking out.

Trey John Green III, who says he slept next to Meadows on the Aleutian Lady, a crab fishing boat at the center of the series, told Us Weekly that his death was a "tragedy," and revealed that it was caught on film.

"Todd was an amazing human," Green told the outlet, adding that Meadows, 25, had fallen overboard. "Unfortunately, [it] ended in tragedy," he said, adding that the crew "did everything we could to save him."

Neil Sedaka, the legendary singer-songwriter behind tracks like "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do" and "Oh! Carol," has died at 86, his representative Victoria Varela confirmed on Feb. 27.

"Our family is devastated by the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Neil Sedaka," the family said in a statement to USA TODAY.The Brooklyn, New York, native grew up to become a beloved pop and rock musician with over 700 songwriting credits, including long-lasting, recognizable hits, such as "Laughter in the Rain" and "Calendar Girl."

Todd Meadows, 'Deadliest Catch' star, dies at sea

Green went on to say that it's "no easy task" to save a life, and confirmed that his boatmate had died "at sea."

"Discovery is done filming, but there was a producer and a deck cam guy on the boat for the past two months filming for season 22 of the show," he added. "It was filmed, unfortunately … There is a deck cam as well that records 24-7, everything, and it caught everything from the incident as well."

USA TODAY has reached out to Discovery for comment.

Meadows, a deckhand on the thrill-chasing show, which follows crab fishermen off the coast of Alaska as they navigate life-threatening conditions during expeditions in the Bering Sea, died Feb. 25. While Meadows' official cause of death has not been revealed, Green and other castmembers confirmed that he died on the Bering Sea, the treacherous strait of water that separates Alaska and Russia. A GoFundMe to raise support for his three sons has since been launched and has raised over $37,000.

A representative for Warner Bros Discovery, which airs "Deadliest Catch," said in a statement after Meadows' death: "We are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Todd Meadows. This is a devastating loss, and our hearts are with his loved ones, his crewmates, and the entire fishing community during this incredibly difficult time."

Rick Shelford, the captain of the Aleutian Lady, also mourned Meadown in a lengthy post on social media, writing, "We lost our brother."

"Todd was the newest member of our crew, he quickly became family. His love for fishing and his strong work ethic earned everyone's respect right away," Shelford wrote on Facebook. "His smile was contagious, and the sound of his laughter coming up the wheelhouse stairs or over the deck hailer is something we will carry with us always."

Bruce Johnston is hanging up his hat after performing with the Beach Boys for six decades.

The 83-year-old, who took cofounder Brian Wilson's place in the band's live performances starting in 1965, told Rolling Stone in a March 4 statement that he's stepping away to get "serious" about songwriting, but is leaving the door open for performing with the group in the future.

"It's time for Part Three of my lengthy musical career!" Johnston said. "I can write songs forever, and wait until you hear what's coming!!! As my major talent beyond singing is songwriting, now is the time to get serious again."

Along with writing, Johnston also plans to do more speaking engagements, which would see him leaning on occasional touring member John Stamos for "help designing what I speak about."

Al Jardine, David Marks, Frank Marshall, Brian Wilson, Blondie Chaplin, Mike Love and Bruce Johnston attend the world premiere of the Disney+ documentary "The Beach Boys" at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California, on May 21, 2024.

"I might even sing 'Disney Girls' & 'I Write The Songs!!'" he wrote. Johnston added, "I am excited to join the Beach Boys for performances on special occasions and will see everyone at The Hollywood Bowl as we celebrate our Nation's 250th Birthday!!"

The band is celebrating the 60th anniversary of "Pet Sounds," as well as the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, in its 2026 tour, which stops at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl on July 2-4.

'This isn't goodbye, it's see you soon,' says Beach Boys' Bruce Johnston

"This isn't goodbye, it's see you soon," Johnston wrote. "I am forever grateful to be a part of the Beach Boys musical legacy."

With Johnston's departure, Mike Love is now the only original member still touring with the California-born band. Brian Wilson died June 11, 2025, while drummer Dennis, the only surfer, despite the group's association with Southern California surfing culture, died after drowning in 1983.

Youngest sibling Carl passed in 1998 after battling lung cancer, and Al Jardine stopped touring with the band that same year, opting to pave his own path. He has been performing tributes to Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys with the Pet Sounds Band.

Mike Love promises Bruce Johnston's departure is 'not an end'

Love weighed in on Johnston's exit in his own statement to Rolling Stone.

"Bruce Johnson is one of the greatest songwriters, vocalist, and keyboardist of our time. We've had the honor of his performance and participation for many many years with the Beach Boys," he said. "Change is always promised in life, today we find ourselves in a chapter of change, but not an end. Bruce shifts his focus on what he does so well which is songwriting and recording."

"In the very near future," he added, he will be back in the studio with Johnston for a collaboration.

Carl Wilson, Bruce Johnston, Dennis Wilson, Al Jardine and Mike Love are pictured on Nov. 28, 1968.

"I am very supportive of Bruce and I have every confidence that he will produce great music," he continued. "I am delighted that Bruce will join the band on special occasions and when his schedule permits including The Hollywood Bowl performances celebrating the 250th Birthday of our great nation. I love & respect Bruce Johnston."

Chris Cron, frontman of the Beach Boys tribute act Pet Sounds Live, will replace Johnston on tour.

Bruce Johnston thought he would be 'a Beach Boy for the weekend'

Johnston opened up about his start with the band in their official 2024 autobiography "The Beach Boys."

After filling in with the band for a couple of shows in 1965, Johnston thought he would be "a Beach Boy for the weekend" who borrowed his white pants and striped shirt from Jardine. But the band was immediately impressed with the 22-year-old producer and keyboardist (who would also go on to write Barry Manilow's "I Write the Songs" during a break from the group in the '70s) and after returning to his L.A. home, Johnston received a call from Carl Wilson asking him to continue to tour with the band.

Johnston's falsetto – and his ability to learn bass, which The Beach Boys needed at the time – was another key addition to the band, as Love noted in the book that Johnston was the only member who could hit the high notes at the end of "Fun Fun Fun."

Aryna Sabalenka's engagement ring deserves its own trophy.

The renowned tennis player, 27, said "Yes" to her fiancé, Georgios Frangulis, after he popped the question with a surprise proposal on March 3. A day later, the pair announced their exciting news on Instagram with photos of her brand-new sparkler, which has enough diamonds to speak for itself.

According to Daily Mail, Frangulis, the founder of Oakberry, proposed with a ring by jewelry designer Isabela Grutman, the CEO and founder of her eponymous jewelry line.

The two worked together for months to create something that was one-of-a-kind and as equally jaw-dropping as Sabalenka's reputation on the court. Per the outlet, the ring boasts a 12-plus carat oval-cut diamond surrounded by emerald stones. All are set on platinum.

Emeralds are an especially significant part of the ring since it's Sabalenka's "favorite stone." Grutman said the details were Frangulis' idea, "a personal touch that makes the ring uniquely hers."

Sabalenka and Frangulis were first spotted together in April 2024, a month after the tragic and untimely death of Sabalenka's ex-boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov, who died by suicide.

More recently, she has been dropping hints about taking their relationship to the next level. This past August, the athlete responded to a couple getting engaged during a match she played at the US Open, saying, "I looked at my boyfriend. No pressure!"

Frangulis definitely made waiting for the right moment count. Photos of the engagement shared to Instagram show the romantic poolside atmosphere lit by dozens of candles and floral arrangements. "I can finally call him something else… FIANCÉ," they wrote in a joint post.

This massive sparkler comes on the heels of a very shiny year of engagements and statement-making bling. Soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo hit it out of the park with an estimated $5 million ring for his fiancée, Georgina Rodríguez, while Travis Kelce broke the internet with the old mine brilliant cut diamond made by Kindred Lubeck for Taylor Swift.

Speaking on why he believes he ultimately blew up, Olsen said that being able to "surrender" and understand that certain things on the internet can often be blown out of proportion.Responding, Laing agreed with Olsen's sentiments, suggesting that he thought Olsen's theater background might have been a factor in shaping how Olsen conducts himself online."I do think that's why a lot of theater kids become successful later in life," Olsen said. "We're used to embarrassing ourselves. Embarrassing yourself and being a little bit cringe is the way to try anything.""I think in my social media career, I was already at a point where I wasn't scared to embarrass myself or be cringe," he added.

Olsen then went on to theorize as to why he thinks that some people take issue with his content and have such strong feelings about him online, citing his willingness to do anything as something others might feel threatened by.Societal expectations, which Olsen believes he often defies, are the culprit in fueling people's vitriol toward him. However, he doesn't necessarily believe that people are jealous of him when they have something mean to say."It's not necessarily that the primary emotion is jealousy," he continued. "I think sometimes the primary emotion is like anger towards the both of us because... they see what I'm doing and they believe they could do it better.""And my retort to that is then please do," he then said. "I truly encourage you to follow it. I want everyone to succeed because there is enough space for all of us."Olsen first gained prominence online in 2020, posting about his life in quarantine with then-boyfriend Ian Paget.Olsen has garnered the attention of the internet through his viral series delivering coffees to A-listers, as well as when he spoke out about being targeted by intimate image abuse (sometimes referred to as "revenge porn") and had a "public breakdown" in 2024 that prompted him to reconsider his relationship to the internet.
