Wendy Osefo and her husband Eddie Osefo were arrested and booked at a Maryland jail on fraud charges in October 2025

She addressed the legal drama at part 1 of The Real Housewives of Potomac season 10 reunion, which aired on Sunday, Feb. 15

In the episode, the couple revealed details of the day they were taken into custody and how their kids found out

Wendy Osefo is opening up about her and husband Eddie Osefo's legal troubles.

The Real Housewives of Potomac season 10 reunion part 1 began with footage captured a week after Wendy and Eddie were arrested on fraud charges in October 2025. During the emotional scene filmed at home, the couple reflected on the day police arrived at their house and took them into custody.

"I feel like I'm in a constant nightmare — the house doesn't even feel the same," Wendy said. "Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would lead to us being taken away handcuffs. It's so crazy and it feels like a bad dream."

She started to cry when Eddie recalled hearing their youngest daughter on the line, while Wendy spoke to her sister about taking care of their three kids, Karter, 12, Kruz, 10, and Kamrynn Kapri, 6, the night they were in jail.

"She's so innocent, she had no idea what's going on," Wendy said. "She was just so happy you're gonna spend the night with auntie. She was just like, 'Okay, mommy, I'll see you tomorrow.' And I didn't know if I was gonna see her tomorrow. I was so scared. I was just worried about the kids. I was so scared for them. This is real tough."

She then asked Eddie: "Do you think this is gonna affect our marriage?"

"It has impact," he replied. "I think it's gonna impact us."

Wendy agreed, admitting, "I just know after this incident, I'm not the same person, and I hope that I'll be okay with you, because I'm not the same. I don't think I'll ever be the same."

She later joined the cast on stage, as host Andy Cohen asked her how she and her family have been navigating the situation. After noting that "the investigation is still ongoing," she shared how her children are doing.

"It varies, because you have someone like Kam, who is not aware of what's going on. Then you have Karter, who was actually aware when everything happened," she said. "We tried to shield him. Immediately it happened, I called my mom and my sister to pick up the kids, because the kids weren't home when this happened, so thank God they didn't see anything. I was taking a nap, and I wake up to Eddie saying, 'Baby, the police are here.'"

"Karter knew something was up, because the fact that they're randomly spending the night with my mom and my sister, Karter was just like, something is going on," she continued. "And he opened his phone and he actually saw everything."

Wendy added that her eldest didn't tell anyone that he knew about the arrests until the next day, when she and Eddie picked him up from school after being released from jail.

"We were pretending like everything was fine, and he was in the back of the car, and I was like, 'Baby, what's wrong?'" she said. "And he said, 'Where were you?' And I just looked in his eyes, and I've always promised my kids, I'll never lie to you, and then he just started crying. I just held him, and we just cried together in the backseat of Eddie's car, just hugging each other."

Since that moment, Wendy said that she and Eddie are honest with Karter about the situation, and tell him when they have to go to court so he isn't surprised by anything online.

"I never want him to be blindsided like that again," she noted.

She also addressed her mugshot photo, which drew criticism because she appeared to be laughing while it was taken.

"The guy who was taking my picture, he was really nice," Wendy said. "He was like, 'Give me another look, give me another.' He was playing around with me because he knew it was heavy. I was crying in there. I was sad. So he was just trying to cheer me up."

When Cohen asked if she regretted smiling, she stated: "I don't regret smiling, because at the end of the day, I think we've all been through things, and you try to smile through the pain, no matter how heavy it is."

She further clarified that neither she nor her husband took any marijuana edibles from their brand, Happy Eddie, despite internet speculation. She said Eddie did look "far gone" because he had been asleep in his holding cell before taking the photo.

The couple ended up spending the night in jail, which Wendy described as "scary." She said she is "absolutely terrified" of what's to come. "But my faith is what's carrying me."

On Oct. 10, 2025, Wendy and Eddie were taken into custody in Maryland as the Westminster Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE that the pair were facing 16 charges, seven of which were felonies related to alleged "false/misleading info fraud" in excess of $300.

Police alleged that the couple claimed designer bags and jewelry were missing from their bedroom during a reported burglary while they were in Jamaica in April 2024. Wendy was allegedly seen wearing one of the diamond rings on social media. An investigation determined that other items they said were stolen were purchased and returned to their respective stores and a "full refund was provided prior to the alleged burglary."

One day after the arrest, a spokesperson for the couple confirmed they were "back home safely with their family and in good spirits."

"They are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans, and colleagues," the representative wrote, adding that they "look forward to their day in court."

Days later, Wendy resigned from her role as a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Wesleyan University. At the time, her rep clarified that she was not fired, and instead "formally submitted her letter of resignation prior to any public announcement made by the university."

Wendy broke her silence for the first time after her arrest in an Instagram post on Oct. 19. She shared a photo of herself posing in a black-and-white gown with the caption: "And through it all, GOD remains faithful."

"Thank you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers for myself and most importantly my family during this time. We are forever grateful🙏🏾," she added.

The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Former President Barack Obama is clarifying his stance on aliens.

On Friday, February 13, Obama appeared to confirm the existence of aliens during a podcast conversation with Brian Tyler Cohen.

"They're real, but I haven't seen them," Obama said. "They're not being kept at Area 51. There's no underground facility — unless there's this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States."

Obama, who was in office from 2009 to 2017, noted that the "first question he wanted answered" when he became president was: "Where are the aliens?"

After the former president's comments went viral online, he took to Instagram on Sunday, Feb. 15 to set the record straight.

"I was trying to stick with the spirit of the speed round, but since it's gotten attention let me clarify," Obama captioned his post, which featured a video of the viral remarks. "Statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds are good there's life out there. But the distances between solar systems are so great that the chances we've been visited by aliens is low, and I saw no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us. Really!"

This isn't the first time Obama has said he believes aliens may exist, either. During a 2021 appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, he made similar comments about wanting to know about the truth about aliens when he first assumed the presidency.

"The truth is, that when I came into office, I asked, 'Is there a lab somewhere where we're keeping the alien specimens and spaceship?'" he said at the time.

North West is only 12. But a new report claims she is already taking steps toward launching a career through her own fashion brand. Her mom, Kim Kardashian, is leading the business side. Besides, Kardashian has reportedly filed trademark paperwork for a new name linked to North. Together, the steps signal plans for a clothing and jewelry venture, putting the preteen on her own career path.

Kim Kardashian's daughter North West reportedly launching her own fashion brand

The Sun exclusively reported that North West is prepared to launch her career with a fashion brand. It's called "NOR11," and Kim Kardashian is right by her side. Notably, the name appears to combine the start of her first name with "11," which The Sun suggested could point to her age when the business idea started to brew in the Kardashian household.

Moreover, the report noted that Kardashian has filed three separate trademark applications for "NOR11." They cover a wide range of items, including clothing and accessories like dresses, shoes, hats, and stockings, while also listing jewelry and watches, such as bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and rings. A third category includes bags and small items, such as handbags, wallets, and cosmetic cases.

Additionally, the report claimed that the filings were submitted through a company called KimYe's Kid Inc. It was incorporated in California in August 2023. While the name suggests both Kardashian and Kanye West, The U.S. Sun highlighted that California records list Kardashian as the only officer, drawing scrutiny over how involved North's father is, if at all, in this project.

Fans might have already seen it coming. The report pointed to North's Instagram posts from December that showed her and friends wearing black fur hats featuring the "NOR11" logo.

As of now, the trademarks related to North West's career suggest that Kim Kardashian plans to move ahead with the fashion and jewelry brand. And the report paints a picture of a venture that could be a turning point for the 12-year-old.

Another day, another AI video prompting pessimism about Hollywood's future.

Oscar-nominated Irish filmmaker Ruairí Robinson shared an AI-generated video on social media Tuesday, featuring the likenesses of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt having an elaborate fistfight on a Los Angeles overpass.

"This was a 2 line prompt in seedance 2," Robinson wrote in the caption of the 15-second clip, which has garnered more than 1.4 million views to date.

Seedance 2.0 is a new AI service by ByteDance, the Chinese company that also owns TikTok.

Robinson also posted a follow-up video featuring AI versions of the *Interview With the Vampire* costars fighting in a similar location, this time with dialogue.

"You killed Jeffrey Epstein, you animal," the fake Pitt says in a voice that sounds strikingly similar to the real *Moneyball* star. "He was a good man."

"He knew too much about our Russia operations," AI-generated Cruise responds in a similarly realistic voice. "He had to die, and now you die too."

That clip has amassed more than 3 million views to date.

** has reached out to representatives for Cruise and Pitt for comment.

SAG-AFTRA, the union representing around 170,000 actors and entertainers worldwide, shared a statement with EW condemning ByteDance and accusing the company of widespread copyright infringement.

"SAG-AFTRA stands with the studios in condemning the blatant infringement enabled by Bytedance's new AI video model Seedance 2.0," the organization said. "The infringement includes the unauthorized use of our members' voices and likenesses. This is unacceptable and undercuts the ability of human talent to earn a livelihood. Seedance 2.0 disregards law, ethics, industry standards and basic principles of consent. Responsible AI development demands responsibility, and that is nonexistent here."

Reese later clarified his reaction to the video in another post. "I am not at all excited about AI encroaching into creative endeavors," he wrote. "To the contrary, I'm terrified. So many people I love are facing the loss of careers they love. I myself am at risk. When I wrote 'It's over,' I didn't mean it to sound cavalier or flippant."

The screenwriter added that he was "blown away" by the video of the two AI actors fighting "because it is so professional" and realistic. "That's exactly why I'm scared," he said. "My glass half empty view is that Hollywood is about to be revolutionized/decimated. If you truly think the Pitt v Cruise video is unimpressive slop, you've got nothing to worry about. But I'm shook."**

Spencer Pratt's quest to positively impact Los Angeles was lost on his sister's ears.

Stephanie Pratt voiced her concerns about her brother's mayoral campaign and claimed his intentions aren't so pure.

In a series of posts shared on X, Stephanie noted that Spencer was a vital asset to the community more than one year after the devastating LA wildfires. However, she assured her followers that "The Hills" star was simply trying to stay relevant.

Pratt and his wife, Heidi Montag, lost their Pacific Palisades home in January 2025 during the deadly LA wildfires. Pratt said his parents also lost their home in the fires.

"Spencer has done great work for the palisades," Stephanie wrote. "But LA does not need another unqualified and inexperienced mayor. A vote for him is a vote for stupidity."

Read On The Fox News App

She continued, "He's just trying to stay famous and sell his memoir don't be fooled."

Stephanie mused over an "ideal world" where the Palisades received their own "mayor and police department," but was more concerned with the current issues plaguing Los Angeles.

Spencer Pratt Vows To Work With Federal Government On Ice Enforcement As La Mayor Candidate

"I'm worried about LA. I have no problem playing government but our city needs help," Stephanie wrote.

Spencer Pratt declared his intent to run for Mayor of Los Angeles on the one year anniversary of the Palisades fire.

"Everyone saying I should support him no matter what. Sorry he beat me up when I was 18 & put me in the hospital. So no he doesn't belong in the government. Run the palisades all you want not LA."

She added, "Leopards never change their spots. Stay in the palisades Spencer."

A vocal opponent to current Mayor Karen Bass, "The Guy You Loved to Hate" author launched his Los Angeles mayoral campaign last month. He told Fox News Digital that while he often finds himself standing alone in public, the support he receives behind closed doors tells a very different story.

"I know actual A-list stars support what I do, because I've been at restaurants, and they sit down at the table, and they quiz me about everything that I know for 20 minutes and thank me," Pratt said. "But these people know if they do that publicly, they risk losing their careers that some of them have been working for 30 years to have."

Pratt said he understands the risks that come with speaking publicly and doesn't fault those who choose to stay quiet.

"So, I don't judge them," he added. "It's just the same with firefighters that don't come forward with the truth because of retaliation. There's no difference between public employees who know what's going on and celebrities. Everyone sees what's happening, but everyone's scared to talk."

The reality star said the release of his memoir and his decision to run for mayor unfolded simultaneously in a way that felt beyond his control.

"The timing of the mayor and the book — that's God's timing because the book actually came together right after the fires over a year ago," he told Fox News Digital. "So, the writing's been happening all year."

As the manuscript took shape, Pratt said he was watching the political landscape closely and growing increasingly frustrated.

"And then when I saw that nobody was stepping up to run against Mayor Karen Bass in the last month or so, I had to do it," he said. "Again, it's God's timing."

"The crushing weight of words," read the seat cards at Catherine Holstein's fall/winter 2026 show for her label Khaite. With a set—designed by her husband Griffin Frazen—featuring scrolling LED text that almost looked like it was tumbling onto the audience, and a voice on the soundtrack reading a litany of words in alphabetical order, the theme was clearly on her mind.

Amid the endless data crawl, the torrents of texts, tweets, and think pieces now available to us at all times, the designer seemed to want to transcend speech altogether. A central conceit of her work has been finding a new visual language to project authority. "Power dressing can mean whatever you want it to mean," she told me for a 2023 ELLE profile, and here, she nodded to several institutional images of it, spanning church and state—from gold cross chains dangling from belts to high-collared suits to military jackets with exaggerated shoulders. The military-dress motif extended to transparent blouses and dresses that were a collision of martial and romantic, while bow ties gave a menswear flair to some of the looks.

Courtesy of Khaite, Hanna Tveite

She further explored the darkness-and-light dichotomy with a black dress that exploded into '80s-style white ruffles (the decade is a frequent reference point for the designer). Kate Moss-worthy slip dresses were interrupted with a passage of lace. And her taste for the unexpected juxtaposition came through in looks like an argyle sweater styled with opera gloves.

At times, the show had a Gothic feel: much like the rocker-vampires from Only Lovers Left Alive, the models seemed to have emerged from their darkened manse wearing all black, sporting big sunglasses and extended chrome claws for nails (though some also had flowers clipped to their lapels, in a nod to the holiday).

Courtesy of Khaite, Hanna Tveite

In that interview, Holstein confided that, unlike many designers, Fashion Week is her favorite time of year, and between the clothes, the set, the soundtrack, and the sparkling cast—including Raquel Zimmermann, Doutzen Kroes, Natasha Poly, Alex Consani, and ELLE cover girl Lulu Tenney—she delivered a spectacle. And though Khaite has already become a cornerstone of New York Fashion Week in a relatively short time, this could have even been an audition for a bigger stage.

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links."

If you had a lie-in on Sunday, your face was the inspiration for Sandy Liang's fall 2026 show. Makeup artist Romy Soleimani created a "sleepy girl" look for the collection, a luxe version of your "I just woke up" face. Liang had shown Soleimani a moodboard including photos of Kirsten Dunst and a princess lounging on a bed with bows—"like she just woke up, but she's a little sleepy," she remembers Liang saying.

Drawing inspiration from Dunst in Sofia Coppola movies like Marie Antoinette, Soleimani created a flush on the apples of the cheeks, using a combination of Rare Beauty's TikTok-famous Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in shades Adore and Lucky, with a light shimmer on top (in Happy, and the shade Truth for darker skin tones). To prevent the look from getting "too dolly," Soleimani added a ring of eyeliner in a soft brown-red color (using Rare's Brow Harmony Precision Eyebrow Pencil and Kind Words Lip Liner in Humble) to resemble a more perfected version of your early-morning fatigue. "It makes her more like a Lower East Side Sandy girl," she said. As a skin care base, models received a mini K-beauty routine, with an application of an essence (Beauty of Joseon Glow Replenishing Rice Milk Lightweight Hydration Toner) and a moisturizer (Revive Firming Moisturizer).

Victor Virgile - Getty Images

Hairstylist Dylan Chavles completed the Antoinette reference with loose curls that she deemed "Napoleonic." "We looked at Marie Antoinette too, but paintings of her—and no beach waves," she emphasized. Hair was swept into a side part and a curling iron was used to do a variation of the classic Marcel technique. The resulting texture was "big and fluffy, like a classic European painting," Chavles explained, adding dry shampoo and sea salt spray from Uberliss. A few lucky models also wore soft headbands across the hairline, which matched the bedroom-clothes-go-outside vibe of the collection, pairing with bunny slipper heels and party dresses that could also be pajamas.

Nail artist Holly Falcone finished the look with a minimal version of a French manicure, using Celisse products to paint a very thin line of white atop a transparent baby pink polish. This season, your clean-girl beauty look is becoming even cleaner—or snoozier.
