Days of Our Lives star Marissa Ryes is opening up about the reason behind her exit from the hit show.
In a post on Instagram, Reyes shared behind-the-scenes videos from her final day on set, writing, "In honor of my final episode of @dayspeacock airing this week, I thought that I'd share some memories from my wrap day! :')"
She also reflected on her time with the show, writing, "It has been an absolute honor to be a part of such a legacy, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for what this opportunity has taught and given me."
Reyes clarified that the decision to leave was entirely her own. "It was my choice—and mine alone—to make my exit from the show," she wrote.
She concluded on an optimistic note: "I will always look back on this chapter with complete and honest gratitude and affection. It's bittersweet to see the end of this chapter, but I am over the moon excited to welcome in the next.Here's to what's coming!!"
As Parade previously reported, Reyes' final episode is scheduled to air March 26, 2026, when Ari shares good news with Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop).

Reyes' co-stars also reacted to the news in the comments section of her post.
