The No. 6 overall draft pick saw his play time and work load decrease dramatically. He played a career low 40 percent of the snaps, but more importantly, the Boise State product had just two carries as he saw rookie fourth-round pick Mike Washington get a whopping 25 carries. Raiders coach Klint Kubiak said the decision had nothing to so with Jeanty's disparaging words about the Jets' defense. We will see if Jeanty gets more work against the 49ers. But this was a major development.
The second-round pick returned from spending four games on the injured reserve with a broken forearm. He played 40 percent of the snaps, but was not targeted as a wide receiver.
The third-round pick injured his groin on the first play from scrimmage. His availability for Sunday's game is unknown.
The third-round pick was benched after he started two games at right guard, in favor of rookie Trey Zuhn. Kubiak indicated Zuhn will play against the 49ers. Rogers played two plays on offense and six on special teams.
The offensive lineman, taken in the third round, didn't play on offense as usual, but he did log five snaps on special teams.
The wide receiver, taken in the fourth round, was activated from the injured reserve, but he was a healthy scratch. So, that's not overly encouraging.
The fourth-round pick suffered a stinger for the second time since Week 5. His availability for Sunday in unknown.
The defensive tackle, taken in the sixth round, was inactive for the fifth time this season. It was a bit of a surprise since he had a forced fumble in Week 7 and the team had just waived Jonah Laulu. Meanwhile, rookie Tim Keenan, elevated from the practice squad, has been getting quality playing time the past two weeks. It leads to speculation that a Keenan-for-Pegues roster move could potentially be in play at some point.
The seventh-round pick played 18 snaps on special teams, which is his norm. He didn't play on defense, a week after he had three defensive snaps, his first defensive action of his career.
