Dimitrios Kambouris // Getty Images Elsa Hosk was tasked with wearing the biggest wings on the 2026 Victoria’s Secret runway—just months after giving birth, btw—and made the job look completely stunning and effortless. But apparently some people had negative feedback about Elsa’s walk, and Gigi Hadid’s entered the chat to shut them down.
Defending her friend and fellow VS model on Threads (in response to a since-deleted comment), Gigi wrote, “This really PMO^ Elsa slayed this. I’m the biggest fan of the OG Angels; but even the scale & size of this runway is not comparable to the OG shows. It’s a looong walk in the wings these days ++ they can be 75+lbs, 10+ ft tall, sometimes animatronic, etc.”
She then added that “The wings are getting bigger bc the viewers love it & they’re MAJOR but NOT aero dynamic, then add the gust of runway fans!! It takes 3 men to take these wings off of us. Elsa is stunning, strong, & carried these like a boss. Y’all have no clue.”
Meanwhile, Elsa celebrated her runway moment on Instagram , writing, “Nine shows later and somehow the butterflies never go away 🦋. Feeling incredibly lucky to be back alongside all the incredible angels on the @victoriassecret runway, a place that holds so many special memories for me. Two babies later, walking with these incredible wings — a little reminder that we only get stronger with time, that motherhood adds to who we are, and that age has never been the limit.”
She ended her post with “Never taking any of it for granted. Forever grateful to be a little part of this dream 🤍.”
