Charlize Theron, 51, Stuns in a Givenchy Jumpsuit With Dramatic Ruffles That Creates a Gown-Like Illusion

Charlize Theron made a striking fashion statement in Dallas, Texas, over the weekend, wearing a black-and-red Givenchy jumpsuit that appeared to be a dramatic evening gown from a distance.
The Oscar-winning actress, 51, attended the amfAR Dallas gala on Saturday, October 24, where she received the organization’s Award of Inspiration for her humanitarian work.
Before taking the stage to accept the honor, Theron caught attention on the red carpet with the unusual design from Givenchy’s Spring 2027 collection.
The sleeveless ensemble featured a fitted bodice with double straps and cherry-red trim. Its most distinctive feature was the voluminous, wide-leg trousers, which incorporated dramatic ruffles and red piping along the hips.
The exaggerated silhouette created an optical illusion, making the jumpsuit resemble a floor-length evening gown when viewed from afar. Up close, however, the separate trouser legs revealed the outfit’s unconventional construction.
Theron completed the look with a statement silver belt, coordinating stud earrings and black peep-toe heels. The metallic accessory added definition at the waist while complementing the red detailing throughout the ensemble.
Her beauty look maintained the outfit’s edgy aesthetic. The actress wore smoky eye makeup, dark mascara and glossy nude lipstick, while her blonde hair was styled in an asymmetrical updo with side-swept bangs.
The appearance followed another notable fashion moment for Theron at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on October 17. For that event, she wore a black lace evening gown featuring intricate beaded panels and sheer detailing.
At the Dallas gala, fashion was only part of the evening’s purpose. Theron received the Award of Inspiration in recognition of her longstanding support for amfAR and its efforts to advance HIV research and prevention.
The organization announced the honor earlier this year, highlighting Theron’s humanitarian work and her involvement with the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, which supports the health and safety of young people in Southern Africa.
