Brand, 50, has received allegations from women accusing him of rape, sexual assault, and controlling behaviour at the height of his fame, when he was fronting talk shows, hosting on mainstream radio, and starring in Hollywood blockbusters. Amid a lengthy investigation, yesterday, the Get Him to the Greek actor was charged with one count of rape, one count of indecent assault, one count of oral rape, and two counts of sexual assault in four separate incidents from 1999 to 2005.
