A California-based mochi ice cream company has issued an urgent nationwide recall after an undisclosed ingredient was discovered in its product. My Mochi recalled 1350 cases of Peach Mango Sorbet on Thursday after undeclared pasteurized cooked egg whites were detected in the food item, putting people with allergies at risk. There have been at least two reports of 'minor' allergic reactions linked to the sorbet sold in stores including Target and Wegmans, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
