The fate of the Dutton family ranch is at risk in season 2 of 1923. In the first teaser trailer for the long-awaited return of the Yellowstone prequel series, the family needs Spencer Dutton (Brandon Sklenar), and he's doing his best to get home to Montana. As the trailer begins, Spencer says, "In Montana, there's a war over my family's land. And they're losing it," as a worried Cara (Helen Mirren) and Jacob Dutton (Harrison Ford) fight to protect the ranch.
